Virtually all landings are manually performed but as I understand it, most planes these days can perform a fully automated landing assuming the airport has the correct electronic systems like ILS, to support it. Someone please clarify if I'm wrong.

Good question. They didn't seem to be steering it from the cockpit, unless the guy on the left was steering it. Couldn't see what he was doing.
