This was a wonderful wip and chat Katie! I loved hearing your answers to all the tag questions. Here are some of mine: I prefer round drills but if I love the artwork will also do square, my favorite accessory is scented wax and I probably have over 100 different scented waxes. I have been diamond painting for about 4 years but for some reason didn't get obsessed with it until this past summer. Prior to this summer I did a lot of crochet and cross stitch but now I don't have time for that because I love diamond painting so much! I would have to say that Diamond Art Club is my favorite company because you just can't beat their prices, quality, customer service and consistency. I also diamond paint at my dining room table! My favorite types of diamond paintings are portraits and I also love muted tones but sometimes really enjoy a really colorful diamond painting as well. I also section my DP with washi. :)
I also wanted to add that you were the first DP channel that I found on youtube and from the first video I was absolutely hooked. I feel like you are the kind of person that I would be friends with, you are just so kind and sweet and I love your videos so much. I am subscribed to many DP channels but you are still my go-to. I also love Bev, Laura, Rachael Rae, etc.

Hoping there are restocks at DAC for Black Friday. New to the craft and missed the launch of Capricorn by Josephine Wall. Snagged my hubby’s but need mine to with it!!
I can feel for your little fella. I suffered from ear infections and ruptures as a child (still have them as an adult). It is a miserable ache and there ain’t a thing you can do about it. Of course, back then they didn’t do tubes as early as they do now. Had mine at 8 (so I remember) and had a three day stay at the hospital!! My girl baby had them twice, so I understand it from the mama side as well. Love and snuggles to him!!

I loved watching you work on this canvas. I enjoy the colors in that area. You sure do like dreamy images. I love seeing your unboxings from diymoonshop since they are so different from the canvases I choose. I also like details thus I like confetti best. You are expert at multiplacing in a horizontal direction. Wow.

I also have the same kit you’re working on but from Mary’s diamonds and I got it in 60x80cm BUT it’s one from their first rounds of kits. Haven’t pulled it out of my stash since unboxing it a year and a bit ago 🤭

I too am in love with diamond painting. I used to cross stich years ago, but my eyes can't do it any more. I loved it, but like you said - It takes more concentration. So I'm also a single craft girl and diamond paint in every spare moment of the day. Love it. I started less than a year ago and have all the 'stuff" too!

Omg so I discovered d.p the same way but dac came up on my facebook where you could get the free kits so I tried to get them but I could not change the state part of my address from ca to az. Then a week later I was able to so it worked and those where my first kit. However it took me 2 weeks of searching everything I could about the craft before I would start. So yeah I found it in 2020 on a time laps video on d.p on fb.

Got a new pen in the mail
I have more questions! Do you work on one painting at a time?? What do you do with all your finished paintings? How do you store ones that are in progress??
Ooh, good questions! I usually just have one kit going at a time, but when I've taken on large-scale, long term projects, I'll often have 2-3 kits going at once!
I store all of my finished paintings either in a large artist portfolio or rolled back up in the box they came in. And since I usually just have 1-2 WIPs going, I just store them flat on my desk!
Could you possibly talk about different waxes and putty’s? I keep struggling with all the different waxes due to climate reasons and I place it in the freezer.
