Order66 is an exploit originally found by Taureor.
All DLC's were used for this video.

Taureor had his fun with this. To be fair, its more surprising it took this long to get patched.

This puts an end to an era. I'm actually glad this got fixed, it was hanging around for years and was abused too much.

About time they fixed this exploit it’s been around for way too long. Taureor is going to have to redo almost his whole guide library now that this is gone.
Well he does know a lot of other tricks, he'll be allright.

He has 2 tactics, order 66 and bleed manpower until he wins
imagine being taureur and relying 100% on exploits to do challages.

I did my first & only order 66 against the entire axis only 2 days ago. it was for my last achivement (Cheese your fighter)
Time to do all achievements again for a 4th time I guess. Some classic order66 strategies will definitely require something else now. At least they also fixed the 'ghost divisions' on the map when you annex a country that you have expeditionaries from.

@@Commonwealth_Of_Pennsylvania That's the best thing about it. I was tired to see this meme exploit being used in many Hoi4 gameplays because someone is just too lazy to play the game the way it was intended.

I'm kinda split :
-It would sometimes make some achievements guides bad, aka "just do this ancestral trick" ...
-But at the same time it was just an easy way to beat major nations as minors, such as pre AAT Finland vs USRR, without crying for man power or ressources we don't have, thus making absolute hardcore achievements more doable.
I've watched one about "Cheese your fighter" achievement, it was great up until they've order 66. So instead, I've save scummed (Frankly, if PDX could at least allow achievements in non hardcore mode if no cheat code have been used, that'd be great since there is not fun how one mistake could ruin an entire achievemnt run, rant over) to defeat the axis in a more "regular" war. Yup, I had to load again and again because I didn't want to redo an entire campaign, but I've learnt how to defeat the axis as Norway post barbarossa, which made me a better player (besides save scumming :x)
There are ways to backup Ironman games and effectively treat them as saves if you need them
@@benjaminsousa7657 yup that's what I've done but I somewhat think this restriction is silly if we can "save" games anyways
@@hirokitakei9272 Saving would be good, but I suspect they might just do the vic3 system where they allow basically everything but console, which is too far for me

@@antasil5768 Challange is an important part of this game. Someone who has never fought a major war in the late game, for example Allies after 1944 shouldn't call himself a real Hoi4 player.
Im so glad that I alteady did all of the hard achievements. I mean e.g. my whole siberian tiger campain was based on that tactic. Now without order 66 it is going to take 5 times the time I needed. I also think that this teleport solution feels kinda lazy

If this is true I will literally start a crusade against Paradox, literal bs what they are putting out recently, denying any fun in their untested boring slop of a game
I'm actually pleased they're addressing lots of old bugs in this manner. Hope you can see the positive side of that as well.
@@antasil5768 I can't see the positive things, they are only fixing exploits, not actual bugs, they are removing any possible fun left in this game

I really dislike the idea of patching exploits in a single player game against AI. It just takes the fun out of it. Same with the Lend-Lease cheese for civil wars.
Its been a thing of the current lead developer to look at youtubers and fix stuff to make a game as they intended. I'm personally happy with a lot of the old bug fixes they're picking up and overall they're making a better game.
@@antasil5768 I agree with the bug fixes. I distinctly remember Kaiser Germany not getting a core on Gdynia because it was a new state added with NSB. Yes, fix the bugs.
But we’re talking about player cheeses against the AI. Multiplayer servers will just ban said cheeses in their rules. It’s like when a weapon gets nerfed in a single player shooter.
i think with this update taureur will have a hard time playing the game, since you know, no skill so has to use it to do anything.

Quite disappointing. I think I have used order 66 for a couple times or so out of 1400 hours I have in this wasteful addictive time consuming black hole of a game. Why do I then think it's a bad move? Simple. The achievements are outrageously horrendous. Like fucking "conquest the world as Tuvalu". Most of the achievements are absurd, so let people enjoy them by using absurd game mechanics. In fact, just let players have fun the way they seen fit... After all, isn't that the purpose of games?
time to QUIT this game once and for all
