  • In 2016, Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) embarked on a landmark partnership with NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) to reintroduce six locally extinct mammal species to a specially built, fenced safe haven in the Pilliga Forest in northern NSW. Eight years into the project, the site is now home to burgeoning populations of five of those species including Bilbies, bandicoots and bettongs. Join me for a webinar update about the Pilliga mammal reintroductions with Dr Vicki Stokes, AWC’s Senior Wildlife Ecologist leading the program.
