I’m a native of coastal Georgia, who loves the Traditional style with a twist of Cozy. Many of my new neighbors are from the northeast and have retired on the north Florida, SEGeorgia coast. They decided to try the Coastal style and I am able to thrift their discarded treasures. I’ve lived in several central and eastern states and always gravitate to the Traditional style. It’s just so comfortable.
Lady, you amaze me! Moving the grandfather clock..you are not going to wait for anyone for help. I just love your home so much, it is so warm and inviting.

Quick question- why would you place the grandfather clock over the air vent on the floor???
Also, the store you went to had lovely items however, they were astronomically expensive. It’s nice if you can afford a $125 dish or a $6500 cabinet. It is too rich for most of us, but it is nice for those that can afford it. 😊 love your lovely home and decorating tips! Thanks for your videos! ❤️
I was also wondering about the clock over the floor vent. I would think it would not be safe or good for the clock.

I love the little effort to make a moment special.
I once heard this analogy,that I prefer to think of ,when becoming forgettable. As we age,so does our brain become more congested with memories,acquired information,ect. That it takes alittle longer,to find room for a momentary thought . Hence,our brain is like a computer,and sometimes it has to be rebooted,or more memory added,🥰 Thank you , for another calming video,to start my day with. PS: I also , am a English porcelain Dog collector,( I love them).

You can tell Willow is a sweet, gentle dog. When the car drove past your home, she didn't charge at the window! I like to move furniture around too, but when I come home from work, they magically returned to their original place. Ben is a good guy! Love, love your purchases. Glad you chose the ceramic dogs.

Linda, I love when you go consignment shopping. I love it too! I have been collecting anything dog related for over 51 years now. My collection started when my aunt from Ireland gave me my first little dog figure. I couldn't believe that you were moving your grandfather clock by yourself. Just don't hurt yourself. BTW, did you place it over a heating register? Will that hurt the clock if so? I would hate to see anything happened to that beautiful clock. Keep showing us all your treasures and finds.
I also questioned the placement, perhaps the heating register is not functioning and therefore useless. ?

Cute strainer, 2 decades ago I ran across one that size in copper with brass handles. It sat beside my kitchen sink for years. Now I want to find it and polish it up so I can enjoy it again.
I love your big basket. I use something similar to fill my fireplace for summer months... usually filled with faux spirea.
Thanks for all the inspiration you give us. Ive been bogged down in outdoor work for weeks. I love being outdoors in spring, but I get behind on housework during this period. I cleaned and put out a few things for Easter some of which are still out.
You inspired me to want to rearrange furniture, dust and make my house fresh.💖

I learned how to wind our inheritance clock from one of your videos, I didn't even know the glass front opened( till i saw you open yours) and I got close and saw the hinge on the side.. amazing it still had the key!! thanks Linda!!!🎉 Ours is a Regulator A.

Linda, I think you have a Flylady duster with those purple feathers. I use her cleaning system all of the time. The dusters are made in Lebanon and are hard to get. Enjoy‼️❤️

The dog statue is so beautiful!! Maybe I missed Ho much you paid for that. My favourite thrift is are pretty much anything dog related. I have a Bloodhound, and my favourite find is a large reproduction painting of “Dignity and Impudence “ by Sir Edward Henry Landseer 1839. I just love it!

Oh my gosh, that large print that you were putting in your car brought back so many fond memories. My mom had that in the dining area of our kitchen for years. I’ve always loved it, I wonder if she still has it. Will you be using it in Sugarwood?

I love all the items you bought. I am always making sure things are set just right. I dont call it a disorder, though. We live in a time when being meticulous, striving for balance, doing many tasks and changing from one to the other are all disorders. I reject that idea and think those are assets.

Enjoy your videos each week and had to binge watch them as I discovered your channel this winter. We have so many interests and pleasures in common, I feel I've definitely found a kindred spirit. I live in Bennington,VT and travel through many of the towns you visit and mention as places of interest. I too, garden, cook, decorate/design and quilt, along with visiting antiques shops and most of all love thrifting and filling my 1790 home with treasures! Enjoyed your "moment" as it happens to all of us that have a creative mind that is always in motion. Great haul! I too have an ostrich feather duster! I love the dogs❤ I have a collection of about 5 or 6 that my grandmother had. She worked in a fine department store here in Cincinnati called Shillitos and then Pogues! She purchased them, in their fine china collectibles department. They are a treasure to me 😊

Really enjoyed seeing all of your consignment finds! Love the beautiful ostrich feather duster! I could play with that all day just for the fun of it! When I was young I always wished I could have one (or two!) of those giant Las Vegas showgirl Ostrich feather fans to dance around with like Rosemary Clooney in the movie White Christmas! Ostrich feathers are just so fun and magical! I'm almost 74 and I still think they'd be fun! You made me chuckle when you couldn't think of colander!!! LOL I do that quite often myself! Glad you didn't edit it out! lol The black metal cones actually jogged my mind to remember that I have a similar brass one from the late 70's that I used to have on the brick wall behind our woodstove. I think I will dig it out and give it a black spray and reuse it with some greenery. Thanks for the inspiration! 😊 ~M~

At 5:50 ( where you're moving the clock ) there was some sort of interference whereby the visual part stops and the sound track continues. I thought it was my computer at first but after watching some other videos on Utube with no problem, I came back to yours, and the same thing happened, I managed to skip ahead and finish the rest of it. Myrtle topiary just lives water, I have 2 by the
sink and everyday they get a drink, I've had them 3 weeks and have given them 2 "haircuts" 😂

I have a collection of Staffordshire dogs (like the ones in the antique store) and the two you picked up I have in a needle point picture, I love them all! Great video as usual, and I empathized with your memory loss, lol its happening to me all the time at the moment ( this menopause brain is infuriating) ❤
Your “moment “ had me cracking up. My “moment “ was at Christmas several years ago. I was getting ready to drain the water of the potatoes and couldn’t think of the name “Colander “ to save my life ,so I asked my daughter” where’s your bowl with the holes in it ?” Oh my ! Everyone was cracking up and have never let me forget it ! Blessings to you.

Linda, here's a suggestion for the square wreath. Find a wooden frame that you love that the interior measurements are 2-3 inches wider than the outside of the wreath and hang the frame around the wreath to make it larger.
