WARNING
Firearms can be dangerous and even deadly if used improperly. All of John the Firearms Instructor's videos are filmed of a closed set and trained firearms instructors are always present when firearms are being used.
ANY time a firearm is being handled it should be cleared properly first. NEVER assume a gun is unloaded. ALWAYS wear proper eye and ear protection. Keep your finger off the trigger at all times and do not point a firearm at anything you love and do not wish to destroy.
THANK YOU

Got mine on 3.17 and shot about 400 rounds thru it. I LOVE that carbine !!! So much that i ordered 3 more 23 round mags for it, now i have (6) 23 round mags plus the stock 17 rounder
effortlessly wonderful!! ❤️
Great Video
Love your product, congratulations
Thanks for the demo John. Really love the gun. Great bug out weapon
No problem. I agree
Totally, fantastic PDW!
Got it. Thanks John! I’m Canadian and I’m very jealous of your firearm rights in your great state. Being under a Liberal government in our country it’s very bad for firearms owners. They’d like to ban everything. Take care.
Very original you guys are impressive
Epic video💫😍
good💝 certainly this Keep it up!📷
Even though I think my Ruger Pc9 has more aesthetic appeal, my new S&W is lighter and faster to get into action thus more practical for serious business. It's also simpler to take down for cleaning.
awesome video i love it 💙
waiting next video😍😍😍
Love mine...can make soda cans jump all day long with my red dot at 50 yards!
Thanks for the info.
I'm about 1300 miles from you give or take or I'd be there in a heartbeat to give it a go.
Not sure how I found your channel but I subbed because I like your style and how you give info.
Thank you! We love hearing that.
I appreciate👏 your Video💖
Just picked one up last week, very nice carbine.
I agree!
pretty & amazing!💙
🈶 a amazing personality!🐶❤️💙❤️💙❤️
Great video! Got as new subscriber!
Welcome aboard!
I was not as lucky as many that bought this rifle. And, I had the same problem I have read many complain about. Out of the box it took me and the Jolly Green Giant to pull back the charging handle. That was a hint. I tore it down and cleaned and oiled it and took off to the range. The first round fired and out of 45 more only 4 fired. At that point I stripped it down and where the smaller portion of the bolt should go on the larger portion only ONE way, it now went on TWO ways. Not good.
Took it back to the gun shop and they sent it back to S&W. They sent it back in a little over 3 weeks with a brand new bolt. It seems the bolt is the weakness in these first offerings. I did take it to the range when I got it back and fire a little over 100 rounds through it with no problems. Hopefully, that will continue.
BTW.....S&W advise that the charging handle be pulled back about a quarter of an inch for opening and re-folding the barrel section. Think it is on page 9 of manual. The reason is, if you continue to just pull and slam shut the charging handle will eventually wear and no longer secure the barrel section.
Sorry to hear that glad you got it fixed.
yasssss 😍👊🏼
Hey John,
Do you know if the barrel is interchangeable with other AR-9 barrels, or is it pretty much fixed to the handguard?
I was thinking it might be cool to mount a shorter barrel and pin a comp on the end for the "integrally-compensated" aesthetic.
I’m not sure about that. But I would believe that Smith and Wesson would want to make their product for their product only
Adorable🦋
Oh my GOD
Needs a nitride barrel.
nice!💝
New to channel. Just got mine and have put about 100 through it, very pleased. What optic do you have on it. Got mine for 579
I just had some standard red and green reflex sight. nothing expensive.
Video💙Wow ❤️
wow liked⚡❤️
Be nice to see a video of how to disassemble for cleaning
Great suggestion! Coming soon!
@@johnthefirearmsinstructor Plus one for a disassembly video, and subscribed!
excellent😍💞
❣️💗🤗👏phenomenal💥💥💥
I can't get the bolt to lock to the rear using one side or the other's bolt catch / release. I have to pull / push up on them both at the same time to lock the bolt to the rear without an empty magazine in.
I contacted S&W customer service and explained to them the situation. They came back and asked me if the last round hold open works with an empty mag in and I said yes "which it does" and then they said, well everything works as intended and that the bolt catch was not meant to be manually operated and was for a last resort.
Can anyone confirm this?
Thats what I have heard. I can lock mine back fairly easy from the right side.
If S&W Says that' its supposed to be that way I'd say to just go with them on that.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's are selling FPC's for $579.

Such video, so attractive🌊
pretty😍
Hi John. Nice video. My FPC is really nice, reliable and fun. Here's something that might interest you. I recently finished a short book written just for firearms instructors. I see a lot of material for how to shoot but not how to teach it. You'll have to search it, "Beyond the Muzzle: The Firearms Instructor and Shooter Development Guide". It really gave me a lot of ideas and a new perspective. I think it would help at any skill level. Thanks again. Nice work and look forward to your next video.
Thanks I'll be sure to check it out.
♥️love ur
Dream your dream
decent😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
It\'s interesting not just cool!
Such , 🆘 desirable🌊
Whatever you guys do, don’t pull the trigger when you have the gun apart asked me how I know because I did it
What happened WHEN you did. About to pick one up.
@@kevinleonard8770 the hammer went forward and I couldn’t push the bolt in all the way In after I took it apart to clean it. In the manual, it tells you to put the safety on so you don’t pull the trigger by accident. In all fairness I did not read the instruction manual fully, and it said do not pull the trigger when the bolt is removed. But shooting it at the Range, it was a lot of fun and a great gun. I sent it back to Smith and Wesson to reset the hammer but people on the Smith and Wesson forum a couple guys did the same thing and apparently you can reset the hammer yourself but I read the comments too late and now it’s at Smith and Wesson getting repaired.
Ok, so this happened in the folded position? Or when u field stripped it, just wanna make sure I'm reading it right. Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to pick mine up from the pawn today. Any videos on how to reset the hammer? All knowledge is good! Hopefully S&W gets it back out to you soon. Alot of people think this pcc is pointless but it has so many good features!
@@kevinleonard8770 it happened in the folded position. This video is for the Kel-Tec sub 2000 but it’s basically the same thing put a long
screwdriver in and push the hammer back down again. czcams.com/video/2Mx-wN7l3DY/video.html
@Tom thanks!! Just picked mine up. Hopefully, I'll put a review up on the tube soon. Going to try to put 1k through it!
