What brand and type grass seed do you use?
@@markspark1981 How I renovated my lawn with all the details: czcams.com/video/c54WSOI-MMc/video.html
@@SilverCymbal ah I remember now. I am deciding between Jonathan Green original or Ultra and GCI TTTF...for next Fall that is
I use my leaf blower to clean out all of my vacuums also. You would be amazed at what comes out of a vacuum that you thought was clean.
I use mine to dry myself after a shower..
A mans blow dryer
Make sure the vanity doors are closed or all that junk is going to blow everywhere! Also never point the blower at the vanity top you'll be picking that stuff up for an hour!
Loved the use for gutters. I hate cleaning out gutters for one reason and one reason only.
Gravity is "always on."
Its all cool, but i had a good laugh over the grass drying. In all my 70+ years ive never, not once, been so anxious to mow the lawn as to actually dry it! :-) :-) :-)
I hear you. The grass drying is something used on small putting greens and smaller lawns for quick drying when they absolutely have to mow. Thanks for watching.
Got the idea from a friend. I have St Augistine and we had alot of rain and humidity leading to lawn fungus. It really helped to get air between the leaf blades
@@hhattingh There was st. augustne grass in our yard in west palm beach when i was a kid back in tbe 60s. I remember it well. My dad placed sod squares in checkerboard fashion and with the help of manure it all filled in quickly even over the omnipresent sand.
I use mine to blow a light snow off my sidewalk & driveway. My neighbors thought I was crazy untill they seen how well it worked. Also blows snow off my truck when I get off work. Unfortunately my co-works want to use it too.
Thatâs a really great idea. I might need that one very soon here. Thanks for watching
For sure man, That's why I bought a Husqvarna 525BX. Just to blow light snow off vehicles and such. There's not a 101 uses for a blower but at least 20, lol
In Canada that's what every one uses them for, all the pros do
My sisters car is a train wreck. My dad used his blower to clean it out and there was some kind of melted popsicle or drink in the cup holder and was sprayed all over the interior lol.
I use my leaf blower to clean my driveway when we get a light snow. Won't work with wet, hard-packed snow, but if it's "powder" as the skiers like to call it, the leaf blower works much better than a traditional snow blower IME. I really like the instant interior detail. I'll have to try that one.
I've done this on my work trucks but wouldn't advise for a car you really care about. It'll just blow loads of dust and hair everywhere. However, an air compressor with the proper attachments can really get into those hard to reach spaces especially in tandem with a vacuum nearby where you're blowing air at.
I use my electric leaf blower to blow out the lint in my clothes dryer vent. Un hook the event from the back of the dryer and blow out all that lint that is not caught in the screen and collects in the tube to the outside.
That's a great idea! Thank you for sharing and for watching my video.
I've done that. It also fills the dryer full of lint that stuck in the basket tray (I always brush them out with a soft paintbrush every load.) It's also perfect for blowing link and junk from underneath the washer and dryer when you can't get they pulled out to work behind.
That downspout idea is genius I can't believe I've never thought of it. Good job
Thank you so much, it comes in handy especially if you have a clog and a storm is coming to give you some quick help. Thanks for watching.
Do it that way after the leaves have been in there awhile and you'll have a black crud volcano with #$&* flying everywhere. Been there.......done that.
@@archiguitarchi hell yea, I'm game lol
@@archiguitarchi burp the throttle to see what you got first or hose it down once itâs all out to assure thatâs itâs clear
Clever ideas! Thank you. I also appreciate the music. :) Get really tired of "epic heavy metal"...
Bonus tip: with an electric blower, you can use it clean out the dryer vent. Helps keep your clothes crispy. Just unhook the dryer and use the blower on the vent pipe. Just takes a few seconds to clear.
I use it to blow dry my 2 German shepherds after washing them outside. My neighbors look at me like I'm crazy. But it works great and it gets rid of a lot of loose hair on them. đ
They do work pretty good for that BUT have you tried one of those blow dryers that grooming places use? I swear it blows out air so fast it'll rip your skin off. It quickly clears out nearly all of the excess loose undercoat on my husky and dries mine off almost completely in a matter of a few min. Lol they are super expend though compared to a leaf blower.
@@AltruisticWarrior I've seen! But I don't know where to get it. Where can I find one?
Another great use involves an attachment. I use a Stihl blower and bought a âsnorkelâ, basically a long plastic pipe with two 90 degree turn pipes on the end. Lets me clean my second story gutters in no time. full house is done in about 30 minutes. Just make sure to wear a rain jacket.
I modified my stihl bg85 handheld blower,
ported the head and added a tuned expansion chamber pipe like the ones found on dirtbikes. It now has more power and sounds way better than the stihl bg86, which is stihl's most powerful handheld blower. I use it to blow dry my truck and my lawn equipment when I wash them. I used to drive trucks and I used this blower to sweep out the empty trailers too, only took seconds while other drivers would be sweeping with a push broom for 20 minutes.
That's a great idea! I do linework and that would work great to clean out al the debris from the dolly and clean the cab of the truck.
Dry paint , clear out flooded carb on mower , just remove air cleaner open choke and blow. Sweep out garage. Clean off weed whacker and lawn mower.
Itâs good for blowing leaves and debris from the base of the windshield and for blow drying the motorcycle too.
Iâll stick with the garage vacuum for the interior.
We have a huge stone wall fireplace and my wife uses our blower to blast the dust off of it. Then vacuum the floor lol
Every 6 months I take all our computers, laptops, and printers outside, open them up, and blow clouds of dust out of them. All fans should be pinned so they don't over-speed. Use an electric leaf blower and not a gas one, as these can leave an oily residue from the exhaust gases.
You can also use an electric leaf blower to clean all the caked dust off refrigerator radiator coils and fins. This will help it cool better and much more efficiently. Of course the rest of the kitchen will need to be cleaned afterwards ;-)
Caught your inspection sticker... So hello from a fellow taxachusetts resident. Ha ha
Nice to see you too! Hehehehe - Thanks for watching.
Great ideas! I always wear eye protection....cause every time I don't....I'm trying to angle the mirror to remove stuff from my eye...when the old trick of pulling the top eyelid over the bottom...LOL
Detailing tip: thatâs a great way to blow dirt and crap INTO a lot of crevices that would not normally have dirt and crap in them, and these are places the blower canât reach properly nor get the junk out anyway.
Works great on shitty work trucks no one cares about though.
đź blowing out your gutters that's a new one great idea. I use my blower to dry off my car for ages. In fact there are some stubby nozzle attachments for popular blowers just for car use.
I also use the blower to get a bonfire going. Back draft effect.
Thatâs a great idea! I love it
@@SilverCymbal feel free to sub too my page too. Keep up the good work
Nothing at all like a back draft.
The Country Cottage Gardener *wind driven effect
I always do it its the best, always better when you got lots of red embers.
Holy Shabingus! Some of these are actually pretty useful lol!
Great ideas!!!
I use mine to blow my motorcycle off after I wash it.
It gets the water out of all the little nooks and crannies where rust can start.
Great idea, they are really tough to dry by hand and probably impossible without doing what you said. Thank you
great ideas, I'm going to use them and I'm gonna try that on my wood workshop. Doors and windows. Hope it works sawdust you know thanks
I have worn out three leaf blowers doing all of this. Two lengths of downspout and two elbows and you can clean the 2nd. story gutter with out duck tape.
Getting rid of frogs and snakes in the garden. :D
You sir are the king of all dads
Thank you
All the things you can dry with a leaf blower wow!
I have battery blowers and when I cut pvc or wood with my power circular saws or hackzawls instead of the dust and debris coming at me as I cut, I place a blower on a fairly low setting behind me or off to the side pointed at the work (a bit higher target than the actual cut works best as the stuff kicks up so you want the breeze aimed a little higher to catch the bulk as it blows). It does not need to be right behind the actual cut work, or too close to you as the operator of the saw/ tool where it could be in the way and bump you. It can instead be positioned off to the side and angled aiming at the work. Just so the blower flow is blowing at the work and away from you. The dust goes in one controlled direction. Obviously on a windy day, pick the right direction to set up your work. This is strictly an outdoor diy hack suggestion.
Nice job MacGyver!!!!!
Thank you my friend!
Nice tips thank you.
We used one at work blowing dust and debris off our boilers which were three stories high
You missed a few.... Very common in certain vocations...
Blowing off equipment, combines, forage harvesters, tractors, planting equipment, semi trucks and trailers, grain and seed storage bins and buildings, hay yards and barns, we even blow out our shop a few times a year....
Equipment is done each day when we are servicing it.
We've actually upgraded to a 180 cubic foot per minute industrial air compressor for most of it, but some things, such as the shop, or fanning a fire, require a gentler tool... Such as a leaf blower đ
Good video! Some of us take for granted that we already know what can be done... Others just need a little hint..
Great ideas and comments. You put it perfectly for those of us that use these tools daily. Well said, thank you for watching and best wishes to you
Hey, you made the video.. đ
I don't do that.. I just watch... And sometimes learn.. lol thank you!!
Some good hacks! Thanks
Thank you as always LA my friend!
Great info...Thanks
You bet!
This guy is amazing... he knows how to blow
On clothes dryers, disconnect the exhaust trap. Then, using an electric leaf blower (battery powered or corded) blow the vent pipe. Reduces the build up of lint. It reduces the risk of fire. It allows you to have a more efficient dryer.
I also like the lint remove the trap from the dryer and clean that area as well.
I use mine to get my charcoal hot in seconds
I burned out a stump in a few hours, I think I had it up above 1000f you could see the stump âmeltingâ away. On the back side I noted the stump was disappearing even though I couldnât see flames, when I looked closer I saw blue flames curling around the edge.
A must to dry your motorcycle lots of hard to get areas
I love your videos my friend. I'm just like you when it comes to the way you do things around the house. Keep up the great work. I'm 66 years old and I've been very handy around the house thanks to my dad. He owned a Hardware Store since 1955 and taught me electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanics, etc. That being said, you get a big thumbs up from me.
BTW, I'm a retired Printing Press Electrician.
Thank you thats great to hear. You can save a lot of money doing things yourself and even small tips like these can help get you there. Thank you for the comment and watching my videos.
IV noked wing's off a hornet also lol
Forgot to Dry up the sky ! đ
Yeah. I'm going to stay at a resort where there's a guy outside my room with a leaf blower at 6am getting rid of the morning dew on the patio furniture.
Say whatever you want but that is done all the time. First time I saw this was at Disney.
@@SilverCymbal I know. I was just joking.
Man my wife thought I was nuts years ago using the leaf blower to blow dry the durango after a good warsh!!!!
Cleaning the truck, don't knock it till you try it. You can wipe the dash with a soft broom and let it rip.
OOOOHHHHHHH!!! So I can DRY THINGS off with it!!! oooooohhhhhhhhh!!!!! I GET IT NOW!!!!
I use mine on the floors in my workshop.
Makes quick work for that job I bet, great idea. Thank you for watching.
Leaves was not the original concept behind these things, originally these blowers were for spraying fruit trees, later landscapers just turned off the chemicals and started blowing leaves, the manufacturers then took notice and started manufacturing/marketing them without the sprayer function.
Hook it to a burn barrel it burns fast and hot
That's a great idea, like a build your own blast furnace, nice!
That's how I start my grills and smokers
Thatâs to much air.... I hooked a bounce house blower to a burn barre. Turns the barrel into a furnace, no smoke, extreme temps. No pissed off neighbors
Screw drying....i substitute my vacuum for the blower indoors..the dust stand no chance

I did my vehicle with leafblower. sadly all my dirt crumbs ended up in sticky cupholders.....Clean sticky spots 1st... "i have 3 children and they know how to make sticky"
So Clean stickies before or else you will have to clean sticky with dirt in it!
Is the background music a g-n-r tune?
I really want to buy one, but I only need it to blow the grass clippings off the walkway after mowing. Probably I'll just go to Harbor Freight and get one for fourty something dollars.
Using a leaf blower inside a newly constructed residence after sheet rock has been finished and before switch plates are on wall and receptacle plates are on the wall and the home is still empty. Open windows on one side of the home place fan or fans blowing toward open windows use leaf blower and blow everything down and out toward the the fans and out the open windows be sure to blow out switch plates and receptacles. You will reduce the dust in your new home dramatically.
Nice car
Thank you
What song?
I use mine to clean up all pebbles from my yard its like they fall from the sky .
Just blew that glitter all over everything in side the truck...
Sharp eyes! I would say it's long gone, I see no more.
I thought the same thing, that stuff is hard to get rid of.
Whoah. Add to that: clean out the house, the workshop, and get rid of spider webs. And put on a tube to do all the gutters.
Now drying the car part you got rember own blower, the exhaust goes through the blower tube also,
Not on my blowers! You need a better one!
Hey you stole my idea bud but yet since i never posted it I'm gonna let it slide
You are too funny! Thank you đ
Cool hacks, but actually more interested in the music! What piece is this, and by whom?
Thank you very much the audio is : Thinamajog Audanix - czcams.com/video/aocn1EI6OH8/video.html - Thanks for watching.
Lift off and land on the person on ground .....great
Drying the grass?
lol yes
Love that fresh turd in the background when blowing out the gutter
My garage flooded I pushed thousand s of pounds of water out in about or two up hill then got pallets for next time neighbor said u can't blow water then came out yelling wen she saw it all moving fastly down driveway in a hurricane
I bring my backpack blower to the grocery store with me to dry off my wet shopping cart during a rain.
Due to high gas prices you can take your dog for a joyride. Set the leaf blower on your workbench roll down the passenger side window as usual and put your dog in the car (the dog gets confused because the scenery doesn't change and you're not in sight). Wait till it stops blowing and let them out of the car.
Warning: One time I had been drinking and decided to mess with Pepper ( my Dalmatian dog ), after being out of sight a few minutes I snuck my hand through the garage door and started flickering the lights and banging on a cooking pot, Pepper messed everywhere inside the car, except the dashboard. đź The joke was on me.
THIS IS THINGS I WOULD DO AND GREAT VIDS YO IF EVRY MALE ISNT SUBBED TO THIS GUYZ PAGE U SLEEP CAUSE WE MEN WILL BE BLESST WTH THESE THNGS IN LIFE AND THIS GUY IS REALLY HELPIN ME CAUSE I GOTTA DO SOME OF THESE SOME DAY HA CAUSE I SINT PAYIN NO SORRY BUSINESS CAUSE THEY JUS DOIN IT FOR CHECK BUT THE HOME OWNER WILL MAKE SURE THAT ITS DONE WTH ZEAL HMM
When I get sweaty from blowing leaves, cleaning gutters and such, I blow dry my hair. SMH
I'll bet if you put the blower up to one ear
The air will come out
The other. Looks like you have alot of company.
Genius, now all the sand and crap that was on your floor is now on your dash in your vents in your seats.....
Nice
Great! It will blow all the shit and junk mail my wife stuffs in the door pouches and between the seats out on the driveway where it belongs.
Best comment of the week! I love it.
I use my blower to blow all the shit out of my shop vac filter
the only way your ideas work is if you use an air filter where it sucks in the air, carbon filter and stagger them if u use more than one, the filter with .02 microns works but couldvtax heavily your hack because of air flow
For snow removal attach an Air Jet Shovel to a Leaf Blower. Air Jet Shovel blade scrapes snow and ice from drive or walkway while air blast from leaf blower lifts and blows snow away. See video
czcams.com/video/JzwlYMqM9nI/video.html
I'd never use it inside my vehicle - not all of the debris & sand particles are gonna go out the other side - some are gonna find their way into places you don't want them.
Cut your dusting now IN HALF!! Just bring it inside and DUST-B-GONE!!
I'm sorry, we're meant to blow leaves not water.
Nope this isn't Leaf Blowr Revolution tips. Thanks for the video regardless.
you forgot blowing snow
My EMS company got a leaf blower just to dry the ambulance off, as for the leaves? Who cares about leaves, the wind will blow them away.
Dude...if youâre actually drying your lawn so that you can mow it, youâve got to think seriously about opening up your schedule a bit....sheeesh.
Okay, really? Blow drying your lawn? Ha ha ha! Now the truck wash drying & blowing out the cab thats great. And for the downspout, you forgot one of 2 things. Speaking from personal experience, you need either a tarp or an umbrella! Ha ha ha
I urge people to NOT BLOW THE INSIDE OF YOUR CAR!!
BAD IDEA!
Much of that debris on the floor will end up in you a/c vents and in EVERY nook and cranny of your interior.
Just vacuum your floor.
some hack is so unsustainable....use fuel to dry the grass....what about the old fashioned sun rays?or the car...uncommentable
Could have been a 1 minute video
Music is so annoying!!!
My early days on YouTUbe....I moved away from this later,. hopefully the message is still helpful.
Hhahaaa - You do not know what leaves look like ! PS blowing debris into your car and around is not cleaning it !! Hahhaaa
In Massachusetts, we know plenty about leaves. czcams.com/video/FFkppaSxoUo/video.html Car started off dirty, was clean when done. Good enough this neighboorhood.
