I just needed to see this used in a very basic, overview way. It served my purposes and everyone else can piss off about the lighting and the swearing. Thanks for the video.
Do you think this could be used as a sort of scroll saw cutting tool for cutting curves in2-4mm ABS sheets? I’m referring to using it without the guide certainly.
well, first thing I would do is use a longer piece of wood to mount it so the clamps didn’t get in the way. Also what wood sizes have you tested with this accessory
Thanks for this video. I have the dremel 4000 and I recently purchased some router bits and now I need a router table. I do small building jobs using pallet wood. Iv never used a router before on any of my builds I wanna start but I need a router table. I believe this table will be perfect for what I need it for.
silver11594 because the lighting in his workshop is too low for the camera to record. He's wearing a head torch to highlight the areas he's referring to so the camera can pick it up.
It's a long story, but the short version is it came from a comment on a forum a few years ago 'random platitudes' which then somehow became random platypus. Also, random platypus is a community - a forum community, with people from all over the world. USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Finland etc, truly a very international collection of like minded friends. This vid seems to be somewhat of a one off for us!
Yeah! Totally! We might do more at some point - but we're model makers and painters really so it's not so common for us to review tools. Tempting to do more now though!
He's using an alternative method which is also suggested in the manual to make the tool portable. His clamping issue would be fixed with a longer board.

This was kinda exactly the info was looking for, but damn dude... turn the lights on.

Proper preparation prevents piss poor performance
Thanks this video helped me. I was about to send it back. Dremel owes you a commission.
where was this made, in an underground vault?
All good info boss but try lighting other than the 60watt bulb you used here 😎
Will it work on a 1" thick plank?
Is this a disco light review or?
Thank you for this. my first use I about shot a resin blank through my sliding door. O_o
Why are you filming this with a flashlight?

if you´re gonna do a review please buy a decent lamp and a decent camera, otherwise a good review
I laughed through this one! It was so entertaining... However, I'm going to search for a better more informative video, this one didn't meet my needs.
Wow, dude, you need brighter and more light in your shop! I pray you don’t work power tools in that lighting.
Its pretty standard to have a good lighting when doing some video -_-
Just one question, why Random Platypus? You're an American and a Platypus is Australian. :P

Nikki Whelan "this vid is a one off for us". Another reason to be random!

edward charles lol well its a pretty good one-off 😉
Random Platypus that's a good enough reason! Randomness is awesomeness 😊
First time I’ve seen a review using a flashlight lol 😂... I couldn’t pay attention but good try on the review just couldn’t see much
Buy some lighting!!!
You're really bogging down that motor. Not good for the tools longevity.
Your suppose to screw it to the side of a work bench or table. so you don't need the clamps.

very poor video quality
Couldn't get past the poor lighting.
Why post something shot in the dark? Useless, sorry.
Not very good at demo's are you.
Shite video, even for 7 years ago
After watching this video.....
Thumbs down on everything dremel. 👎
Please don't blame Dremel for what you see in this video.
Could do without the F word...
Yeah, I'm not into random cussing either, especially with chance of kids passing me by at this PC. Hmm.
Stop the swearing. Totally unnecessary. I will not watch more of your videos.
