D-Max in for a UDT "EGR Package" - which is supply & fit of a catch can, carry out on-car chemical soot clean & custom dyno tune to suit the customer's needs & wants. In this case the tune was to suit the customer's request of towing, 4wd & highway driving.
The 4JJ1 engines in the D-Maxes make fantastic gains & this one's performance has been totally transformed!

Hi Shannon. No, it's a total/full custom dyno tune/ECU remap, performed LIVE on our dyno. There is no need for extra expenses & for a piggy-back ECU to be installed, when the factory ECU does the same job with regards to tuning :)

That is an estimated figure at the flywheel/engine from the manufacturer mate. They do not make this power/torque in the real world. Please refer to videos that we have on this topic.

Usually just blanking plates with gaskets on the intake & exhaust. I've done a couple of cars. Some need a new intake pipe where the egr connects, but real simple stuff. Some people just remove the egr function in the tune, but the exhaust pressure can still push the egr valve open or seep through any leaks when not removed. I think with these Isuzu's there's a flange on the exhaust manifold and a flange on the side of the intake manifold. Take both those gaskets to a local manufacturer as a reference and ask them to design and laser/plasma cut blanking plates. And then the catch-can they installed basically deletes the OEM ventilating system, because it ventilates oil into the intake. With a catch-can you can ventilate oil back into the motor or wait for it to fill up and throw it out.
