I was in New Mexico for vacation, and as my family was driving back home, we saw signs for falling boulders and I sank into my seat in fear. I live in rural Minnesota, so we don’t really experience falling boulders here.

@@SherQ902 well he did get pinned between the semi and a car then tumbled a couple hundred meters down the highway as his bike literally disintegrated around him at about 55MPH, I wouldn't call the man a liar , he went through hell 😆 😆

I can't post a link because CZcams deletes them... but there's an article from the 'Independent' that says he'd been _"riding erratically & overtaking dangerously"_ in the lead up to the crash & he tried to deny he was even riding the bike, so he must have fled the scene... which is impressive given he'd severed one of his toes.
Citations for distracted driving should start at $2000 and double for every time after. Absolute Selfish Entitlement puts other’s lives and property at high risk and offenders must be held accountable.
The guy complaining about people passing on the right is probably the same guy camping the middle/left lane going 5-10 under the speed limit.

Thanks for putting together this compilation of accidents. When I was a police officer, I pulled up to several accident scenes and wondered, "How the heck did THIS happen" as there were vehicles spread all over the place. It's informative to see how vehicles react when they are involved in collisions.

Seeing that wrecked 66 Mustang breaks my heart.
That incident where the truck intentionally runs over the motorcycle rider, does anyone know if that lunatic has been caught? People like that shouldn't be out on the streets walking, never mind behind the wheel of something as dangerous as a motor vehicle.
It really looked quite deliberate, I can’t imagine how it was accidental. What a horrible thing to do! They ought to be able to find the vehicle- it has a distinct rack on it.
22:17 Cammer had plenty of time to avoid this accident - it’s his duty to keep space between himself and vehicles in front of him.
He further showed abysmal defensive driving skills by locking up his brakes instead of a quick hard brake followed by moving to what appeared to be a very much available right lane.

@@mercedeslover907 It's a common mistake made by cyclists. They somehow think that normal drivers at normal speeds will recognized they are traveling at twice the speed and yield to them. They don't and thus you end up with this type of accident. Unfortunately it's quite common.
I thought the same thing. I'm guessing the video author is guessing what he thinks should have happened and put his thought down as fact or may be he meant the Audi. In this country this is clearly the error of the Audi not the biker.
At 2:20ish,the motorcycle that got cut off by the car,that got charged is MOJOR B.S. that damn car cut him off. So wtf. .🤬🤬🤬
Yellow box on the post is a speed camera, if he was charged it was because of excessive speed.
Speeding is my thought too. If the yellow box is a camera it might not have been able to see the motorcycle through the other traffic. Looking at the dash cam alone it's fairly obvious he's going much faster than everything else, but difficult to calculate an exact speed. So, no exact speed.... let's call it without due care (or reckless driving around here).

Sorry but the motorcyclist was clearly speeding. At that speed, the vehicle making the turn could not see him until its too late. The dude literally tried to deny he was on the bike.

It is unbelievable how many people run red lights these days putting so many others in jeopardy of losing their lives. I've been driving since I was 15 years old, 45 years now & have never caused an accident, I've been hit 1x by a teenager.

At 2:41 p.m., Palm Beach County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the 200 block of Ponce De Leon Street for a reported two-vehicle crash with fire, just west of State Road 7, the agency said. This is near the La Mancha residential neighborhood.
Both vehicles, including the one pulling a landscaping trailer, and an Audi( the white car), had extensive damage but there was no fire.
The Audi hit at least five trash and recycling bins as far as a block and a half away from the crash on Ponce De Leon.
Lou Yagovane told WPTV reporter Joel Lopez the Audi was going 80 to 100 miles an hour when it crashed into the truck
The driver of the Audi who died in the wreck has been identified as Rolando Rancano, 37, of LaBelle.
Yagovane said he was doing work in his car in a driveway when "all of a sudden I heard like a NASCAR sound. I barely turned aorund and saw skids marks."
Lou Yagovane said cars have been going fast in the past.
"I just a few weeks ago I had been one of the ones that called about the stop sign being ran constantly on this road," he said. "Finally the next day, the next day there was cops everywhere and they were finally starting to give tickets or whatever. It's just not stopping! It's just non-stop."
Rancano was pronounced dead on scene by paramedics. Three other patients in the truck all met trauma alert criteria with one taken by helicopter and two by ground to the trauma center.

@2:33 Nikesh Mistry, 34, repeatedly tried to force the motorcyclist off the road, which resulted in him sustaining serious injuries, police said.
He was jailed for four years and 10 months after being convicted at Aylesbury crown court of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and grievous bodily harm with intent.
The incident took place in November 2022 when Mistry was driving a silver BMW near the Walton roundabout in Milton Keynes.
After what police described as a “non-verbal exchange”, Mistry then attempted to force the man in his 40s riding the motorbike off the road. They ended up driving down the wrong side of the road as the motorcyclist had to take evasive action to avoid a collision.
Mistry, of Milton Keynes, kept trying to force him off the road, trapping him between his vehicle and a metal barrier as they crashed into an oncoming car, police said.
The motorcyclist was catapulted off the bridge and landed in undergrowth below, sustaining serious injuries. He was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge.
Mistry also collided head-on with another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction, causing serious injuries to the front passenger of the car. They were taken by ambulance to Milton Keynes university hospital.
the 2:11 biker was going massively over the speed limit, doubt the car driver wouldn't have even seen him coming. Even if he had, seeing the bike hit right at the back of the car if he had been riding at the speed limit, he would have missed the car by a lot. I'm a motorcyclist, have been sinse 1978, but have no sympathy, it's all on him.

I know people want to help if they see a crash, and that's admirable, but isn't stopping on a highway just adding to the hazard of the crash and putting you, and anyone in your car, in massive danger? Is there a protocol we learned and just forgot? Genuinely curious if someone knows, I cringe every time just waiting for a pile up.
Pull over as far to the left as practical (in Australia, UK, or right in 'Murica) soon as safe to do so, put on your hazard lights (4 way flashers) is the way I was taught and tested back in the late '70's.
You often see people just stop where they are even in minor bumps, I don't think they are able to think beyond themselves, "common sense" was never that common to begin with, seems nearly lost now.

4:45 - Apparently the city settled and paid the ambulance company about a week ago, but I still don't think they should have. The ambulance went around another car that had already stopped at the intersection for the cop. You can see the headlights of it illuminated.
I was going to say the same thing... additionally the ambulance did not had its emergency lights on. So technically they need to respect the emergency vehicle. But my best guess is that they agreed to some compensation... if you get my drift.

18:13. Good example of not doing the second most important thing after accident: do stuff to avoid another accident. First accident was stuff falling out of trailer and left in roadway. There were at least two people in that truck, but only one got out to pick up the stuff in the road. Second person should have run up the road and alerted drivers with wildly waving arms to get over to the slow lane. It works. I've seen such an individual and I could tell by his emotions that there was a big problem up ahead. Perhaps not enough time to grab cones, flares, reflective triangles so just wave people over. (Most important? See if injuries, if you know first aid, render aid.)
My heart goes out to the families impacted by these tragic semi-truck crashes. Let's all drive responsibly.

Yeah, maybe people need to see more of it to slow down more or pay attention or not drink and drive. Not cutting off trucks bigger then you. I've been a wreaker driver and I've done 2 fatal accidents and alot of duis. One kid sped right into a dot bumper at a fast speed to a point it folded the bumper of the trailer and killed him. Those bumpers were made to prevent that in the first place that's alot of force. I can't wait to find a different career fields so they don't end up killing me too.

No, in the first video the car strikes the truck just as the barrier wall widens into a treed section. In the second video the car strikes the truck as the trees end and the barrier wall returns.
Looks like the same stretch of highway though.
Plus, the dark hatchback you see in the second video just prior to the collision should be just ahead of cammer to the left in the first video if it were the same incident, but isn't.
31:41 I think there's another view of that crash somewhere, if it's the same one I'm thinking of. Family in their car just driving along and someone goes flying off the exit ramp, right between some power lines and plops down in front of them, narrowly missing the power lines and any other vehicles.
24:29 & 32:50 are from the same accident but from different angles. One of a dashcam on a box truck and the other from the driver door of the dump truck that got hit.
Today’s cars flip, roll, and go airborne so easily. Tall bodies, lightweight, short narrow wheelbases, and only plastic protecting the wheels instead of steel. Oh, and not to mention really crappy immature drivers.

0:16 I saw this crash from another angle as the Porsche rolled towards the camera and that clip stated the 19 year old female driver also had a 19 year old female passenger and a slightly older male passenger, the male was seriously hurt, the females had abrasions and bruising only.
This is what the future will look like with all self-driving cars.

I'm just gonna say it. The majority of these accidents could have been avoided if AT LEAST one person had paid attention... like how many people just keep going when someone is clearly being stupid running a red light or whatever... like yes. That person is running a red light... but you can save yourself (and possibly your family) a LOT of headache if you just pay attention and be vigilant to how much everyone sucks at driving... that's part of being a driver/rider. Is accommodation for how little care about operating a VEHICLE...

13:09 Horrible accident turned even worse. I feel so bad for the gentlman driver of the Lyft. Poor man. He has terrible injuries and on top of that he gets robbed. Some people really suck. I hope he is improving daily.
I told them on interstate hwy they must make room apart to drive among themselves it is the priority. They make less than 760 ft apart with other surrounding vehicles that make them spread accidents to traffic surrounding vehicles. And they just continue to do wrong speed on interstate hwy as well as in cities and towns.
