I... kinda... liked the hacking minigame, in 2007. there's way too much of it and it gets pretty old after the first few levels, but I thought it was kinda fun.
it hasn't aged great. it is _not_ fun in 2024. 2's much lighter weight system was better. if nothing else, it got out of your way a lot quicker.
(though at this point I just don't think we need hacking minigames anymore. just get rid of all of them. they're a waste of time at best)
