- This MtG 93/94 match is a true rollercoaster between my Orbi-Tron deck against Pekim's Atog Power list. We both play with Howling Mines main deck and that leads to crazy board states with tons of interaction.
Decks: Orbi-Tron (RW) vs Atog Power (WUBRG)
Players: Timmy vs Pekim

01:02 Atog Power

Rule Set
The rules for this match are a little blurry. We planned to play according to the Swedish Rules and B&R list with Ravenna re-print rules, but it ended up as a mix of several rule sets :) Would you like to know more about the rules? Take a look at the rules vid here, • Differences between OS...

Sorry for the long games!!!🤦♂️ but do have to say the most fun I had in 20 years playing this game!!!!
Ty
Looking forward to see your Atog deck evolve 🙌
Orbi Wan Tronobi! Best of luck to both. And an awesome weekend to both! 🤘🦁🤘
😂
Have to say I'm super jealous of those card collections. I didn't have the foresight in the '90s to go and pick up the power nine. I caught the very tail end of third edition.
I need a smoke after that, LOL.
That game nr 3 though... oh my 👏
Your deck is sweet btw!
great battles!
💪
so greedy with the coffin in game one. And promptly gets punished XD
True, usually going safe is the better choice, but.. :D
I remembered that. I was so happy you didn’t use that coffin right away!!!!😜
2 lands untapped with winter orb at 1:06:33 ? Tundra and Plateau ? Or my eyes missed something ...
Yep, you'r right. This was really a long and grindy game 😂
Kind of looks like he built this deck around what cards he had readily available. Since he just got back into Magic.
Su-Chi over Jug would be my first upgrade. Still, he has an impressive collection for a player who's just coming back 🤩
@@TimmytheSorcerer most certainly he does.
How do you play online like this? I’m new to this internet sorcery! 😅
Thanks Nick, the best thing you can do is go on FB and find OS groups, like this one, facebook.com/groups/551913338322720

Atog is not played in 94/95…it didn’t become viable until they let people play Mana Crypt which is like late 90s.
Why is he stacking all his land in 1 pile.. jesus. Thats not even actually legal in play. Also, its very hard to follow as viewers with this guy trying to hide his mana.
Theres no way hes been playing 30 years of MTG and doesnt realize that is an issue.
Also, unless he has 1 arm, he CAN lay his cards down and organize things if he wants, he doesnt have to do everything 1 handed.
Sorry for the confusion…. I definitely will next time have my lands easier to read. I kinda live out in the middle of nowhere(hence the horrible connections) my nearest neighbor is over 3 miles away and idk if he even knows what MTG is? The only games I’ve been able to play in the last 20 years has either been by myself or against my son (which is against my own decks) I have never played in any tournaments and until this game I had never played online. I am learning and will definitely keep these thoughts comments and suggestions in my mind the next time I play!
Ty
No worries Pekim, it was a fun and exciting game 🙌
You need to lighten up. None of those games were difficult to follow.
@@deeterful Look HERO.... theres no way that flies in ANY play session but with Timmy because hes a nice guy. NOBODY stacks their damn land 1 on top of the other
@@FREEFROMITALL , my aren't you wound up tight. Look, no one died and left you as arbiter of all things Magic. Many people do stack their lands. This wasn't some high end tournament, it was a casual game. I'll bet you're fun at parties, 🙄.
And you're right, Timmy is a nice guy, maybe you should take a cue from that.
