- Hey Guys Welcome back to the channel, i am SUPER excited for this one! In this video we convert the mk6 Jetta from single to dual exhaust with high flow resonator and piping! We also intall a completely custom diffuser on the Jetta to accompany it. This project was absolutely insane, made me love my car that much more. Hope you guys enjoyed! most shops in my area quoted me at $2000 but i ended up just going with the awe track and love it

That diffuser is SICK!!! .......... you should of watched my diffuser install video, would of made it super easy lol! A dual/quad exhaust is every jetta mans DREAM! I would do this but I got bigger fish to fry ;) Keep it up, can't wait for next upload.

@@nathanprice6804 what looks good is very personal and subjective, I personally love the dual exhaust, I’d never go back. But if you get some nice tips and a quality catback, you might love that too without going dual
What about the charcoal filter? Where did you relocate it was told I couldn't do this until it was relocated and put if the way

Yes but they are fake plastic. They are just for “show” you have to buy real ones. I got magnaflows

Did you relocate your evap can inside your spare tire tub? If so exactly how hard was it? I’m just nervous to tackle that job
Dude honestly it wasn’t so bad, a buddy of mine helped me do it and the entire process only took an hour and a half. You do you have to drill into your spare tire compartment though

Do you feel it was worth it at the end spending the money on the 1.8t or should I just get a gti. I have a 2.5 mk6 that im stuck with for now.
1.8T has almost the exact same potential for a fraction of the cost. I personally think it’s worth it. The 1.8T has the exact same bolt on upgrade potential, and the big turbo for the 2.0T shares the hardware with 1.8T. It’s a direct bolt on swap for big HP

If you’re not doing a dual exhaust, then there’s no need for relocation
So this is a straight pipe but with resonators only? Ik u got that down pipe done from previous vids but what’s the whole exhaust setup I can’t tell from the video lol
It’s been updated since this video to quiet it down. Full exhaust setup is , 3” downpipe, 1 OEM BMW 3” resonator, one 3” glasspack resonator, and dual Mini Cooper clubman mufflers out the back.

Hey bro I have a mk6 SE TSI w a straight pipe already is it still possible to put on the diffuser and route pipe to the other dual tips?
Unfortunately not, you have to re-do everything

@@NoLimitRoss I show how the piping is routed underneath near the end of the video. Your exhaust shop has to recreate that, including the Y pipe

All good but why a res from a different car? 😂 Wouldn't a magnaflow res be better?
We had this oem 3” res from a BMW laying around, it’s better quality than some aftermarket brand, so why not use it? Used Oem German parts are still better than new aftermarket
Should have shown the evap relocation on video. Who cares if there are write ups? Let's see it. Also the only sound clip was inside the car with you talking over it. Show us the cold start, revs, drive-by, etc. Great mod either way. I can't wait to do mine.

Put 3-500 miles on the car before you do anything else to the exhaust. Once they get coated from running it will quiet down
