As a huge H3 fan I have to massively disagree far to often does the crew not speak up. On top of this the crew as a whole is usually massively misinformed or simply have no idea what they are talking about. I love H3 and watch every pod but these have been my two biggest complaints for years at this point. Dan is the only one to speak up and it’s beyond rare when it does happen.

Olivia is actually correct! I took ASL for 3 years and a big part of the curriculum was learning abt deaf culture. A lot of people within in the deaf community do not consider being deaf a disability, and if given the opportunity, would not choose to be able to hear.

Hey totally love the podcast, long time listener. I'm a special educator and what Olivia says is very true. A large majority of Deaf and Blind individuals do not view themselves as people with a deficit and would not take the opportunity to get either sense. For example, getting a cochlear implant is an highly debated topic in the Deaf Community. Also, as someone who drives around a kiddo in a wheelchair from time to time, there might be a lot of handicap spots but not nearly enough are van accessible. I have a ramp that rolls out and needs the spots with a striped space next to them but sometimes people will park there and then I have to double park to make sure there's room to get my kiddo out. Definitely didn't feel like you were being offensive or anything, just wanted to share. Great moves keep it up!

As a VIP (visually impaired person) who has been losing sight since birth, I can explain te “blindness” questions.
The people who who born blind are the ones who tend to say that they would not want sight if they could have it. The idea is abstract and almost unnecessary.
Blindesscan appear in someone’s life at many ages. For these people, they tend to wish more than anything that they could wake up &see the same as everyone else.
It’s interesting the way it differs from other senses such as daffness. One who is deaf is able to see the world they are missing out on. The long to experience the world as others do. Blindness can be very isolating and lonely, but it can also be comfortable for someone who knows no other way.

I'm from Alabama and grew up just an hour from Helen Kellers home. She wasn't born blind and deaf but lost both her hearing and sight at a very young age, and the breakthrough moment wasn't an apple but water from a well pump. Her parents were wealthy and they hired a private teacher Anne Sullivan to work tirelessly with Helen trying to achieve any possible breakthrough where she could associate objects with words, Sullivan would sign using sign language into Helens hand. The breakthrough came while fetching water from a well, Helen was letting the water run over her hands and Sullivan began signing the word water into Helens hand. Helen made the connection between what Sullivan was doing with the water and instantly started wanting to know the word for everything she could touch. Keller was truly a remarkable person who later went on to graduate from college and became an advocate for all sorts of causes. In a state such as Alabama, outside of our college football teams we have virtually nothing else to be proud of, so Helen Keller is revered and her story is very well known by every kid educated in our public school system.

I fractured my coccyx bone and it bothered me for years. To the point where I couldn’t sit down for more than 10 minutes. I finally went to the chiropractor and it was a fucking miracle. Doctors told me they couldn’t do anything, well the chiro adjusted my bone physically over a period of a few weeks and had me do exercises. This was 3 years ago and I haven’t had a problem since!

Ethan deleted the Peterson podcasts for less, but he's so easily persuaded by the popularity of Hasan's Tate stream. I feel pretty depressed about the whole thing bc I've experienced more sexual harassment at a higher rate recently, and it feels really demeaning - makes me feel like I'm not a human being. Then I come to this podcast for distracting goofs and gaffs and instead I'm confronted with Tate's bs every episode. His idiocy is not worth platforming or debating and his fanbase is only growing from it, bc the viewers who already have biases against women are only convinced or entertained by Tate and not his 'opposition'. Not to mention, no tater tots watch H3 anyways, so all this does is attract them over here to harass women who are actually H3 fans in the comments, for mild entertainment.
My main complaint is that I want to watch the show - I look forward to it every time. But I'm not going to be able to watch anymore if they keep doing segments on misogynists bc it's having an effect on my mental health. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Great podcast guys! I must say I’m not a fan of entertaining Andrew Taint. Would I still watch and support the show? Of course! But it would be disappointing.
No amount of challenging him or embarrassing him will get him to change his ways or lose the fans he has. All it would do, at most, is create possible viral moments for right minded people to laugh at while opening the doors for even more incels to follow him.
I just ask you guys to consider if owning and embarassing Andy Taint is more important than the women who may get hurt in the process by his violence and increasing exposure for him to potentially gain more fans.

Asshams "empirical evidence" is extremely flawed, insurance company data is only based on vehicle accidents and says nothing about which drivers get things correct the most
It's also doesn't take into account the vehicles each gender drives (18 wheelers, dump trucks, tow trucks, etc), which gender has more CDL's, the weather conditions each gender was driving in, and many accidents aren't reported to insurance companies so the data is undeniably flawed in an argument like this. If Tate prepared himself even a little before speaking to him he could have brought these things up, but he didn't. Either way to anyone who knows how to properly dissect peoples arguments could have thrown that back at him easy, instead Tate fell back on "I've never been in a car accident with a man" which prolly just isn't true, but it doesn't make his point any less correct and Asshams wrong

I think from their response we can see the futility of the matter. Tate and the rest are deeply insecure people, and similarly, the people on the fence about them will be deeply insecure too. You don't watch that sort of thing if everything is all good upstairs. Trying to change a deeply insecure person's opinion through argument is damn near impossible. Their minds will come up with whatever mental gymnastics it needs for them to say to themselves they're correct.
