Khmer Empire - Stolen and Returned

  • In 802 CE, Jayavarman II climbed a holy mountain to declare himself the god king of a new empire. What he founded was a nation of Khmer people who constructed some of the most ambitious building projects of the ancient world.
But in later ages, Cambodia was looted and many of its treasures stolen. Now, a global movement is underway to return many of the lost treasures to their rightful home. An extraordinary place, where the majesties of ancient kingdoms lie hidden in dense forests and jungles, the Khmer Empire erected Hindu temples that have over time become Buddhist, with no example more clear than Angkor Wat itself!

Thank you. I always enjoy the videos, but this one... This is something I can rewatch get a lot out of.
I've been introduced to a Cambodian family by a family from south Viet Nam, while having a drink with dude from Laos, and a guy who's family was from Northeast/North Viet Nam. Everyone from Vietnam had the same last by name, but 1 was a Nguyen by marriage. a few of them were nice enough to explain how funny, unique our going gathering was, and some of the accents and dialect differences were/are without maps, and visual references other than the people conversing. It was enlightening to put mildly since I was a homeschooled preachers kid from Kentucky, and John Wayne movies unfortunately were asian cultural studies while I was growing up.
I hate the platform and love your content.

Serpentine is their natural or preferred form and because they are magical beings, they can take human form as one did, in Buddhist legend, to ordain as a monk before being found out when the Naga reverted to his serpentine form when he fell asleep in his hut one day.

According to history, Cambodia has a history of being invaded by neighbors, caught up in civil wars, and witnessing its own citizens steal historical landmarks for profit. I am here to say that the Egyptian culture is really the Khmer. I just realized it last night when I was watching some fellow talk about how they spoke the Kheme-tic language. You know how English bastardizes everything? I realized it's the Khmer language. Don't believe me go look at statues and notice how they are so similar. The Egyptian's value of the ANKH well What did the Khmer empire have? Angkor Wat! I am sure 1000%. I was going to put it on my website first but I had to share this amazing download that I got.

Seriously you also might take ( don't assume it's just mere Hebrew culturally only but open your mind knowing better ) Genesis chapter 10 and carefully do see that names listed in it coincide or parallel thru time by extension the Khmer and also much of the Egyptians anciently and others . What it can instill is the Egyptians and ancient Cambodians at some point knew eachothers existence otherwise many see it as too far . For one there are ancient Egyptian pkaques and knife handles wirh hunting scenes of them when pre-dynastic Egyptians looked like jungle like exotic tribals as bands on such as lion hunts ..

Egyptian and Thai word similarities would be Phet = diamond, Mer = hand which looks like a tree. I'm sure many more undiscovered similarities.
I do know in Vietnamese to yield is Jew. Maybe the Jews are related to Vietnamese. Jewish people do look Asian in the eyes.

Japheth was the preserver of keeping intact the ancient Egypt cosmos as in order politically mostly creating the one great uniting the two Egypts on the Nile . The initiator of the ancient pharaohs at the beginning before pyramids created but soon to exist. Predynastic Nile valley quickly to be the powerful old Egypt . Tonbe that beyond centuries . An ideal postflood of Noah type culture .. ponder this Samantha awhile using any prior education or knowing it some how. @@joemeyers4131 Oh I believe it. Have you seen the Khoi-San people they are basically Asian stuck in Africa. Even the term Botswana in Thai means Temple of heaven. The term Niger reminds me of Ni Cher or which means in the family tree.
Even the word japheth would symbolize to me Ja Diamond or the diamond God.
There is a region between Thailand and Laos called issan. These people before saying anything like to use the letter E.
It reminds me of Egypt, Ethiopia, Esaul. By the way, the last one is supposedly Jesus and they have record of him going to India and Tibet to study Buddhist meditation.
I have even deciphered that the word Tibet is Thebes. Why? All the s's at the end of a word make a D or T sound.
By the way, in Thailand when you're going to put your heart and soul into something they say Tomb Tay. Does that word sound familiar with Egypt? Also Thai people have classical tie dancing where the costumes look like. Some Egyptian dresses and they have artwork and paintings that are composites and very similar. The white man had to cut the nose off off the statues in both Thailand, Egypt, and Cambodia because they didn't want us to know that they were all the same and not a Roman nose. If anything, the Roman are half breeds between Asian and white.
The word Egyptian in Thai ISSAN means the person who reaches for the moon. The word pyramid sounds like Sanskrit and Thai where pyre means fire 🔥 and are ram is the sun god and then mid means the coming together. Kind of like when you catch a baseball bat and a mitt. The pyramid does come to a point.

Thus George Coedes, the doyen of Angkorian studies who did so much to collect and study the inscriptions and to try and reconstruct a history from them, suggested that there was ‘a steady flow of immigrants that resulted in the founding of Indian kingdoms, using Sanskrit as their sacred language

It belonged to ancient Khomthai kings those who were the ancestors of Thai people in those days to build it that’s called” Davaravadi Sithep Empire” it was not ancient khmer king to build it.
Constructing Nakornwat (Angkor wat) had taken time for 40 years to be completed by passing many eras of the ancient khomthai kings until Siam Empire later.
The story of history would be carved into the wall would talk about greatness and prosperity, religion, tradition, arts and culture of Davaravadi sithep Empire and the Siam Empire of Thailand only. And talking about the khmer tribe as slaves laborers of the Siam Empire. Nothing was involved with the khmer.
