@@sevenarrow3332 Eurovision has become an entirely different beast from when I grew up, for better AND worse. Artist in Eurovision now have to walk on the fence between being too standard/bland/old-school but consistent vocally (her song) OR being radical/weird/funny but taking a risk in their vocal performance (a lot of the favorites). None of the betting sites believed we had a chance the last 5 years so I'm mostly listening to hear what the world has to offer :)

I agree that this was one few genuinely good songs in this year’s show, maybe even the best.
But the lighting spoiled it. It’s a fairly toned down Chicago house gone disco piece, but it is set as if it was diva pop.
If it had been set with multi coloured disco type lights, some dancers and maybe even chorus singers I think it would have been at least top five.

It’s sad that the songs the countries are sending trough to Eurovision is written to do good. It’s a good Eurovision song, but I don’t want to be in the grand finale, because it wasn’t the best song. It was the song that got the most jury votes and not the people’s votes.

Ironically i dont consider Denmark who struggles at Eurovision keep in mind they won 2013 after sweden.And Denmark this year is fine at best.
Saba showed us that she can really sing, even without an earpiece. And the song itself is also very easy to sing along and therefore remains well in the memory. Personally, I like the bridge the most, because it is so pure and emotional. 🇳🇱❤️🇩🇰

@@BreakingViewsNL I wasn't in the arena, but I saw her live performance on YT. And to be honest, it didn't sound good. Maybe in the arena where the sound is somewhat distorted because of the size of the room, and the instrumental track is not perfectly balanced with the vocals, her singing may have sounded ok, but on tv where sound mixing is different, it sounded quite shaky, I must say. And we have to remember that is not the people in the arena who make up most of the votes, but ppl at home and juries who also give points based on the performance on the tv

What an upgrade from 2023
Dunno, I think the song from 2023 was much better than this, way more catchy. The main drawback was the fact that Reiley couldn't sing live. Which is crucial. In Saba's case, it looks like she has a pretty good voice and can sing live, good for her.
Still need 5 upgrades to have a chance of qualifying for the final though ...
