I have always loved bison since I was a child, so when I found Cross Timber Bison, Dusty had just started with Dunbar and the girls. Dusty is very humble, dedicated, and will do anything to give these majestic animals the best life possible. What you see is what you get without all of the theatrics, staged and click bait that so many other channels do. I have custody of my 9 year old grandson and it is just him and me. For the past 2 days he's been here at home sick. I somehow managed to binge watch cross timbers bison for 8 solid hours yesterday and for 4 hour's today. I guess you could say that I'm hooked. Never saw bison in person. But this Dusty and his bison are awesome. I am just an older woman who loves animals. Dogs, cats, horses, cows, and everything in between. You are so intelligent and know your bison. Definitely something I never thought I would watch, ever. Hey, I watch a Scot trim cows hooves and heal them. Scotland is no place for the weak! Geez, stones, nails, abscesses, rotten hoofs… horrible weather etc. Not the only one watching him. Over a million subscribers. Lord knows why! Your channel is new to me. I love the genuine look at life as a bison rancher on Cross Timber Bison Ranch. You are thrilled when things go right as well as share the heartbreak when things don't. I could just cry when Belle Starr lost her calf but followed as Dusty began looking for a cause when a cow was also found dead. His investigation into the Johnson grass was fascinating to watch. His whole family truly are stewards of the land as well as these amazing animals.

When I was a child, along a highway between Wichita Kansas and Kingman Kansas there was Bison 🦬 being raised. The people that owned them kept a pull off area for people to be able to pull over and stand by a fence to see them and take pictures. Had a sign giving history on them. Loved it as a child to be able to see them.
