"Think I want a bunch of vengeful Summers coming after me?" He's got a great point. My man is thinking well ahead.
I mean if he probably does, with all those Citadel Ricks he killed...😂
@@ExcelHedgeI highly doubt the Citadel ricks care much about life beyond the citadel....they likely don't give and F about their daughters or grandkids much.
Heck, they "CLONE" their own Mortys, Remember?
That was a finite number of Ricks, so Evil Morty probably take care of those Summers already. Now imagine an infinite amount
I felt a combination of "oh please" because summer is weak and "he has a point" because he will be hindered with pathetic attempts to kill him. But to be fair, he is no Prime Rick or Regular Rick. He won't wipe them out. But he says he can because he is showing mercy and presents that as a threat to leave him alone.
@@BlackDiamond2718 Summer has her badass moments, but she and Rick/Evil Morty are hardly on the same level. I’d be more worried about the Beths. Summer *tries* to pretend she’s like Rick. Beth is essentially like Rick if he wasn’t really *trying.* Just needs something big to piss off/motivate her. Guess Rick is right about one thing. Having Jerry in the mix watered the grandkids down a tad.
I like how Evil Morty took the weapon designs as insurance and not the intent to use it because he knows he'll just create another type of vengeful drunks after his life.
I fully expect the series finale to consist of the omega device being unleashed to destroy everyone, and everything
Sometimes the winning move is not to play.
@@InsanoRider777as stated by Dr Wong
ya but why would summer kill morty for killing rick? sure thats her grandpa but he's her brother too
@@orderflowarchives It's been said throughout the series Summer envies Morty for being able to go on adventures with Rick and was the only one upset Rick gave himself up to the galactic government.
I love how perpetually sick of everyone's shit Evil Morty is in this episode, dude just wants to retire at 14.
I mean I want to retire at 21, so he’s not wrong.
The multiverse is like the abyss. Many Rick’s looked into it, and found freedom from consequences. C-137 looked into it, and saw pointlessness of it, how lonely it could be. Rick Prime looked into it, and saw infinity: endless possibilities. Evil Morty looked into it, maybe after a few adventures, and realized how petty and stupid it all is. Especially the stupid nonsense he has to tolerate with infinity families. I think, what Evil Morty wants, is a clean slate. A separate dimension, normal, peaceful. No chaotic sci-fi nonsense. He finds it stupid, random, boring. He seems to seek peace and normality. Something that many Jerry’s have. Jerry also has the bliss if ignorance, while many other characters are cursed with the knowledge of the multiverse and have become jaded from it.
Yeah he went through his schemes held up his facades and finally got to be done with this bullshit. He really gives zero shits and just sees this all as an annoyance
Yep kid doesn't want anyone on his lawn or he'll unleash hell.

Lol I agree with all of your top comments I just found the evil morty bit a little redundant.
“not exactly an alive amount of blood” maybe the greatest thing evil morty has ever said 😂

That made me laugh 😂

"And they call me evil morty" I felt that.
Evil Morty definitely could have stolen the schematic and killed both Ricks, but he revived Rick and gave him the chance at setting things right with Rick prime. Maybe he isn’t as bad.
I mean the reason "Evil" Morty is evil is he's just sick of everyone's shit. He's not a bad guy, but he just doesn't want to deal with this bullshit anymore.

or he prefers to have an emergency call.
C-137 is the one rick who showed the capacity to grow. He's the one rick evil morty respects.
The fact rick prime was still laughing after being punched shows how much of a maniac and psychopath he is
He thought that he still won in the end because it was the Rick he created that ended up killing him. Like he believed that the only Rick that deserved to be a Rick is the Rickest Rick... and Prime MADE the Rickest Rick.
Irl, it's "copium" for the dude taking the beating. He's getting his ass whooped so thoroughly, it's the only thing he has control over at that point. And it's all about control; control, and "saving face".
He wouldn't want to give Rick the satisfaction of knowing he's in pain.
@@saberserpent1134he's still right prime rick chose this like our rick didn't it was forced on him, there is no amount of beating that will hurt as much as the pain that our rick still feels revenge doesn't take it away
@@delinkwent7375 Agreed. Just saying that people do the same thing in real life situations; especially if they're high on some stimulant. You can beat them into red mush, and they'll keep laughing; it's a defense/coping mechanism, and it takes away the satisfaction of hitting him, at least until the blood gurgling starts.
It was a very realistic scene of someone getting beaten without the ability to fight back.
@@saberserpent1134yeah
Also Rickest Rick didn't find him. Evil morty did imo the "Rickest Morty" because he doesn't care.
EM basically helped alot to find him AND trap him. He outplayed Rick Prime and got him in the chair.
He even says at the start how Rick would feel bad because "Evil Morty helped to find him and he technically owes him credit for the kill".
So Evilist Rick is dead and Evil Morty now has the means to tell people to leave him alone
He won't be using it… anytime soon
To be fair, that's all he said he wanted when he left the first time, was to be free of all of it in the first place.

@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71i mean true but in ways couldnt rick do the same thing if he wanted? in the ep after unity dumped him again, i saw someone say that rick was going to kill every version of himself but passed out. they could be wrong but if not hey
i love when Evil Morty talks about Vengeful Summers how it gives more proof to the fact that a Summer with motivation might truly be the scariest family member.
Whenever given the chance to branch out, Summer always follows through, and tends to naturally rise as a leader whenever Rick is out of service.
Not to mention, she really is the least developed of the main family. One day we may see a Summer become the big bad.
I think he just meant he didn't want to have to kill Summer or the rest of his family.
TBF we already seen a scary Summer with the sleeping versions of the family and that was most likely just a taste of what she could do.
Not a huge fan of her character. Pretty sure the creators know most people aren’t either. She’s in the show just the right amount imo
Its not really about that, but how fucking with infinite universes is just infinite trouble, yes, he can kill all ricks now, but that means that there would be an infinite amount of beths, mortys, summers, and many more after him, and his entire characer is him wanting to be left alone, as far away from rick and his troubles as he possibly can.
@Mr.Traumatizedone could argue it would even make him...a Rick
I do love how Rick is a completely empty shell by the end of this. He wasted his entire live to revenge and now he has nothing. Like, that time lady, she managed to find something to fill the void of her late husband and is healing.
Maybe that's something Rick needs to do.
Rick needs a new Diane
@@xfg007 i feel like that's what the post credits scene was hinting at. him finding someone who has something in common with him and settling down with said person is possibly the next arc in his story.
He has nothing since his wife is gone. Killing Rick Prime wasn't going to completely heal him. All It did is give him the satisfaction of making him pay for his killing his wife
@@melaninking199 did you not see the ending? it didnt even give him satisifaction. he wasted everything, all he can do now is therapy lol
While Prime Rick did make the point that Evil Morty now could theoretically use the reality-erasing device for himself, he didn't consider that Evil Morty has no reason to actually do so.
All Evil Morty wants to do is to be left alone, and not get involved in the endless bullcrap of the multiverse, and especially Rick. Having the ability to permanently erase someone from all realities is just a good deterrant to stop anyone who might (inevitably, considering the infiniteness of said multiverse) get pissed off at him wanting to have his own space.
To the bitter end Rick treated Morty like a Morty. But Evil Morty isn't a normal Morty and that was Rick Prime's downfall.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71yea his arrogance cost him greatly
And even Evil Morty talked about it arrogance is a huge weakness for Rick's they think there so much better then everyone else it doesn't even cross their mind as a conceivable possibility someone else might be smart enough to take him fine
He even says why afterwards. "How's it feel?.... Exactly the same? Yeah, it always does."
There's no catharsis in this for him, he just wants out completely, so that's what he's doing.
I like to think that Rick Prime showed a little humanity right at the end since the last thing he said was "You lived in my house!" and he sounded legitimately furious.
Just shows what a narcissist he is. The house he, you know, abandoned. And then unalived every version of the person he abandoned just so no other rick could be "distracted" or happy. Then has the cajones to be angry about a much more nice and family oriented Rick who was beaten down by him.
nah, he was a complete asshole, he killed his own wife "cross-infinity" even if he did care it would just be childish-narcissism. he's not going to grow as a person because he wouldn't get any close to the concept. he's too far gone
Honestly, I actually really like Evil Morty's logic for not using the weapon to kill Rick. After all, look at what happened to Rick Prime. He killed every version of Diane and it resulted in C137 Rick hunting him to the ends of the curve, leading to his death. Evil Morty is more than aware that using such a weapon isn't going to get the attention off of him. It's just going to get the attention of someone who may be able to kill him.
Yup 100%
If he has to use the weapon he will but he's not going to use it for fun or spite
Unlike Rick Prime
Evil morty is not arrogant he knows eventually someone would kill him if he used the weapon
It's also just how politics works. The WOMD is a deterrent, not something to actually be used. That's how you achieve mutually assured destruction. In Evil Morty's case, a wave of vengeful Summers.
Not to mention he cant use the weapon on a version of himself. If other morties come after him he cant use the weapon on them
Literally verbatim
@kurtpunchesthings2411
My money is on morty prime
He may not be as competent as evil morty but hes come a long way
"Think I want a bunch of vengeful Summers coming after me" The interesting implication of this line is that while Evil Morty would use the weapon on Rick, he wouldn't be willing to use it on summer.
Theres always a bigger fish
well like another commenter said, if he kills the summers, he’d have infinite beths and/or mortys after him, the latter he cant use the weapon on without killing himself (altho he could modify it)
Ultimately Morty's will be after him and his device won't work since he'll also kill himself.
I think people are leaning into the Summer line too much and interpreting it too literally. I think his point lies in the previous statement, that using a weapon like that wouldn't let him be left alone. Rick Prime lived his entire life on the run from vengeful Ricks. Surely deleting anyone across all of existence would render SOMEONE to be vengeful enough to hunt him down for doing so. Whether or not he uses it on Rick, Beth, Summer, Jerry, etc. Someone will always be out for vengeance, and Evil Morty will never truly have peace.
personally, i was kinda expecting a big final fight with the entire family fighting alongside rick to put an end to rick prime, but the use of evil morty instead was actually kinda nice. Overall i liked it, it wasn't anything flashy, just a simple end to rick prime.
Simple?
The fight ending so quickly makes it even better. His whole existence up to this point has been to kill Rick prime, now that he killed him this easily, he doesn’t have a purpose to live anymore. He wasted so many years hunting when he could have gave up and lived with his family, his whole identity had become a hunter. Now that he killed prime Rick, he killed that hunter that he had become, he metaphorically actually killed who he had become
i doubt this will be the last of rick primes story
@@spicydomina2365 it will be. because if it isnt everyone is stopping watching rick and morty, people watch this show cuz its different if it does the classic "you thought he died but hes back!" that every single fucking show does to drag it on a couple more seasons then no ones gonna watch it
@@mandiprai8593even I don't believe prime Rick died that easily, dude was basically unreachable and always prepared
I expected this arc to last for the remainder of the series. It got wrapped up in one episode, and really well too. Rick Prime made the greatest speech when Rick killed him, and he has a point. Wonder where the story goes next.
Doofus Jerry?
No due to this being multiverse everything is canon the creator said so
It ended the most appropriate way that it could in this nihilistic series: Something hyped up as an endgame finale only to become a mid-series footnote that continues the horrific moral that in the grand scheme of things it didn't matter in the slightest... and no one, not even Rick, can endure such a heavy realization.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 Pretty much. I actually wonder if the series ends in a No Country for Old Men fashion - R&M die for the final time, bad guy wins and gets away with everything, all in the darkest comedy possible.

Man, Rick Prime really was Rick’s Joker. This scene feels so much like The Dark Knight interrogation scene: even with all his strength, Rick could do nothing to break Rick Prime. Even as Rick was pummeling him into a bloody pulp, Rick Prime got the last laugh, because he knew that he was the real winner. He turned Rick into another version of himself, and Rick knew it.
You can't break what's already broken. But that can be said to both of them. There's nothing prime can say to Rick they will change anything.
I don’t think that’s what happened. I think that Rick is okay with killing Rick Prime. I think the real pain is that he doesn’t have anything anymore. He killed the one thing that gave his life meaning, after everything else had already been taken.
@@Skyfalcon12345yes but remember rick didn't want any of this he didn't want to be this way prime did his family was still alive he chose this life, but our rick ironically was like simple rick and other ricks dont like that
@@delinkwent7375 basically this. Rick Prime tried to have Rick join the rest of the Rick’s as they explored infinity together. Our Rick passed: he preferred to have a peaceful life with his family. He outright told Diane that getting ice cream would be the last good idea that would be created in that garage. This means he was ready to hang up his lab coat and be a family man. But when Rick Prime killed his original family, Rick shunted himself into the very setting Rick Prime wanted him to. He became the flippant, egotistical god that Rick Prime wanted him to be. T'was to kill his rickest enemy
The dinosaurs were arrogant and loved the smell of their farts. Rick C-137 has shown many times that he loves Morty. The grandson he himself never had a chance have naturally.
It's a brilliant twist you were expecting Rick Prime to be the finale but he's actually just the middle of the season, so we all feel unsatisfied too. It also ties into how the show's gotten a lot more philosophically deep; they're all living with the consequence of their actions, realizing what they actually value, and now a good ole "revenge is hollow."
Well because it is, Revenge is ultimately about self satisfaction. Thinking that it'll fill some empty void and make you feel better. It's ultimately just something to distract you from having nothing and is the ultimate example of living in the past.
As I heard one influential businessman say, "Revenge is a sucker's game."
@@smithydavis1033 "Revenge is ultimately about self-satisfaction." So is forgiveness, so is therapy, and so is all this modern concept of being "emotionally healthy", you said nothing.
@@remiremsar5946 Hey buddy, are you trying to start something?
@@smithydavis1033 F*cking yes, I'm tired of this "Revenge won't bring you peace" bullshit, revenge does bring peace of mind. The only time it wouldn't is if your vengeful acts led someone to hunt you down. But revenge itself brings peace. We're wired to crave vengeance biologically, and once that craving is satisfied, we feel at ease. Psychology is gaslighting the f*ck out of us tho because vengeful seeking behaviour is disruptive in our current justice system (which is nothing but revenge by proxy).
I'm glad Evil Morty hasn't changed one bit. Everyone's saying he's not so bad cause he helped or didn't kill all rick because he's scared of summer. But from the start of the episode its showed that he has no loyalty to them only what he wants. He wanted to live in peace, so he came either to help them or kill them worked. He stayed with them because he was interested in Rick Primes weapon and helping rick defeat him was the best path to that. He outright states he dosent care what happens to morty when he brings him to the fight. After the battle he reminds Morty they aren't friends. It just goes to show that Evil Morty isn't called that because he's tired of rick, but evil because he has no morals. There's no right or wrong when it comes to him just what he wants and what it takes to get it. The only reason he seems like he's not evil is cause his goal was to fuck off somewhere and not be bothered but he was still willing to kill, kidnap and torture thousands to get that. If his plans were more ambitious like taking over the curve or gaining power he 100% would be just as bad as prime rick.
Yep, and that's how I know in principle, evil morty lost. Sure his objective and plan was completed exceptionally well. But he became Rick do it, in principle. He's just like the person he hates the most,Rick. And he will have to live with that.
It's really telling that Evil Morty did in like a few hours what c-137 took over like 10 years to do, sure Rick started it with the whole searching through the central finite curve for every prime rick but Evil Morty was the one to perfect that then find and capture him.
Evil Morty just offered a fresh perspective during the last step of the work. Let's not act like he solved the entire thing himself.
It's less of that, and more like Evil Morty fit with Rick in a way that Rick hasn't fit with any other. Throughout this episode we see Evil Morty and Rick work together to get out of sticky situations that they otherwise would've had far more difficulty doing. Such as the Rick battle Royale, or when it took them 10 seconds to reinvent both of their portal guns to escape their simulated prison. Hell, the entire final battle against Rick Prime is an example of this.
It's not that Evil Morty is smarter. Now that I think about it, it's more like the idea of a Rick and Morry duo pushed to its extreme. Because Evil Morty is...Well...A morty, he thinks differently. And since he's also a super genius like Rick is, whenever they work together they mix together seamlessly. Even though they hate eachothers guts, it's painfully obvious that Evil Morty + C137 are the most powerful force in the multiverse when they work together.
There’s a great Justice league clip where the Flash outsmarts evil Batman
Normal Batman says he never could have escaped because his counter part would have anticipated anything he could have done, but in regards to Barry he says “But who could anticipate you?”

2:08 This moment specifically got me good. Damn good performances.
The Rick is pretty alright but the Morty bothers me a bit. Which is funny cause that's the opposite vibe I got from the trailer.
100% that agonized “You lived in my house!!” is one of the most genuinely affectingly delivered Rick lines of the whole entire series. Once in a while, maybe once per episode of this new season my ear registers an un-Roiland flourish (Morty’s delivery of ‘motherfucker’ in this episode early on is an example), but good grief that’s chump-change compared to how well both guys are selling the voices overall. This death of Rick Prime, a truly standout performance, as good as anything Justin previously managed.
@@spreadwuvokay The more evil Morty talked the less Morty his voice sounded.
@JOESMITH-qs8ue it's okay but it's too cracky.
Gotta love the parallel between how Rick and Morty enacted their revenge and it’s exactly why Evil Morty was so smug watching Main Rick emerge caked in blood.
-Evil Morty knew killing his Rick wouldn’t be the end of his problems, not with The Citadel of Ricks would probably take away his freedom.
-He also knew that his Rick, like most Rick’s, wants to die, so it wouldn’t technically be revenge to put him out of his misery.
-But what’s a more satisfying way to punish Rick Sanchez than to make him subservient to A MORTY of all people?
-And the icing on the cake, giving Main Rick exactly what he wants with the knowledge that it wouldn’t make Rick feel better.
- I mean, that’s how many times have we seen Rick be smug about giving ppl what they want?
-Most importantly, Evil Morty had goals outside of being rid of Rick: to be left alone and have his independence.
-I will say that it’s cool to see Evil Morty acknowledge the difference between his Rick, Prime Rick, and Main Rick.
The net joke got a huge laugh out of me this episode. "Wait here Morty's getting the net"
Probably meant to be some kind of high-tech wire net that you throw over an enemy to disable all cybernetics or something. But I'm imagining Morty running around, trying to catch Evil Morty in a giant butterfly net.
Getting Evil Morty involved in the final showdown is the best decision ever

This episode changed your perspective to Evil Morty's. The episode opens on him, and we see reality beyond the curve, where an infinite amount of people who aren't Rick invented interdimensional travel. To Evil Morty, Rick isn't impressive, because literally everyone invented portal travel, but Rick was just a big enough baby that he created a wall around infinity because he wanted to be the only one in his reality with portal travel. You truly understand how Evil Mortal sees Rick - not a god, just pathetic. Rick Prime is built up as this big bad and the centre of everything, but when he is finally beaten and killed, he just seems pathetic. He's trying to talk shit but he just comes across like a teenager trying to act tough and thinking he knows about the world. And Evil Morty just leaves him for Rick to kill like he's nothing, because that's exactly what he is. And that's the revelation you can see Rick go through in the end. He realises that he's not that impressive.
Evil mortal 😂
Evil Morty isn't impressive either because, in principle, he became just like the person he hates the most. Not vouching for Rick, it's just in planning, execution, etc, Morty is just like Rick. In principle, Evil Morty isn't any better. Morally both are evil/selfish, but compelling characters! !
I can’t help but understand Rick Prime.
He’s right, especially since these two Ricks are versions of each other, except Prime was the first one to discover “infinity “ so he arrived at a nihilist point of view first. If c-137 Rick had invented the portal gun first, would he cared about his “ original” family? Ouch!
Great way to put it
Except Prime is fucked in the head fundamentally. He's a psychopath, or a sociopath, or whatever you put it. When he discovered Portal Travel it merely enabled him and broke the last piece of humanity he had, so he decided to "Rise Above".
Our Rick on the other hand wasn't a sociopath. He uses nihilism to be in control, to guard himself, to not get hurt like he did when Diane died.
Rick Prime did make Our Rick into what he Is. But he's wrong in thinking that it was always going to end this way and that they are the same. They're not.
@@DashingSteelI agree, but I can’t help but feel that even in his final moments, he wanted to prove to c-137 that he was him. That he could have been potentially the family man, the loving grandfather and caring father to Beth. That last line where he screams “You lived in my house!” resonates with me.
For someone who claims to not care about his family, and someone who seems so nihilistic, that was one hell of a scream. The emotion, even when he was about to kill morty(prime), he acknowledged the fact that it was HIS original grandson, even tried to talk to him at first.
I think rick prime was honestly just bitter, and jealous at the fact that he had discovered the formula first. C-137 mirrors what could’ve been, and that was the tragedy behind rick prime.
Good point. Rick Prime was the only Rick to discover the multiverse for himself without hearing about it from another Rick first. That revolution must have had a psychological impact. Not saying it explains his whole personality.
"I just walked into your garage before you walked into mine. Eventually you did! you lived IN MY HOUSE!"
Every single blow was thrown to Prime's face...
Not exactly gonna punch his foot now is he
@@leolimitedition there are plenty of other places one can hit to cause pain. Stomach, throat... But Rick aimed for the face all the time. He's aiming to destroy something that has been stuck in his head all his life.
Plus, it serves as symbology for Rick's self-hate.
Peak summer is probably the only person that could defeat evil morty tbh
Wait till you meet Jerry Prime next season…
@@MacTac141 Doofus Jerry is the strongest version of Jerry and hes dead
i dont think there is a peak summer since evil morty didnt pull a prime rick
Makes me wonder how long Rick lived with the universe-sized chip on his shoulder. Now that Rick Prime is out of the picture and Evil Morty just wants out, I wonder what's left...
The most dangerous thing of all, himself, or more abstractly, character development.
Doofus Jerry
"Because using a weapon like this doesn't get you LEFT ALONE, Morty.." - very possibly the best and one of the very few uses of common sense/logic by any antagonist ever
No one really talks about how our Rick went to Prime Rick's dimension, lived there, cronenberged it and then left. Man really destroyed prime Rick's whole world and took his grand for a shot at his life. When he screams "You LIVED IN MY HOUSE" that shit hits bro.
well he shot first, you don't kill someone else's wife
A bunch of vengeful Summers sounds terrifiying, because the average Summer is more capable than the average Morty. One of them is bound to do something even Evil Morty is unable to anticipate
ya but i dont see summer caring enough about rick to kill morty. she always seemed apathetic to rick. why kill your brother for killing your grandpa
@@orderflowarchives She's probably savvy enough to realize how this potentially could bite her in the ass too
@@orderflowarchivesshe’s not apathetic towards Rick at all. she never has been, not even in season one. when Rick went to prison it was Summer who went crazy trying to find a way to get him back.
"I gave you infinity and what did you do with it? Hang out with MY grandson? Raise echos of MY daughter!?" Other than the fact that this is a hard ass line, it's funny how Rick prime sees our Rick as a waste of power when really our Rick needs to see that's the point. The point of knowing nothing matters is to spite it and make all those nothings matter. All the little pointless laughs, moments of joy, petty arguments, any mundane thing you do with those you deem worthy of loving, make it matter to you. The idea that you have the entire capabilities of the universe at your disposal and you choose to use it on those you love on a scale that only has meaning to them, is what makes life yours. The only thing that truly matters in life at it's core, is what you choose to do with, not someone else who thinks they're giving it to you. Someone who thinks you have a higher calling, a bigger purpose, something greater to strive for... it doesn't have to be that because it can be whatever you want to be. I might be overanalyzing, but my god I see this episode as a way to appreciate the gift being able to finally let go of someone else's agenda and create your own
“Because using a weapon like this doesn’t get you left alone morty, you think I want a bunch of vengeful summers coming after me” honestly that line right there shows how smart and how ahead of the curb evil morty is. He’s not 10 steps of he’s 1,000
"don't come after me. it won't go well" what's threatening about that sentence is that you KNOW he's 100% sincere, and that he doesn't think he can beat them, he KNOWS
Evil Morty can erase every Rick with that weapon, but if he left it with Rick, there is the chance Rick would use it to erase Evil Morty. And Rick having that kind of power may turn him into Rick Prime as well.
I think Evil Morty wants to keep that weapon as a form of insurance to finally live his own life.
Evil Morty might hate Ricks but does he really believe Rick would kill all the Mortys? Besides Rick has no reason to go after evil Morty.
@@destroyerblackdragonactually he does in the comics evil Morty killed bird person from another dimension and made Rick halsunate a million times and it broke Rick but I think he's passed that
Rick wouldn't use that weapon to erase Evil Morty because that would also erase Morty.
@@kate_cooperhe might improve it to make it kill someone specifically instead of across infinity
@@clevelandjefferson5680 He could do that with a gun.
It's actually in character for "Evil" Morty to let Rick kill Prime Rick. It's not because he wants to do something nice for Rick, but it just ensures that he will be left alone, if he killed Rick Prime himself, it would piss off c-137 Rick, knowing how petty he is, he'd probably dedicate the rest of his life coming after Evil Morty for stealing his kill on Rick Prime, the one guy c-137 has spent his whole life looking for. Which would definitely get in the way of Evil Morty's whole "wanting to be left alone" plan.
Exactly for evil morty he's not interested in killing Rick Prime
He wants to be left alone he knows letting our Rick kill Rick Prime is the perfect way to ensure our Rick won't come after him again
See Rick Primes fatal flaw was his arrogance thinking he was superior to everyone else
Evil morty has no such weakness he's well aware of how capable and dangerous our Rick can be that's why he wants to be on good enough terms with him so our Rick is not going to try and kill him the weapon schems he took is an insurance policy incase during Rick's depression he considers a suicide attack against Evil Morty
He also knows as morbid and dark our Rick is he won't let every single Rick and morty die over it
If there was any doubt, its gone. He's the Rickest Rick.
1:51
Reminds me about Transformers Dark Side of the Moon part where Megatron and Prime had the same "Talk"
Same
"Hey Prime, wanna be friends n stuff?"
Prime did not in fact want to be friends.
Exactly what i said
I knew those lines felt familiar
For anybody that says that the new voices are not good they should just watch this clip. Rick's va did an amazing job wirh Rick Prime
I can't tell the different
Evil Morty has the ability to erase rick, but knows that using a weapon with that kind of power means he'll always have someone after him for the weapon or for revenge.
Glad to see ultimate power not make someone an idiot
I like this for Evil Morty. Since we now know his beef with c-137 isn't "personal" (SOMEHOW) and now that he knows c-137 won't kill him on sight, I can actually see them teaming up pretty regularly, if the situation calls on it.
2:22 Idk why but I love this shot so much.
Kinda obvious why isn’t it
Love the line: "You are a little different though Rick." Really validates C137 telling Prime "A different kinda Rick, I guess." The writers really close the loop on little things.
I can't wait for this episode to show up in death battle.
True
@@kennethtristangaming3674 It won't
They won'trewrite a whole script just for an episode.
It's too new. *Maybe* a quick blurb like in Raven vs Pheonix.
Funny how Rick Prime continued to justify himself as the literal culmination of his narcissistic actions finally came full circle... right into his face.
It's like he was actually surprised that the people he hurt actually want to hurt him back... and even succeeded in doing it.
Rick's new voice actor is starting to sound more and more like Justin Roiland, which is nice.
C-137 Rick: You should've stayed away from my house.
Prime Rick: "We could be like Batman and Robin"
Evil Morty : "I don't need a Robin"
Evil morty was so cold, even Prime Rick felt the ice😭😭😭😭
you could say that Evil Morty is literally *him*
the mortyest Morty helped defeat the Rickest Rick ever that live
"Rick Prime", isn't Rick Prime or the Rickest Rick. Just like the Council of Ricks he's bound by his own ideals and has thus failed at being Rick. The real Rick Prime could do anything, including grow and change.
Evil morty acts more like a rick than a morty
@@LowbrowDeluxehe is the original rick, he invented the portal gun. So yeah, he's the prime one. Rick c137 is just that, another victim. It won't make sense to call him that way if he wasn't
@@mohamedlamin2968 Valid points that he was first, but A) Rick Prime admits that C-137 is the only other Rick to invent portal travel on his own in this episode B) C-137 co-opted Rick Prime's confederation of Ricks and created the Council of Ricks (note the flags he was using as series of dimensional maps when hunting Rick Prime in the early days become the symbol of the Council) and C) it was C-137 and the Council that created the Finite Curve to trap Rick Prime in a limited infinity (C-137's probable reason, anyway. The council likely did it to ensure they'd always be the smartest man in the universe like Evil Morty claims). Even if I granted that he probably deserves to be called Rick Prime, he still fails the metric of Rickest Rick as I laid out in my original comment. Not arguing, I see your point, just laying out my case.
He felt nothing after completing his lifes goal. Empty. Poor Rick still lost everything he wanted but he killed his nemesis.
Anyone who has lost their wife because of another man understands this moment and enjoys it.
I like the fact that Evil Morty's actualy talking about the audience when he says "And they call me Evil Morty"
Ya think he along with Rick C-137 know that they’re in a show? I don’t know if that is canon yet but Rick breaks the forth wall a lot between seasons 1-3.
@@jaywatson8720 It would be interesting but I think this is exclusive to Rick C-137 like for the joke. Also I wonder if we'll ever learn about Rick's real universe because we know since season 6 that he's from somewhere else
If Rick and evil Morty had worked together. They could’ve hunt down Rick prime and Rick could’ve help bring down CFC without destroying the Citadel.
Rick built the Central Finite Curve, why would he bring it down?
If Rick and Evil Morty worked together from the get-go thenCentral Finite Curve would have never existed.
@@DashingSteel I thought he build it to trap Rick prime.
two men go into a room and one comes out like a used tampon not a sign the other guy is alive and well
Depend if there was a giant woman having her period in the room.
Even Evil Morty knows that next to Rick the most dangerous one in the family is Summer
And it's not even just a summer a coalition of summers would be a real problem
And Evil Morty knows even if he could beat them all which maybe he can that's too much effort and stress
"Knock yourself out" That's cute
I like how Morty prime is used to this that he's just concerned and bemused yet kind of optimistic the entire time, and he knows how to makeshift a weapon after he saw a half destroyed Rick Prime robot which would be a display of intelligence for our Morty.
Love that Evil Morty knows that Ricks Morty has the potential to become even worse than him.
To summarize, Summer ultimately saved Rick & Morty.
"Let's Find Out"
Now This Is the moment our Rick become Rick Prime from Cybertron.
I just love how done evil morty is
took me awhile to get used to rick and Morty and now I'm loving it
That was wonderfully satisfying.
If a bunch of Summer's come than he could use the Omega Device to wipe them. But then Beth's wil come, then Jerry's ( Jerry Prime anyone?) and finally other Morty will come and he won't be able to use the Omega Device.
That's what he meant when he said that " A weapon like that won't get you to be left alone"
I love how there was no music when our Rick got his revenge on Rick Prime, no final fight, just the two of them, alone.
1:50 The response to "What's your life without me?" being "Let's find out." is SO cold, what a performance! Nice. This was satisfying.
