Can Roland e-4 be used for live stage performance? I ever tried it with my full band performance (of course with loud sound environment) but the e-4 created huge noise / distortion unexpectedly.
Is it common for e-4? Then it’s only designed for silent studio (?)

You should be able to connect the output of the device to the input of your computer and record the device using something like Audacity/Dark Audacity. That's what I do for my Korg Volcas.
