This is such an amazing epiphany for Hughie to have within his arc in this season. He spends a large portion of it angry that he can't do more and that everyone keeps benching him, but he doesn't understand that he is valued for different reasons. The reason Annie loves him, and heck the reason Butcher loves him too, is because he doesn't want blood on his hands, and that he values the humanity in other people. He's just as strong as them, only in a different way.

"Remington Steele". That's hilarious. "Remington Steele" was produced by MTM Enterprises, whose back library is owned by the Walt Disney Company through its 20th Century Television subsidiary. If anything, I'd think the reference would be "Hart to Hart", which was produced by Sony Pictures Television (called Columbia Pictures Television at the time). Actually, it could be "Hart to Hart" or "Charlie's Angels" both of which were produced by Columbia Pictures Television.
