Me watching knowing damn well I'm going to say here take my money. It's good to see gromers like you come forward. Bc there might be a lot of good groomers like you at the same time there are bad groomers that will seal the experience for your animals in the most negative way. And then the rest of their grooming experiences is tarnished

I want to learn how to groom my tiny yorkie. What tools work best for you, scissors or clippers?
My dogs are not use to strangers. They stay very close to me when I am home and get agitated when I leave . I once ask my husband to hold our very small yorkie as I was leaving. His little head was flying from side to side and his little legs were thrashing about while he was trying to see me. I told my husband to let him go. When he was young we took him to be fixed. Vets always keep them over night but my vet knows me so she let us bring him home after he regained conscious. When we got him home he acted like he was traumatized. The slightest sound sent him running behind my legs. My female pom had accepted him and treated him like a little brother. After the surgery she wanted nothing to do with him. When she was laying or sitting down and he walked up to her she would jump up and run from him. It took almost a week for her to cautiously begin to accept him again. I wish groomers would let the owners stay with their pets if they are fearful of strangers. This lady is great. I watched a groomer with a small dog that was obviously frightened. Instead of treating it like this groomer, she treated it like an inanimate object. She did nothing to comfort the little dog. She just jerked it into the positions she wanted it in. That is why I don't like to have my dogs groomed out my presence. I do not want my little guy traumatized again.
I agree with you, and do not mind when people want to wait inside the salon and watch.
I had three show quality Maltese pets in my lifetime and always said my favorite tool was the CC 5” face comb. Loved that little face comb!

I love how you showed how to do around the legs so it blends i could never figure that out , i groom my yorkie myself , plus you are such a gentle and brilliant groomer there are some groomers on youtube that are just awful to the dogs , you can tell they dont even like dogs 😠
Agree ,I've watched a few and now I'm nervous to take my new schnauzer pup to the groomers , so I'm learning how to groom him myself. However this lady is just amazing and sweet with the pups I've watched her groom, she clearly loves her doggy clients ❤️

Beautiful job. We're getting a Yorkie in about 2 weeks. I've been looking for a nice cut that is low maintenance. I think what you've done there is perfect. Very similar to how we have our Maltese cut. Keep the vids coming. They are great.

I've had 3 (terrible) "puppy cuts" from local groomers....if I ever send my lil gal out for grooming again, I'm sending this video and telling them "like THIS please!"

Your very good I have two female Yorkies from the same litter. One will let you cut the hair on her face one won't. I use to get both cut at petco, but the lady left and I can't find her. The new girl couldn't cut the hair on Candy's face. I tried 3 different groomers but have no luck. My babies are Candy and Cookie. They're sisters. Very cute and lovable.

lol whenever I brush my yorkie, he does the same thing. the little dude will actually push my hand away with his paw. there's a whole lot of smarts and stubbornness packed into that tiny package.

You should absolutely dispute the vet. When the puppy teeth don't drop naturally and their months are crowded it is very painful for the pup. They will stop eating due to the pain which will cause nutritional issue. Those puppy teeth will rot in her mouth and cause gum disease.
My fur baby had same issues.. we removed the puppy teeth when we spayed her. She continued to guard her mouth for a couple of months after the mass extraction (12 teeth). Now I have complete control over her head and mouth. I finger brush her teeth daily.

My 3.6 pound little girl had double bottom incisors until she was about 14 months and they fell out on their own. We play tug of war and I think that helped.

Now I have three yorkies . The last Asian fusion was completely cut backwards instead of getting wider as reached the feet. It went skinnier and wider at the top so I’m gonna try letting my hair grow a little longer need to know what kind of clipper just to do their feet the pads and the ears.
The Artero Spektra is a great clipper.
Where are you located? you are so gentle I have a 4 month and hair in her face I’m afraid of hurting she doesn’t let me cut her hair anywhere in here little body.

It’s weird the vet won’t take the teeth out my dog has double canines and the second the vet saw he said we had to take them out granted she’s one year she’s able to withstand anesthesia
I was having a lot of trouble with my Yorky cutting her face trimming her face hairs and then she would do the same thing I could never hold her still and then I found if I found out a way to cover her eyes with my hand loosely she stood still she just didn’t like seeing coming at her I think

I like my Yorkie short not long. I had one yrsss ago he died🥹😔just bought another smaller teacup & he’s 8 weeks 1 pound. I want him cut short as well. I’m not a fan of the long hair.
I recommend waiting until he is a little older before shaving off his hair.
Leaving baby teeth in will cause crooked adult teeth. Not a good outcome.

Love all your videos. I need help with my Biewer's ears. He hated his top knot so I cut it off after 8 mos, but he looks more like a boy now, so I like it.. But, the ears??? I'd like them to have the long pieces that would blend in at the same length as the beard. Don't know what to do in front of or behind the ears. Any suggestions? I live in Kansas or I would come straight to your shop!

I had hoped to watch how you trimmed so I could apply some techniques to grooming my own, but I couldn't see. Either the strap was in the way, or you were trimming from in back of the dog, or she was moving and blocking the view.

I absolutely love watching and learning how to from my Yorkies from your videos. This is exactly the cut my hubs and I like for our babies. The perfect “Puppy Cut”. What scissors do I need to purchase for this? Ours are 3 and 4yrs old and the 3 yr old is just to anxious to go to a groomer so we are trying to do at home. We started him out when he was 12 weeks old at the groomer but it literally took 2 and sometimes 3 to hold and trim do to his jumping around.

@@bhahn20061 Any good 7” scissor works great. Finding the right scissor is an individual thing , it has to fit your hand and be comfortable for you. I buy from Shears Direct a lot.
