Now do it again, but this time calculate the mass fabs including the shield generators that you need to protect them from artilery and including the overhead of protecting it from bombers as well, and also controlling the land mass. etc. etc. etc. The bois on the other hand are chunky and can save you if push comes to shove, you can even send them to build a forward position or something. They are vastly superior for many reasons

Idk why but for me no matter how much priority you put into uef air and econ for it. Your units still take forever. Tier 2 fighterbomber 2 minutes no matter what

Had a team back then, one person specialized building Aeon Paragon for the team. He could build one in 35 minutes from the start of the game. Then he became the santa klaus for the team, sending resources like crazy, while building another Paragon for the team.

Are they bad or are they just different? An open map is going to bias certain strategies just as much as a "closed map" is going to bias others. Would you rather have only "good" maps or all kinds of maps? Also, corridors are fun. Static structures tend to suck in every RTS game because "balance". Imagine having a map where people don't just walk around them.

Aeon tech 2 is the best t2 land

I play all factions and aeon is a great faction for larger maps, the czar is amazing for suicide dumping half a dozen on a acu and slow but useful for base busting. The infinite gen is great but takes forever to rush build. Basically defense then offense class. The range is great but seems smaller in lower tiers. The experimentals are more for slow spread or defense

Its basically a bombardment but low defense. The satellite, leviathan, and the t1 anti air is great! Low defense, great shields, low dps but massive stacking damage. Nomads satellite is unkillable and the exp transport is amazing with the beamer. I turtle and reinforce my main bases while I spam navy and t1 anti air. It's a great class for slow spread. Slow start, meh mid game, after you get t.3, build eco aecus and cap mass. The end game is amazing and rivals uef and cyban artillery. It's weakness is air, why you should stack t1 land anti air units, as well as air sups. I will say the satellite is broken, but a worthy end game for purging land. The class needs support more than other exps

That Yolana Os explosion is amazingly satisfying to see though.

I played the campaign at one point and was on a certain mission for way longer than the game expects and i actually witnessed a interger overflow in the end screen stats for Energy i believe.

Neroxys map generator was the best thing to happen to FAF. But dammit not enough people use it nowadays

Way back in the day lu xun had a video analysing an open palms game and he (probably) coined the phrase "ACU Golden Age". It was this period of time between 1 star and 5 star vet where you ACU would continually overcharge everything it came across and be an absolute menace, easily outvaluing almost any amount of T1 or even T2 units coming towards him. This was un-upgraded, and it would only get worse with supporting spam and extra upgrades. Still applies, even if the favoured meta nowadays is just upgrade the hell out of your com, even if you barely plan on using it.
