It’s bizarre that peoples detest for Kandi removes all logic from their argument. Tamar is a known liar and is abusive. She’s shown us, Iyanla told us and her sisters have told us. She has a strange relationship with reality and her stories rarely ring true. Bringing up domestic violence after being a victim (according to her MOM) was disgusting and calling her a billy goat while looking like a Muppet was my last straw. Team Kandi w/o a doubt! I mean not to take anything away from SWV bc they are great artists but I don't see how they paved the way for Xscape when they came out around the same time. I wonder what SWVs argument would be in regards to TLC.

Tamar started this mess and now she changes the narrative of what really happened. When has Tamar ever been calm and peaceful? All I ever saw was LOUD, Bousterious and a OBNOXIOUS. I don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth. Bondy you hit the nail on the head with this one.
Xscape gets that success because of Kandi and Tiny on their shows. Kandi and Tiny should get promotor or marketing credits and not contribute it all to Xscape. It’s clear that Xscape wasn’t popping until Kandi came back and brought her Real Housewives fan base. They are over-inflating the brand of Xscape and conflating it with the brands of Tiny and Kandi. They brought this project to SWV as a collaboration. You can’t change things up midway through. The SWV women said they had already signed contracts for things. They didn’t have to be paid less, SWV should have simply changed their rate. This type of tour required a change in rate, as it would be a partnership and come with exceptional risk, Tocha leaving being the perfect example.
💯 THIS!!! KANDI is successful with her business. Tiny and Kandi are wealthy. Xscape as a group are not. How many tours did they have to headline in 6 years with 2 years worth of a pandemic? In that time they have also been opening acts. It was also Kandi in the very first episode who said the group should have gotten deals but because of the bad management, they have not been getting offers. They can ask for more money because the draw is in the limited time offer of Xscape. SWV doesn't have to, they choose to tour AND there is still a demand for them. How people believe money translates to intelligence or intelligence in one area means intelligence overall is beyond me 🙄

I don’t know, it’s like saying TLC should get top billing over Destiny’s Child because of success back in the day. Beyonce makes Desintys Child a bigger draw now.
Or like putting Backstreet Boys ahead of *NSYNC on tour. BB clearly tour more often but *NSYNC has Justin. So yes, if people are coming to see 2/4 members of Xscape and would see them perform if swv and Tamika/Rocha weren’t there, then they are kind of lucky all they are asking for xscape to get top billing.
Personally I’d be going to see Coko. Like bffr. But from a biz standpoint, I really truly understand.

Just to put it in perspective, Dental School is like Med School. Jaylon finished his first year of college not dental school. Unless he’s at a college where there is 3+4 program, he will work on his bachelors most likely in some type of science while applying to dental school his senior year. If/when accepted into dental school, he’ll gain his DDS or DMD after 4 years. He could come out and begin practicing or he could apply and be accepted into a residency which is an additional 1-6 years depending on type. All that to say, if his heart is not in healthcare, that’s probably not something he should pursue. However, I do agree with him staying in school.
What is super odd/sad about Tamar is she doesn’t even know Carlos like that. She admitted that. Why did she even insert herself?! At one point Kandi had her on her payroll when no one (including her sisters) wanted to mess with her! How quickly we forget.

Kandi on the Masked Singer was awesome. She has a great voice. Her voice is unique and does not have a gospel tone, which is popular in the black community. However, she is technically and classically trained.
She did amazing on T.M.S! I loved all the rock songs she did, they fit her voice so well!

In my opinion there are two types of ways to get paid for a show… a flat rate and top billing. Xscape does not always get top billing, therefore they also have a rate. Im sure the rate can be matched. Which would be co-heading. I’m so many words Kandi feels more relevant than SWV

I don’t think this was a argument about money. using the money is the best way to clean it up. Artists that co-headline don’t automatically get paid equally so not sure why that was her assumption if she knows their rates. Also, Kandi’s & Tiny’s followers don’t translate into streams. They didn’t even chart after Versus but SWV did. So how are they so confident their followers translate into ticket sales. If you look at the albums sold and streams.. Xscape fans are SWV fans but there are still many SWV fans that don’t listen to Xscape. They actually have a chance to expand their audience partnering with SWV especially considering their international presence. I like them both. I think they should co-headline and work out the rates behind closed doors.

Thank you for being unbiased in your commentary on Kandi. There are so many people who are blinded by their dislike for Kandi that they can never give honest and fair commentary. The news can say "Kandi was mugged and beaten while taking her kids to school," and people will say, "she deserved it".

People seem to miss where Taj replied and said to Kandi in the scene fine once you do your tour you can headline all day but for this one night we need to co headline because that one night was the purpose of the entire reality show what Kandi was saying is not wrong as a tour would go but this one night is them doing a collaborative effort . So if it's not going to be equal SWV didn't need to even be on the bravo show Xscape could have just reached out to them and said hey can you guys do a few spot dates on our tour. Periodt I know kandi is a business woman but it was very unnecessary in that instance.

Ok, so now that I’ve heard what Tamar initially said again on dish nation, it really wasn’t that
bad.
🤦🏽♀️if Todd said, “you know what it is” I don’t take that as a physical threat. I have seen him on the show, of course don’t know him in person, but I’ve never seen him threatening towards a woman on the show, so it doesn’t add up quite well for me. Her proof of him threatening her was that one statement of, “you know what it is.” They can be interpreted many different ways, but to me, it didn’t come off as a physical threat. Tamar ran with the narrative and overreacted, which seems common for her. 
I am 46 years old the only thing I know of is nursing. I wish. I would have branched out more in other fields.
I need the older generation of women to be open to therapy, but at the same time, I give them Grace. It’s easy to look at old school parents with today’s freedoms and make judgements. But Mama Gloria had those girls almost 50 years ago, when women had so few rights. Couple that with the societal BS of trusting a man to provide, and many of these women can’t help but have some resentment. It’s unfortunate that they transfer the lack of power over their lives or past to their kids. It’s sad and should be addressed & stamped out, but I get it.
I absolutely agree with what Kandi said in the speak on it about the headlining and fees, but how she said it on the show wasn’t how she explained it unless they cut out those scenes. If it was said how she meant I’m sure SWV would understand and talk to the promoters to get equal billing. I think that’s the issue

I used to watch BFV, and Tamar was always at odds with everyone, the family played into her being the "baby" of the family and didn't check her until she got too reckless with her mouth.
I feel like Kandi talking about headlining was a starting point. I hate that the conversation didn't continue because they could've gotten to a resolution. I'm with SWV about co-headlining but Coko did what Coko does and got and attitude and stormed out as usual. But Kandi didn't approach it as if they were open to co-headlining. Kandi having some business sense in an industry that is highly known for screwing over artists should be respected. Perhaps the way she brought it up could be up for debate, but everyone should be this passionate when it comes to their 💰.
Not everyone likes Kandi nor do they think she’s a good singer. It has nothing to do with the technicals behind it. Vocals are subjective, it doesn’t take away from her talent nonetheless.
Tamar has never and will never heal. Her toxicity is what keeps her in the doing to much, loud and wrong, self esteem in the gutter sunken place she will always remain.
You’d think after everything she’s been through, she’d turn a new leaf but Tamar is gonna Tamar.

I'm with Kandi in ALL areas except that headlining thing. It's a one time event and she isn't hungry. A one time co-headlining show does not hurt Kandi. Value for value SWV has more music fans. They will sell more tickets than Xscape. They can both get a great pay day for all! They are both great groups that has nostalgia as their selling point.
Kandi was ok with doing a one night event with SWV and that's what they ended up doing.

The joint show happened LAST SEPTEMBER in Ontario, CA. They co-headlined. The conversation is moot at this point. Also, folks need to stop saying "Xscape had other people in their tour. They didn't sell the tickets by themselves".. NEWSFLASH no artist goes on tour by themselves!!!!! The only artist I've seen on tour completely by himself was Prince. Hell, even Beyonce has opening acts.
This is my second listen with you and I love you already because you have a Common Sense perspective to life and speak with intelligence and not just to get clicks and likes. I agree 💯with you about Todd and Kand’s relationship and get tired of people portraying him as less than a man and Kandi as being unworthy to be loved like she has to pay a man to be with her; GTFOH with that none sense nonsense and Tamar need to have a bus load full of seats because she is fried in the head.🤨
Out of all the housewives in the HISTORY of Housewives, Kandi is the least problematic. When people say they don’t like her or that she’s a bully, I just smh. She doesn’t bother anyone.

From what we have seen of both women on our television screens, Tamar has always been an agitator. Also, I don't care how much drama Tamar starts on the internet, I have no interest in watching a show with her and Evelyn.

I don’t know if you’ll read this, but please go back to school for counseling. I think you already have a great understanding of people and relationships, and how they interact with societal structures, and your delivery is personable. I’m 28 in a PhD program now for education policy (two more years!) and it’s a great time to go back to school. Enrollment is down, many programs are waiving the GRE and there are fellowships and scholarships especially for people of color pursuing a terminal degree. Please keep us updated!

@@justty4080 they were GUEST APPEARANCES: who performed only a few songs. Lelee specifically stated they don’t mind doing that for another act’s tour because they get to go sleep right after. Thissssssss what Mona proposed to the ladies was supposed to be a collaboration. Nowhere indicated that Xscape should get top billing and after Verzuz they definitely don’t deserve top billing over SWV.

I was dissapointed with Tamar on her new show. A few guys left the show because they were honest about her behavior and she got mad with them and they were released immediately. I wonder how Holly Peete really feel about Tamar behind the scene🤔
It surprises me when folks say Kandi should humble herself when it comes to business. You wouldn’t tell a man in the business to humble himself. She knows what she is worth. If anyone else wants to lower their worth, it’s on them.
If a man said the same thing Kandi said about billing it wouldn’t be a problem. When a women speaks up about their money it’s a problem. It doesn’t matter if it was SWV or XSCAPE who said it. like you said Bondi she was talking about touring. She said they did not have a manager at the time.
