@@supermark7075 Um no, that is specifically Smilodon fatalis Smilodon populator was the South American equivalent. Smilodon gracillis is probably populator's ancestor and populator was bigger than fatalis.
Also saber toothed cats are not a North American species alone. All Machairodontinae were saber toothed cats. Machairodus seen in the game is one such example. Machairodus was a saber toothed cat.
The previous comment said saber toothed tiger not saber toothed cat. You were the one who decided to correct them and then ended up also being wrong because saber toothed cats are not exclusive to North America.

I wish I could play this. It looks utterly fascinating. The most important thing is learning how our ancestors learned to make tools and cook and such. I also think it’d be amazing to see how they learned to speak. You get a little hint by watching babies learn to talk, walk and use objects. I’d also love to see how animals learned which communication was the most effective to help their survival.
It’s a ton of fun… once you learn how to not die… a lot… and then some

Mighty Bush Modern Caimans are pretty tiny, comparatively, averaging around 6-8’ in length. This takes place in prehistoric Africa with Crocodylus Anthropophagus, which averaged around 18-20’ in length. Modern day LIONS typically try to leave 6’ Nile crocs alone and jaguars typically go for the 4’ or smaller caimans.

Well a lot of youtubers created spears and lifted rock in their first episode and he hasn't even slept and still hasn't even opened up the place where you can evolve his genes through many different trait s and abilities such as hitting, standing, lifting, seeing, speaking, and, learning new WEAPONS!!! HE DOSNT EVEN LOOK AT THE CONTROLS WHERE IF HE DID LOOK HE WOULD KNOW HOW TO FOCUS AND MEMORISE!!! Listen the gaming beaver is one of my favorite youtubers and I love EVERYTHING HE DOES....i watched every video and he keep playing this game and all the other games but I'm just saying he should have a VERY open mind when playing this and personal advice don't be outside ur lineage to much and also pay way more attention To ur surroundings!!! Also, a little factoid, there were actually several species of giant predatory birds, Argentavis, Hapagornis, Pelagornis, just to name a few. And Africa did host a larger scale raptor that probably was a real hazard for anything smaller than itself.
It's amazing how a game can show you the attention span of a person. I've seen too many youtubers simply not read the instructions, so then they dont have a clue what to do. Beaver is at least somewhat competent at this game though, so I'll bite for now. It will be funny to watch the struggle.

Thankfully, this bird was never gigantic. It's identified as a Bateleur eagle. This species is real and lives to this day, but it's very small and is a scavenger that doesn't pick up apes. The one in this game must be a fictional, gigantic sub-species.
