I just bought an 07 that needs a little plastics work and possibly a new fuel pump. But what is this? And what are the signs to look for? I'm literally putting all new parts on this bike over the winter, so if it's a good idea to put a new stator in, I'm going to lol! But what brand did u get?
@@codyalcorn8891the magnets on the old design can come loose and get into the engine and destroy the bike. The new design makes it impossible for the magnets to come out. Some people never change them and can get 60k miles and some have them blow at 3k miles just depends on your luck
@@beaugibson2951 yeah I'm going to end up replacing it anyways. The guy that had it before me said he never changed it and the bike is sitting at 25k. I got a steal for my 09 FZ1 I only paid $2,900 for it. I have to get new plastics, front cowl, get the gas tank repainted, I even bought a new radiator and exhaust and a bunch of other stuff to change out. Figured for the price I got it for I would basically just rebuild it and make it like new again.
Same problem on my fz1n 2006 ,on 50000 km.i replace original with an RM STATOR ,10000 km EVERYTHING Excelent✍️
