Traxxas Maxx V2 TSM problem - how to fix TSM issue?

Yes, my dad has this steering Issue too with his X-max when he turns TSM on. We thought it was a weak servo at first but turns out just a problem with tsm.
Interesting. We also found an issue last night with one of our sledges.
Who you pair multiple vehicles you hav go to the settings for each car in the remote and set the dual rate and turn sensitivity. I hav the bluetooth module on the remote I use for my cars and it makes it easier to adjust. otherwise you hav to enter the remote menu and follow the flashing light prompts til you get to steering in the remote (which changes TSM knob to whatever setting) and you can turn it up how you like. Dot forget to go bak thru the menu and set the knob bak to TSM. Bluetooth module makes this a lot more simple.
Hmm we will double check that but thought we had covered that but a good shout.
I just got the Maxx a few weeks back and I'm also facing this issue
It seems to be a problem with the traxxas gyro system
My Maxx does it sometimes, fancy servo pretty well covers it up, not that it’s right. Saw some other CZcamsr say all you have to do is turn it off and back on again, and it usually goes away. I’ve been to lazy to actually do that, but might be why it seemed better when you switched transmitters
We have tried the off and on again and did not always cure it. Good old Traxxas electrics
I use only one TQi transmitter with all my Traxxas cars. Never had such an issue with TSM. But I do use the Traxxas Bluetooth module and I always run the latest firmware on all the devices. Maybe that's worth checking out. Also check the settings in the Traxxas app, when connected to the BT module. Maybe the receiver you used in the Maxx is configured for another car that needs to behave differently?
We did check firmware. Will double check again. Seems to be glitches with the system.
Yes I am having the same problem on my maxx v2. All Traxxas had to say is don’t use the tsm

i have the exact same problem. it makes it undriveable. i have to turn tsm off to make the turn. only on 1 truck. the others are fine. i failed to fix it (yet). i tried rebinding and reset tqi to default. but still the same. with tsm i can not make the turn.
i tried another transmitter but it did the same.
We had the TSM problem again last week with our new Maxx. Our solution now is to press the small button on the receiver to turn off the TSM completely - the green light will flash to confirm. Switch the truck off / on. Then press button again to switch TSM back on. Works perfectly!
I have the same problem, though I still use the orignal transmitter.
Seems to be not an uncommon problem. Come on Traxxas sort this problem out. Its not an isolated incident
Ive had ths issue on my slash vxl 2wd with the tsm system that the tsm would turn when the car is going straight or not moving.
Check the receiver is properly fixed
@@TeamRC3D what do you mean the receiver is properly fixed? Do you mean to take it in to a shop? I’ve tried many things, do you have any ideas on fixing it?

Yes, I had this issue with the Xmaxx, erevo, Maxx. I always put in a different radio and receiver, love Traxxas trucks but their electronics are junk

Yeah I've got this issue now and also I can't turn the tsm off on my xmax, guess traxxas electrics are as crap as people say.
I’m trying to figure out why my slash 4x4 vxl wobbles at full speed with tsm on anyone know what I should do
Turn down sensitivity of it see if that helps
My Maxx v2 4s starts pulling to the right suddenly and then when I correct it turning left using remote it straightens out then within 20 seconds it's pulling to the right again, drifting on throttle or braking makes no difference , it still does it. Tsm on off makes no difference.. anyone help? I'm somewhat newer to RC .
Check to see if the steering moves freely with out the servo connected - may be something is binding or is bent
@@TeamRC3D I'll check that out tomorrow. And mine has the same tsm issue as yours, i turn tsm off and steering is faster and turns full rotation left and right, turn tsm back on and it slows down alot and won't fully turn

Having the same problem called Traxxas they said receiver is bad no fix send it in
We are out of warranty!
I installed a new servo and it keeps reversing the steering . I reset it and then a few seconds later it goes back . Then when I turn TSM off it still try’s to adjust itself straight . HELPPPP
Make sure the multi function dial is set to adjust the TSM - do you have the Bluetooth module?
@@TeamRC3D I do have the BT module and I dialed it to 0 but for some reason it just keeps on reversing the steering even after adjustment .
@@Ivanmx5_ do you mean the steering is the wrong way round? Ie: when you turn the controller left the wheels go right?
It is not a problem, that setting is for onroad
Only truck we found you need TSM is the UDR
My Maxx acts stupid as well with tsm. It acts like it can't handle it and my wheels won't snap back strait after I turn. I have to keep it off or it acts stupid.
Is that TSM or more related to problems with the servo or steering assembly?
