Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. Knowing that Sultan Murad will not stop anymore, Kösem Sultan takes measures to protect Şehzade İbrahim.
Sultan Murad IV conquers Baghdad, despite all the measures of the novices. Kemankeş appointed Mustafa Pasha as the Grand Vizier and sent him to Shah Safi.

I don't think people realize the excellence of this scene.
First of all; Alihan (Mustafa) does such a great job at conveying his emotions. As cute as he is, you can't help but feel bad for him. Truly heartbreaking.
The close up shot of his feet not even touching the ground is an amazing way to make the viewer realize how young and small he is. Shows his innocence and the fact he's powerless.(but abused by his grandmother for power). Notice how he was the FIRST one to stand in attention when Ahmed came back (the most bad ass shot I've ever seen). AND how Mustafa was the ONLY one excited/happy/relieved to see his older brother.
Mustafa running to Ahmed, yelling BROTHER, while holding his crown is the CUTEST thing EVER.
Second; Ahmeds emotion and anger is PURE and RAW. Absolutely AMAZING.
And last thing I wanted to mention. Murad Pasha is probably the most BADASS dude in this entire series. The way he's always by Ahmed's side, always ready for orders. Notice how he tells the others to take Mustafa away, so he wont see the beheading. This is to prevent him from being traumatized and scared.
All in all; this is probably my favorite scene of the entire series. One scene to make me a HUGE fan of all 3 actors I just mentioned.

I don't know how I discovered this series on CZcams but I am so hooked the raw emotion and talent that these actors bring to the series I was trying to explain to a friend it doesn't matter if it's in subtitles can't you feel don't you see. Great review of this scene Ahmed loved his brothers and didn't want any of them to be put to death I think it was through the treachery of Kossem that it became a necessity

i love how Mustafa is to young to understand what is going on. All he cares about is that his brother is home. so sweet
I felt sorry for Mustapha, his grandmother used him as a pawn for the throne, his brother trapped him in a room for half of his life and his nephew executed him
I mean in real life mustafa was less than a year younger from ahmed but in the series he stayed young and ahmed didn't lock him in the prison but in the old palace in real life other sultans would have killed him without thinking it and yes his grand mother used him but safye used everybody to gain power

Out of the entire Magnificent Century series, this is and always will be one of my favourites. This very video and scene was the one that introduced me to Magnificent Century, and after watching both MC and MCK, I have deduced that this is my favourite series of all time.
I have watched both of them as well. Thing is kosem series had way more plotting and mystery . Look how shady and deceiving every character is . No one in hurrem series tried to overthrow Suleiman but here it's a complete different thing . The MC story was very bland and simple I believe . The plotting was there yes but not on this level .People won't admit it because of nostalgia . However the single greatest actor in both of these series , without a doubt is Suleiman (halit ergenc ) . Even sultan Murad actor was amazing and made Murad quite menacing and scary but Suleiman felt much more scarier for some weird reason . He had this unusual aura around him . Both series were however amazing 😀

Prince mustafa got crazy because of the trauma of this scene.
In reality, this has not ever happened .this is all Fictional and Mustafa I was not so small child, he was 12 years old, only 6 or 10 months younger than the sultan. Both were of the same age And Mustafa I was not imprisoned in the Kafes during the reign of Ahmed I but was sent to the Old Palace to live with his mother and grandmother. He was imprisoned in the Kafes only after his first deposition. All these fantasies and fictional scenes were created to make the series thriller. For example, they portray the ambassador of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan I Mir Zarif the Mughal Emperor himself, and show him kissing the feet of Murad IV. The person whose ancestor Timur was the only man to capture an Ottoman Sultan.

I used to watch this and this little boy never appeared on the scene without making me smile like you smile at the beauty of a flower or a beautiful bird chirping . I wished somewhere in my heart if I have ever blessed with a son be him like this young Prince . Fast forward I forgot about this boy completely like his name or anything else about him, then after many years had my own son as cute as a button, same hair colour and curly just like him.. and this series appeared one day out of a blue on my recommendations only to remind me how I loved this boy and Allah has been so merciful to having had my silent wishes come true also to realize my sons name is also😂 Mustafa ❤
