Ok so I'm in love with gidget!!My rescue York's was 4 pounds when I got him cataracts, 4 teeth, and his mom had gone to nursing home.

I always thought that you had no choice with a dog that is so badly matted but to shave them, but since I started watching you Suzanne I have learned that I have other options than to shave them. Thank you for one of many things I have learned from you.
You are the kindest and most caring groomer I’ve seen. I’m so glad there are people like you who love animals because they are so loving. I miss my little poodle who passed on Dec 5. My heart hurts so bad for her. She was all I had.

Couldn't watch the live so just finished watching this morning and woah she is absolutely precious. Thank you for rescuing Gidget! The thought that she was all alone for weeks just breaks my heart. Looking forward to seeing her bounce back and be a happy, pampered baby. You rock Suzanne.❤🐾

What a beautiful cut..I have a teacup Yorkie, 3 pounds, but her coat is different, it's like feathers, so soft and flyaway...I look at other Yorkies and their coat looks thick, my girl her coat is different.. silkie, not sure what to do with her coat..
Dogs need fur to protect them from heat as well as cold dogs dogs don’t sweat through there skin to keep themselves cool they pant by cooling the blood that goes though tongue that’s how they regulate body temp, hence fur is the insulation blanket both ways

I watched a man groom this show dog and he was showing us how to groom when he went to change the blade and nit watching what he was doing cut her beautiful coat right down to the skin, what a mess he made with this gorgeous show dog that was to be in show that weekend . Poor owners poor groomers ..
What this poor little girl must be going through to lose her mom..mostly at her age..

@@grandestyledoggrooming well that's pretty easy to deal with! The vet thinks my dog has a flea allergy (along with some environmental).

How were you able to get her?
Her owner asked me to care for her in the event she was unable.
Poor poor baby
If she needs a home I will give her a home..just answer my post and we can make a way to pick her up
I plan to keep her.
Will her hair grow back normal
Hair usually goes back to normal after the skin issues are treated. I’ve seen coats come back after about 1-2 months depending on the situation.
Watch her progress. I will document it daily.
