thanks. ESC handles it absolutely fine. Thanks to water cooling it gets just slightly warm.
@@petesgarage4670 you happy with your prop setup? I have a buddy that is looking to run that same motor in his boat….. but it is bigger/not geared towards speed.
@@BriansRCStuff to be honest my boat is totally overpowered with this motor. It was originially designed for heavier Ni-Mh batteries. My 2400mah 3S lipos are much lighter and I had to put approx 300g of weight inside to keep it stable and also for the auto turn over function ( boat automatically turns around if it lands on the back ). I tried 38mm prop ( too small ) and a 42 mm prop. Too much power and engine gets significantly warmer.

..the nose is too high, put some weight infront.
yes the entire boat is too light. It was designed for NiCd cells. Now the lipo‘s are much lighter than the NiCd‘s. I have already put 370g inside so it flips over while it‘s on the back.
