Good job! Minus you saying "Hookie Doos" a thousand times.
Thank you!
Very proffessional video. The mechanic was great. He spoke clearly without any background music and videographer was excellent. Thanks
Best video I've found for the driver door replacement. You make it look so easy! Great job. Thank you.
What a clear, concise video. An excellent “how to” video. Thank you!!!!
+Brent Toepfer Thanks for the feedback! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Very nicely done straight to it does Not waste my time being cute as so many do. Very professional, I hope these guys make a lot more videos.
I want to thank you for making such a great video! You explain things very well, concisely not a bunch of other BS with it. This is a first for me, removing the door panel, but you make it look pretty straight forward. I like figuring out how to fix my stuff and I have worked in the construction trades, so I have some ability & smarts. plus when you've drive a few POS cars lol, you learn a couple things. thanks again!
Thanks for the help. Great job man.
Thanks for this video. Just installed my new door handles and the video really helped me out.
excellent and to the point, a real time saver, thanks !
Fantastic. Thank you!
Good job sir
Followed your video for an 07 Silverado. On my follow through there were a couple of unessasary steps and an easy workaround. (My paneling has signs of having been removed by the previous owner, so maybe some of the spots are broken on mine, maybe not)
- the bolt behind the lock was not attatched to any of the paneling.
- the bolt on the underside attaches the paneling to the side pocket, and does not connect to the frame.
- for the foreward most bolt on the exterior door handle I found using a gear wrench made it pretty easy to manipulate
-on the control box there is a metal clip in the back, and a plastic plug screw on the front (I think I snapped the front plastic peice, not sure how I would have gotten it off otherwise) the back metal clip came off with some careful prying.
The video is great, perfectly descriptive and I would have been fumbling in the dark without it, thanks.

great show great video Thanks
You did a. Great video. Thank you
Great tutorial!
Great video!
Good job. Thanks!
Thanks!
Nice job
Terrific! I'm a 65 year old grandmother and this video was so clear and easy to understand that I easily (relatively speaking) replaced my door handle. It would be nice if you could list the tools you need ahead of time.
does the locking rod Strat up and down or does it under the handle rod
Yep, perfect!… thanks!
Informative video, but did I miss you taking the first screw out of the door handle which you stated would be the hardest to remove? 🤔
What if the red piece that hooks to the key bob breaks
Hooky due, got it!!!👍🏼
so mine was missing the nuts that hold the handle to the door and I can't find anywhere what size they are to buy them some where do you have any ideas on what they might be?
Did you ever figure out what nuts you need I have a 2004 Silverado with a missing nut on the driver's side
Sure would be screwed if you didn't have a "little pocket screwdriver."
Thank you on doing it on the classic model my truck is a 2007. It appears the model switched mid year. Makes CZcams videos harder to find the ones I need. Just broke mine this morning. Doors froze shut.
+Troy eager Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
@@TRQ thank you. Some of us have no choice but to try to fix it ourselves. I would gladly pay for the repairs. But poor man has poor ways!
Change mine on a 2005 cadillac escalade thanks 👈💯
Place a small towel or rag down and place the new handle on it.
Lol, I like how you skipped past breaking the clip on the door module.
You broke that expensive window switch. You do not pry them out the door panel has to come off then unplug it all while leaving the window control in the panel.
“ Let’s get back to the vericle”
Someone had broken alot of hooky dues.
They just put silicone to due it back😅
Get that hookiedoo on there right!
Lol the video would have been three times as long if you showed us taking that 10 mm bolt off the inside. I said the hell with it and just took the window out along with all its trim
What a crap video, this guy just busted the threaded plastic hole that holds the door locks, window controls etc..., there is a small 7 mm screw nut that is on the front of the switch control you can only get too from the inside of the door panel, you can see the screw threads sticking up just as he removes the electric plug for the power windows...
Love the HookieDoo.slang.TY.very helpful
hmm not the year im looking for ughh looking for 99 gmc sierra sle
you are doing this wrong lol your doing it the hard way .
