The FBs have some nice diversity to them in terms of ground attack. Janus is the strongest non ASF fighter in the game (not the most efficient), just barely beating out the Notha. A clump of Janus or Nothas can defend themselves against a reasonable number of ints and a few early ASF.
Janus: Massive AOE damage, but very poor direct damage against a single ground target. 2 Scorchers hit an ACU harder than a Janus. Don't build Janus if you want to snipe something small like an ACU. Depending on the situation, they can be competitive with strategic bombers for carpet bombing armies or bases even in the late game.
Notha: The best single target bomber of the bunch. It drops one big bomb and hits very hard, but is the most dodgeable by an ACU. Best used for sniping important targets.
Corsair: Micro makes or breaks the Corsair. Well controlled Corsairs are particularly good at killing mobile flak and sniping cruisers. Also a common ACU killer since the missiles are hard to dodge in larger numbers.

I hate that the Janus's wings fold in when maneuvering because that is the *opposite* of how that works

I do a few squads of labs to start while unit numbers are low. Micro then round a few engineers while I transition to tanks. Works sometimes haha 😆

Notha will reliably 2 pass any t2 eco building, doesn't do anything extra to shields
