I just found this video and it helped me figure out my TSM, I got a rustler for Father’s Day and I’ve done some aluminum upgrades and bought a TQi transmitter and receiver and the Bluetooth module, but I was having trouble with getting the TSM figured out until I watched this video! Probably going to go buy a VXL motor and esc this week! I don’t have lipo yet but that will come after the brushless motor! I love your videos! Been going through a lot of your older ones, wish I didn’t live 14hrs away from the Traxxas store you always go to!

Ay what do I do if when I try to calibrate it and the red light turn on for full throttle and then the light just turns off and not blinks on again

i didnt have a demo and fell in the same situation , bran new out of the box , thank you , you saved me a visit to the hobbyshop, wife happy ;)
The updates from the link app did the same for me it didn’t take that long for my other cars
So TSM was working fine for me before I installed a better metal gear steering Servo from traxxas, and ever since then TSM dosent work. Help please
Thanks I have a new 1.0 E-Revo I needed to do this before I got rid of.
The TSM on my UDR starts gradually moving wheels to passenger side just sitting still. When I turn tsm off they return center.
Folks keep saying rebind etc and I’ll try it, but it seems like the gyro is just broken.
You can set profiles without the bluetooth module in fact you can do everything without the control module just more complicated

Hi Mark I know this is an old video, but did you figure out how and why tsm sometimes doesn't work? Did it actually involve how things are powered on? Transmitters vs receiver first or vice versa? Usually for my other rc's non traxxas I power on the transmitter first then receiver, but seems like with traxxas, specially if you have multiple different cars bound to one transmitter, I power on in the reverse order, receiver first then transmitter. Could that have been actually the reason why tsm does not work?
Have you figured out or noticed this, or have any further info as to why tsm sometimes work or not?
I have noticed thou restarting and reversing sometimes the process have fixed the issue, but have never really narrowed down which fixes it.
Got lost in the menu somewhere, now my steering doesn’t work on any of my models. Any advice
I tried to set my endpoints on my Maxx and now the multi function controls my steering dual rate and I don't know how to get it to control tsm again
I put that remote and reciever to my slash 2wd vxl 4s car which that remote and reciever came out from traxxas defender but now i still couldn t fix TSM on my car i get crazy can u help me please?

We put in a 330oz Traxxas servo and it is so noisy. Like radio noise. Any thoughts?

Mark i have seen few of your videos got a question. Got a vxl slash had few years so anyway my s3 was probably year old all of a sudden the protection light comes on so bought new battery amd im still having the same problem run time 5 minutes res light comes on . Any ideas
I had the same problem happen twice once it was batteries in my remote &the other time I had to reset my esc

My tsm is not working did the same and still doesn't work and I changed the chassis to lcg.
i have a tqi radio my throttle and stering seem to be mixed when i just steer its fine but when i am useing my throttle at the same time its cit out my steering. i tried a factory reset and stilp does the same thing

I cannot get my multifunction knob set back to tsm control and cant find the info anywhere,I do not have the bluetooth module.Been trying resets for hours now please help! Anyone??
Old video but for anyone watching this, you don't have to give it throttle for tsm to engage, if that's the case you have a problem with your tsm..
can u plzzzz make a vid on how to set my multifuntion knob to control tsm, right now it controls my steering which is useless because i already have a knob for that. thank you

tsm stopped working for my rusty after I switched servo. no big lose but I am curios as to why it stopped. Anyone know?

Mine does the same thing . It worked fine until I changed out steering servo now it works intermittently
I’m having that issue now did the same thing.. can I ask by chance if you ever figure out a solution to get the new servo to work like old one with the way the tsm works?

I can't get my Traxxas car too go foword or reverse
Once the receiver is turned on, there will be a solid, green, light which means TSM is on or a blinking green light which means it’s off🤷 to change the mode. Once the receiver is on hold down the power button until it turns red. It will switch the mode on or off🤷you’re welcome.😎✌️
It took about 20 minutes for mines to download i just bought a revo 3.3 2 weeks ago

Tried it and my tsm still doesn’t work
Your throttle was on 70:30 and it runs away you have to have it at 50:50 and the thing is on the controller

It’s because the controller isn’t turned on first then the car
Its actually because i set the controller to 70/30 instead of 50/50. We got it all worked out though.
Turn the controller the the vehicle on
Peter Hurley i set the controller to 70/30 so when i powered on an esc that is calibrated for 50/50 it runs... oops... hahaha
