Don't know if its already patched but there was a time the focus "unite the kingdoms" would annex all your puppets and give you the cores they had, meaning you should puppet every country you conquer before doing the focus for extra cores.

They patched it and leave the Yugoslavian nations, Bulgaria, Transylvannia, and Hungary only.
Kinda wish they add Greece, Albania, and Wallachia (Southern Romania) on the list so that we can core the Balkan as Yugoslavia.
Well when you conquer Greece, Albania, Italy, Russia or whatever country you want.. Just give their teritory to one of your puppets.. ohh i duno perhaps bulgaria.. And make Romania into Transylvania and then (you also get the dracula thing) when you unite all kingdoms you get cores an all that.
So i do the same like you, only I give greece to bulgaria, Romania to Transylvania, I make Italy puppet so do Austria, release them, destroy them and so on and on and on.. You can make entire world your core.
Just make all teritory to be under any puppet that goes back to your core and when you are done you click unite all kingdoms.

Bulgaria is a south Slavic nation with a similar culture and language to the people of Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia literally means south slavia or the land of southern Slavs. Bulgaria is the only predominantly south Slavic nation to not be a part of Yugoslavia, and attempts were made to include Bulgaria in Yugoslavia. Idk why you gain cores on Hungary.
Wasnt anything to do with that, it was a bug with how the focus gave you cores on all your puppets instead of just the ones it was supposed to

Hungarians might kills me for this, but Hungary is ethnically Slavic. The Magyars that moved in did not become the majority population, they because a small ruling class and left their language.
@@FirstnameLastname-cw8ok Well sure but that doesn't mean that it makes sense for them to be cored. People don't feel a sense of national belonging because they can sense that their chomosomes are shared with the people in government, it's language, culture and identity, none of which are shared between hungarians and slavs.
If you're running ahistorical and Hungary goes Austro-hungary, then you can also get the cores on Austria and Czechoslovakia.

I am a Hungarian, and I too like when you occupy my country, because that way I will be able to hear the funniest pronunciation of * PEAKS * (it is pronounced like "peech" or something like that).
I didn’t have Feedback’s guide when I got this achievement so I got it with “blood, toil, tears, and sweat”
note : if you manage to have 7-2 before makes puppet they also grant your 7-2 template, and AI of your puppet most likely to create division from 7-2 since it base division on its program
Interesting that the focus that releases Bosnia is bugged. Although I did discover on my own that the one that releases Croatia does actually give the correct divisions to them. I always learn something new about the game when I watch Feedback!
I still remember the greatest glitch with Yugoslavia, coring the entire world.

You should always create the most countries because the generic focus tree gives them a bunch of factories (and so you get a lot of factories built for free in useless land lmao)
You would wait for a long time since the devs actually put the Industrial focuses for those one-state nations, Belgium, and Denmark waaayy down on their priority list.

Tried this focus and I actually lost quite a few factories after re-annexing the republics.
Two things which should be pointed out, which i learned the hard way when i did those achievments a couple of weeks ago.
1. Dont Disband the Militia Divisions after reuniting the Kingdom (not sure what happens if u disband before it). U will not get their Equipment nor their Manpower, they will just "Grey out" and stay on the map, but u lost control of them.
2. Declare war on Italy before Germany invades France/Benelux. U need a 2-Front war against them. If u wait till France/Benelux falls, u will face the entire Wehrmacht. And thats a Battle u can barely win.
Then one suggestion, i did. I puppeted Greece in Krete. So they keep their Fleet. Since u dont get cores there and u declare war on Italy anyway it doenst matter that Italy get a war goal on you/Greece.
Its not a big fleet, but i guess it would be a shame if it just disappears.
The Bittersteel version to me was more satisfying as the SFR Yugoslavia taking all the Balkans and doing a collaboration government in Italy means you get them before a oeace deal. Takes 2 in years game time longer, but you become an insanely strong nation and papa Stalin gives you equipment for days.
Well the division issue is if you have expendintery forces from the puppet, which glitches out if you have it controlled while you annex them. However, if they control the division before you annex them, it becomes a normal division that you can disband for the manpower/equipment
Sometimes I feel like I want to go too fast, you know? With Yugoslavia, since the last DLC, I had real problems because I wanted to go for austria first and couldn't make it. So once again, I learned something today. A slightly longer and more stable route to Huge-O-Slavia! Thanks, great video!

Yo, Dave. In the peace deal, during your turn click on the enemy nation on the left column to see how much points they would have to spend on a part of a nation. It correlates with (duration of) occupation mostly and whether they have claims/cores on it.
So what you do then is buy the parts of the country they are likely most interested in which they could in theory afford. When you reached the point where only the expensive parts (your occupied territories) left it's pretty much smooth sailing. Sometimes you may have to pay overprice when you buy their occupied lands when it's worth it to cut them off.
General rules like cutting them off from land and sea apply, of course.
pdx: our ai is the most advanced
also pdx: our ai was written in the 90s
even more so pdx: that expert ai mod we are gonna ignore it to add more exploits in the dlc
13:20 Why does it work like that? Because of how PDX cobbled together the functionality of USA's Monroe Doctrine all the way back for 1.0, and they haven't touched it since launch. They wanted the US to A) Not guarantee any European nations and get called into WW2 early because of it, B) Get called to war if European powers (or Japan) invades South America and C) Not get called into small wars between South American countries. The sheer number of guarantees going out to all nations in Latin and South America resolved issues A and B, and guarantees automatically cancelling each other out resolved C.
Also, the British and French guarantees are probably an issue of WT rising high enough to allow the Allies to guarantee Yugo. And Historical AI Allies are probably scripted to guarantee Yugo because of the claims Germany and Italy get through the focus tree.
These random meme's through out the video really made me chuckle.
5:27 iirc you don't need the BftB for that. That was reworked when BftB CAME OUT, but it's not necessarily tied to it. So DoD alone should do it(maybe TFV as well since it gives puppet mechanics)

to be fair, cores on Bulgaria make sense (probably not what devs intended) but Bulgaria and Romania were intended as part of Yugoslavia when the idea of united balkan state being conceived

Dave, I don't know if this guide works now with NSB. Transylvania has cores in Romania (Check!). After I complete Reunite the kingdom, the cores stay as Transylvanian, not Yugoslavian. Therefore, 240 day justification .. :( AAAAAAND Germany declares on poland in June 1939, before my justification is complete :(

Currently doing it loosely following this video as a guide, it appears that we no longer have free cores on Romania. Such a shame, but still fine.
I don't know if you are going to read this but this tactic doesn't work in No step back. For some reason, France gives up the garantie on Yugoslavia after attacking Greece.
It does work i did it yesterday, just wait until france loses to germany an flips to Vichy, they lose their Garantee :)

I finally did this achievement with the help of the Naval Production exploit. Before that I had a solid 20 attempts and I would always get cock blocked by random Czech guarantees which brought the Allies in nonetheless. In the end I had to invade every single continent and slug out a war against Germany that involved like idk 20-30k fighter 3s. Having Medics on my divisions saved my ass. I'm still having nightmares about this achievement

Actually that path doesn't require together for victory I did it once cuz I accidentally turned off Together for Victory by accident, you can release them all, they won't be integrated puppets because there is no autonomy system
I am pretty sure the game makes you annex all the puppets you have, basically, I am pretty sure you could have cores on greece and potentially way more countries through the reunion focus
Sadly no cores on Greece anymore. Been patched
If you didn’t take the reunite focus you could core any country with a capital in Europe. Using that bug you can get the most cores in the game.
It’s impossible to actually happen, but theoretically it’s possible with player involvement. it’s Monarchist Portugal going Brazilian, Imperial Federation (Full, includes America with all states and New Zealand and South Africa forming their formable), Good RNG For France getting all cores on colonies, the Greeks forming Macedonian Empire, either Al- Andalusia being formed and getting cores on all of their territory (this and the Greeks may be redundant), the ottomans get all their cores in Egypt, Arabia, and Sudan. Then puppet all of them and every other European power before completing the focus.
That's been patched

Hi everyone, I got to the point of declaring war to Romania, I did almost everything as in the video (some researches different and I went for the stability advisor before rising manpower pool), the problem is that when I declared war to Romania, France joined and screwed the whole thing, being me at war with the Allies, is it some bug? It didnt happen with Greece.
Same thing happend to me, had to do the whole thing over. I just improved relations with France (and to be sure, the UK) before going to war with Bulgaria and Hungary. That did the trick!
Morale ? Dont start wars with România

I tested this puppet thingie about few weeks ago and it makes cores almost in all European countries. I made one in all the Balkans (including Romania, Greece, Albania, but except for Turkey), Italy, Austria and Switzerland.
It's patched you must be running a old version
