This little girl reminds me of my first Yorkie. Her hair was do in sparse. She had skin allergies. She was also blind and had her eyes removed because they were so diseased. RIP sweet Emma.
It sounds like my dog! No, I declined remove her eyes! 10 different kinds eye medication and multiful treatments daily!

Thanks for sharing 😊 I have a scruffy jack russell/fox terrier/bichon/poodle cross and was worried that any grooming other than a good wash, brush and comb would compromise her scruffy cuteness. I'm now having second thoughts after watching many of your videos 😁

Even for home groomers, plan to spend about $100 for decent shears. Try Shears Direct for some nice options.
Best groomer I have ever seen! You have a way with them all. I have an almost 6 month old male yorkie and he does not want to get a cut at all!! I wish I could get him to stand still like you do with the first timers! It has taken me many times in intervals to get him cut and look half way decent! But, I love him so much…he has been a life saver to me! I have watched this video several times and have saved it to watch many more times! Would you please do a first time male yorkie so I can see how you cut around his privates. I am afraid to do that, afraid I will hurt him because he will not be still. Also the eyes, but he does pretty good with his eyes. That seems to feel good to him. I wish I had the front tie to help to keep him from jumping up…that is a great idea! Thank you for your videos. I really am learning from you!

You mention the thinning of coat due to a low blood sugar. Im curious because my yorkie looks similar to that puppy. Any tips that will help her coat? Your video is great , im trying to groom my own dog, im very scare to take her to a groomer due to her small size .

I grew up in a business that bred a lot of tiny dogs, many times the little ones start off life occasionally being Hypoglycemic. In most cases it would show up in the coat. The coat returns to normal after the puppy is about 6 months old and the hypoglycemia is no longer a problem. The little ones really do need to be protected, and grooming yourself can be really enjoyable.
