      brother! I was purified through fire myself. I love God, Jesus and life. I'm happy God's letting me catch ground for a hot minute now,I remember my tires were spinning awhile ago, by God

    You know Keith,
    I cannot thank you enough for all the help you've given me through the years.
    I got my logo from fiverr on your recommendation. I learned how to do pricing from you, what paperwork I needed and how to get it, marketing strategies, tips when first starting my business, etc etc.
    I got going in business with your encouragement.
    And on the other hand.. it seems like more and more this channel has less to do with helping us..

    I’m adding lawn maintenance to my handyman business and I’m on the fence on a trailer. Do I go with an open trailer or enclosed? I have an enclosed for the handyman side. Any advise would be much appreciated

    • @keith-kalfas
      @keith-kalfas  Před 3 lety +3

      If you have a garage to park it in and you live in a lower crime area. I'd go with an open trailer. Haha. Otherwise definitely an encloses. I've used both and I really like the enclosed trailer because you can put big graphics on the sides.

    I am stuck between a hard part of advancing my lawn and landscape business. I don't have enough business to have an employee but sometimes I am too busy to do the work I get. I think this is the hardest part!

      Thanks I appreciate your motivational videos! I started in may borrowing a lawnmower and a string trimmer, working out my minivan. I have backups for all my equipment and today I just bought a truck (cash)! When I feel like I am not making the revenue I want I watch several of your videos and it motivates me to keep pushing! What up Doe!

    How much do you change or sharpen your blades

    • @keith-kalfas
      @keith-kalfas  Před 3 lety +4

      Depends on how much you cut. If you've got a full route over 100 lawns. Then sharpen them once a week. And I like to use my Mower for spring and fall cleanups... the Blades take a super beating.

    My old Dixon 42" ZTR(30+yrs old) and it served faithfully 3 years and got us "here." Now...I'm torn between a Toro Timecutter 50"2020/21 for 4k or an old Bad Boy Pro 50"...for 2k
    My Ol Lady said "ask Keith. Book an appt an ask Keith".. we can't literally afford a 7k mower...so...it's definitely a grueling decision. I'm terrified
