    The golden years of the Ottoman Empire come to life in a television series. The life of Suleiman the Magnificent is preparing to be a guest in your homes in all its glory. Get ready to experience the era with ambition, loves, wars and all the struggle.
    Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
    Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
    Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
    Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.
Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

    Louis II of Hungary was in fact only 20yrs old at the time of the battle and not a middle aged man as dipicted in the show. Apparently, after seeing the lifeless body of Louis, the Sultan was saddened by the sight and remaked, "I came indeed in arms against him; but it was not my wish that he should be thus cut off before he scarcely tasted the sweets of life and royalty."

    The problem is Hungarian had a banner with Habsburgs (Imperial) eagle. It's not accurate because Habsburgs did not support Hungarians in their fight. As is the case with many battles during history, the Battle of Mohacs was decided even before it began.
    After the peasant revolt in 1514, Hungary was no longer a unified country in any sense of the word. Transilvania was very different than the rest of Hungary and were only supporting the hungarian king in theory. Other hungarian nobles did not support him either as he had been limiting their power since he became king. And of course the foot soldiers/peasants were not happy to fight either as they were oppressed.
    On the other side there was a highly proffesional, more motivated and much bigger army.

    Such was the synchronization of Ottoman forces between their Akincis, Sipahis and whole variants of Infantry corps in tactical pitched battle that the reputation of their military was feared throughout Europe. The discipline, the accuracy of movements of each tasked role was executed almost flawlessly like typical horse nomads fought. However, as fortifications improved along with improvements of cannon engineering, the system met an effective counter. The decreasing professionalism of Regular Infantry of Sultan's household also doesn't help. Hence, after Vienna Ottoman didn't hold an edge over their enemies. It doesn't mean the Sultans didn't try to reform state's military, it's just that the subjects only loyal to the Sultan in war time due to power struggle.

    Interestingly effective use of cannon against human targets was an Ottoman innovation.
    Europeans still predominantly used artillery only against fortifications at that time.

    He leído mucha historia desde que era pequeño y no soy un historiador, observo detalles de los combates desde milenios con los actuales combates ; era costumbre antigua avisarse en donde se iba a producir el combate ,lo vemos al Lee la Biblia, la Ilíada, las guerras del Peloponeso , en la época romana, edad media ,fijaban los lugares de combates y no duraba más de dos horas esos combates. En actualidad ha cambiado ese viejo sistema de guerras. En nuestra época más comteporanea ya no se busca afectar a los civiles , solo destruir al contrario combatiente, su logística en forma puntual o pinzas de cirugano , las partes vitales del país, sorpendelo por dónde atacarlo.

    • @wewenang5167
      @wewenang5167 Před 3 lety +3

      Balkan people are Slavic not Turkish, and furthermore most of the Turks in the Ottoman era was actually Greek and Slavic Muslim, the Ottoman was not a Turkic ethnic empire but a Muslim empire and the citizen and the army came from various ethnic group and most of them are Greek, Armenian, Hungarian, Bulgarian and Slavic Muslim, most of the Janissary was Slavic, Armenian and Greek because the Ottoman always took Greek and Slavic Christian boy in their youth to be trained as the Janissary and be converted to Islam, that is how most poor Christian family avoided Jizyah tax, if they dont want to pay Jizyah they need to send one of their boys to the military to be converted, and that is why only the rich and Christian nobility stay Christian even after 600 years of Ottoman rules because they just pay Jizyah and they dont have to send their sons to be Muslim Janissary. They all have with blonde hair and blue eyes ...so what's your point?
