Coko went solo and when nobody cared, she did the gospel thing, like so many other R&B girls before here when people dont care. She didnt even wanna sing Downtown when she came back. I remember her on Taj's show on TVOne in the 2000s and she had a scene with Coko and her attitude was sooooooo stank. But I hate how Taj acts like their issues are so far in the past when on the Salt n Pepa show, her and Coko had a HUGE blow up and that was just 2018ish. Envogue AND TLC had major group turmoil also. Dawn thought she was the star and left, then she got in Maxine ear. Both came back and left again when Dawn started up with the bs in the middle of recording Electric Cafe. Left Eye was barely talking to TBoz and Chilli when Fan Mail was released.

Folks need to watch the SWV reality show when they got back together. The ladies give way more insight into their lives and how things were within the group. A manager forced them to see a therapist as a group and be honest with each other.
Seeing where they're at now as a group is major growth. Xscape on the other hand hasn't learned a damn thing & will continue to stay stuck where they are with all their draining drama

I get it SWV sold 30 million to Xscape 7 million records but it seems like Xscape kept most of their money. I feel like Xscape were around a lot of abundance when it came to networking and building business relationships so it was a natural avenue for Kandi and Tiny to write songs and make money that way.

SWV aren't very business savvy. I remember their Ladies Night show with Salt N Pepa on BET. They was trying to do a tour with Salt N Pepa which would have been an odd combination. On the show, Lelee and Taj was too busy acting like fans instead of businesswomen and it was pissing Coko off. They didn't know their value and was willing to go along with the get along. Coko peaked the BS with Salt N Pepa on Ladies Night. I love SWV but I feel like they do shows for survival and not because they want to. If they don't perform and tour, the money would start looking funny. Taj is the only one who doesn't need to be on the road like that. Coko went solo but her solo career was a flop and then she went the gospel route. With the exception of being nominated for an Grammy for her remake of "Endow Me" with Fantasia, Lil Mo and Faith Evans, her gospel career wasn't that successful either.
"The Arms of the One Who Loves You" is a way better finale song than "Understanding". I love "Understanding" but if I ever went to see Xscape live, I wouldn't want to hear that song last. I prefers "The Arms of the One Who Loves You" as the finale. "Your Eyes" needs to be added to the setlist too. That is my favorite Xscape song.
