I do trim under the ears when I am doing a full hair cut, but not if I'm just doing a face trim, like I was doing here. This was a demo for my puppy people who wanted to know how to trim their puppies' faces when their bodies did not need it yet, or between puppy cuts.
Our groomer as we were leaving said”i saved her eyelashes”. Later as we looked we were astonished by her lashes-looked like false ones had been applied -they are so long. Unusual or not?
I've seen a couple of Havanese with beautiful, extravagant eyelashes. (even my Havanese in. full coats don't have them!) I have NO idea how you would groom a face and leave them on! Kudos to your groomer! But as I said... I'm NOT a groomer, nor do I play on on TV! LOL! I'm just a Havanese owner who does some trimming on my own dogs!

My little girl Hav. Had very long eye lashes - they call them Butterfly lashes 💕
