I really enjoy watching your programs. They are very beneficial. I was a diesel mechanic in the military and the gas engine mechanic as well but I haven’t done any of that in years. I driving a Ford pick up with the old international engine diesel. Since I’ve been hurt, I can’t do much work on anything anymore in the army report on cats in the Detroit mostly when I was in anyway, but at any point I am really grateful that you video your shows one day I would like to buy one of your vehicles that you work on.

Saw an in depth video over on Captain Kleeman channel where Area Diesel fixed something for his 555, which you got him and he's still having to fix. 🤗 They're set up is awesome, they really know that they are doing. Poor Kevin, small feet, T Rex arms a large head and vertically challenged. Perhaps it would help, if he was able to bring an emotional support animal to work 🤣😂🤣😂. Great fun watching you guys, always good that you can have a bit of banter in the work place.

I’ve done a lot of CAV pump replacements but my skid steer has a Stanadyne pump so I let Progressive Diesel near me R and R it. After watching your video I’m glad I did. (I also couldn’t find the timing marks, they told me its a pain on the skid steer so it was a good call)

I am doing a rebuild on a JD 2640 Tractor with a 4045 N/A Motor I acquired form an action. After a recent test drive, it would appear my oil level is increasing. Does not appear to be the exact model pump but very similar. Looks like I am a potential ADS customer. Very timely video and thanks for the heads up. This is exactly why I watch CZcams videos, especially yours.

And a tip… Before you blame your Stanadyne pump for a poorly running machine… Make sure you don’t have a hidden kill switch that’s functioning intermittently… lol

Come one now! You know you have to use a C or S wrench for that nut on the back side of that pump just like on the ones on a NT855 cummins. You didn't sho the cursing involved in that. LOL

Hi Clinton - love your videos. But a bit disappointed to see so much overspray on that machine. PS - you should actually be using HVLP spray equipment - you'd get a totally acceptable paint finish for your type of work, dramatically reduce your overspray problem and same a fortune on paint

Yeah it helps when you have the correct tools especially when working with high pressures and tight tolerances. ADS do injection pumps every day; it is not cost effective to do it yourself.

How would you verify #1 TDC if you have the older pump, before removal? Fly wheel pinned but you cant pin the pump and the window faces the block.
Check to see if #1 cylinder valves are both closed
once you know how , easy change ... IF can get to pin holes . my first , on a 160 excavator . it even sent me a code that said " i am bad" ... new one locked me out 😂😂😂
