Welcome to my Year in Review of 2021! I'm so excited to share my gallery of finished diamond paintings for the year. This was my first FULL year of diamond painting, and I was thrilled to complete 39 kits! I hope you enjoy a snapshot of each of these kits, starting with the beginning of the year. Wow. How do you diamond paint 🎨 that fast ? Starting and Completing a kit every nine days 🤯, especially while working and raising a family. Are you secretly Superwoman 🦸♀️ 👏

Oh gosh, I hadn't even thought of the math that way! Some of the kits were smaller 😅 But otherwise, it's because I'm a stay-at-home mom (or work-at-home, if you count CZcams as a "job") and diamond painting is my main/only hobby, so I spend multiple hours a day on it, usually. Also, multiplacing efficiently has been a gamechanger!
I am blown away by that, too. I can finish about 24 a year and do one large and a few 30x40 in between to get those numbers. She does mostly enormous paintings with tons of confetti. So impressed.

I have really been slacking on my diamond paintings in 2021. This year I am going to try and do better. For me diamond painting is part of my self care and one of my goals is to take time to do more things that bring me joy. All of your painting were beautiful. Thank you for sharing all of them.

What a gorgeous collection of paintings. For 2022 I'm going to start diamond painting and have started my first one already. 2021 was all about cross stitch roses and foxes.

Katie, this is amazing and you should be so proud of all you have accomplished along with having a real 24/7 job as well! I feel like I am fast and extremely proficient with multi- placing. I spend 12-18 hours each day of my weekends and any off days. I literally have no life except DP and it still takes me about 6 weeks to complete a 90x70ish. Wow! I kinda feel like I need to bow down to the Queen of Diamond Painting!

What a fun and productive year! I would have guessed that the dragon door or pirate draglings was your favorite 😍 This year I’m eager to do kits from some new-to-me companies (DIYmoonshop!) and to hopefully make a dent in my ever growing stash.

Love this video Katie! It's awesome to see all the finishes one after another. I managed 41,but only 15 is bigger ones,the rest are some special drills dp and loads of 30x40 cm ones.
I so enjoyed this video and seeing all of your completions this year. I just started Oct ‘21 so only 1 finish but have 5 wips so learned from that. My 2022 plan is to finish those and have fun but also to complete a JW from DPD by the end of year as well

ABSOLUTELY amazing. Thankyou so much for sharing your accomplishments with us. As someone else said, it shows us what the finished product looks like, so therefore we can decide if we would like to complete them also. Seeing them on the web site isn't the same as when you show them live. I now have a few that I was humming and hahring about. (not sure how to spell that, but I hope you know what I mean) Now I know for certain that they are beautiful and worth getting. Thankyou Katie for another year of diamond painting pleasure.

I just watched your entire review. Your interests are my interests and kind of funny ...you pick what I naturally go nuts over. The dragon at the door, just added to my cart now to do for y son as a christmD give next year. It will be my next start. Also you should also know I purchased "Spirit if flight" from DAC after your review. I would very much like to try on of the paintings from the Germany site but over 200 colors not something I can tackle right now as a Canadian healthcare worker. Thankyou so mu h for this review, it has opened my eyes upto other companies, I did not know about. I am a buy only and have only bought from DAC. love DAC they are the best.. but with your review I feel comfortable branching out to other companies for different types of art. Seeking a piece now that I can do for my daughter for Christmas.

I’ve been drooling over Library Version A. I didn’t realize you had done it. I did see your comparison on Black Hole in the Milky Way, which prompted my purchase from Craftibly’s reboot of it. I did actually purchase the Library Version A just after Christmas and it is even more beautiful on camera.

That is so cool for you to have so many finishes. I started dp this past year in April and have finished 26 wow. Go me for being new to dp. I have 2 projects I want to do this year. One is a dp from dp Deutsche zodiac sign and also order new drills for my custom that I had to stop because it had popping drills so bad but unfortunately for me it's gonna cost me more to replace the drills the the whole kit combined. But im gonna do it cause it means a lot to me. Can't wait to see what this years brings in dp. Bye thanks again love your channel.

Wow that was a lot of DP's completed. All are lovely. I have a few pieces in your collection I would pick to do myself. I am working on Alice and Snow White by Jasmine Becket-Griffith (23x31"). This is the biggest one I have worked on. This is from Craftibly and I started it on 12/17/21. I have more than 1/2 completed. Its is so addicting. I go between working on DP's and coloring. I have 3 more of Craftibly to do.
You are incredible at this hobby ... Really shocking how many you completed! I injured my thumb by pressing too hard that I cannot diamond paint for a few months .. be careful everyone, trigger thumb is no joke 😬

Curious, do you have a closset staked a mile high of kitted up proje with labels facing to tell you which is which? You collection is so beautiful, but you have o many started at once during a year I just ordered the dragon at the door from DAC because of your review, but have two large kitted up Italy proje to from DAC, Now I need a new kit for the dragon very soon. Just curious about your closset.

i did complete 8 diamond paintings 2021. The smallest was 40x50 cm, and the biggest was 60x180 cm 😅

For storing finished canvases - anything up to about 60x80cm gets stored flat in a large artist portfolio. Anything larger than that...I'm still trying to come up with a better storage system. For now, they just get rolled back up and put back in the box they came in.
OMG so many gorgeous finishes!! And the majority of them are so big!!! Wow!!! I could never do that. But then again I do a lot of coloring too along with a lot of projects for coloring, etc., so I’m sure I don’t even spend half the time on diamond painting as you do. But even if I did, I know I wouldn’t get them all done. I absolutely adore the Dragon Door (I think it was called) and I now have it in my cart. Congratulations on all the finishes. How do you store all of your large finished canvases? I also have a HAED (well, actually a couple of them - one a little big and one absolutely massive). I’ve only started the smaller one and it’s quite different to do counting where to put the drills rather than having them printed on the canvas. But using Pattern Keeper sure helps. Can’t wait to see you work on yours!!

This was a total eye opener for me. The level of sophistication and your analysis of rendering quality were a whole new window. The German work is something I'm definitely going to check out... but with your level of output you can't convince me you don't have your kids chained in the basement. 😳😁
Haha! No basements in California 🤣 I do take advantage of the time they're in school, and after they go to bed (and sneak in bits of time here and there even when they're home and awake!)

I love your collection of finished DA paintings!! I've made a 'tentative' plan for which paintings I want to work on for each month of 2022! I think I can do it since each month is planned around a particular season/ holiday or planned to be gifted for a b'day! However, I used erasable pen so that I can give myself some leeway to be spontaneous 😁

What do you do with all your diamond paintings when you have finished them? Where do you keep them? Do you give them away or sell them? Which ones do you frame?
Hi there! I store them either flat in a large artist portfolio, or rolled back up in the box they came in. I haven't given away or sold any of my completed projects, and the only one I've framed and hung in my home is the landscape Diamond Dotz one I showed in this video ☺️

I’m sorry about that! The one with the black cat is “Time to Witch” and the Ivy Dolamor witch kit is “Warm Witch.” I knew I was going to get tripped up by those!
