Tomorrow I'm gonna be a new kid in a new school and I am SCARED because I have Social Anxiety Disorder. I am a VERY shy person, I'm the type of kid that would sit in the very back and not say anything, Its very hard for me to make friends, I rarely talk, I am scared to approach others and ask questions.... So basicly I am completely the oposite of what you talked in the video. I'm really2 scared that people won't like me :(

You're videos are helping me out so much. I'm going to be a junior this year and I'm moving from Ohio to Colorado. IM TERRIFIED. I've lived here for as long as I can remember and I love my youth group and my friends. It's so hard and I'm a pretty outgoing person but at the same time I don't have any idea what I'm doing! Hey Lauren, I kinda made "friends" but honestly they aren't the kinda people I would wanna hang out with. They're cool and all but I would rather sit with other people and lunch and stuff. I haven't gotten involved with anything yet, but I guess I could do that. I am a Christian and I could do a youth group or something I guess. I'm just sitting around by myself like you did, and I did it all summer too and Im tired of it tbh.

Im an international student and I have moved alot in my life. (Jamaica> kenys> ks > texas) So currently I just moved from kansas to texas and i'm really nervous especially now that im a junior here. Im a very social person and I made alotta friends at my old school but i'm sooo nervous about being the new kid again, well hope i'll have fun here! Wish me luck!

Hi I'm gonna be new at my school and I'm scared that I'm not gonna have any friends but at the same time I'm really confident sow at the same time I fell like I'm gonna have lots of friends !!!! Please I need advice for August 2015!! And what's better private school or public school ??
I haven't started at public school yet, but I'm going to, so I've heard a lot of opinions on the subject and here's what I've concluded. Private school is better for most people. Private school gives you an opportunity to stand out among a smaller student body and you develop a really close bond with your whole class. However if you aren't friends with the 59 other kids at private school, it can really suck, and public school exposes you to more people. Public school also has better sports teams and theatre/music programs. It really depends on what you're looking for.
