The Bella Twins got so much from WWE because of Johnny Ace. I don't think it had as much to do with Cena as it did with Johnny. Johnny starts dating their mother in 2011, they leave in 2012, they come in 2013 with high paying contracts and get to be the stars on Total Divas. They get pushed into feuds that were god awful like the one against each other. Triple H is in charge and Johnny Ace is gone and then they suddenly leave WWE and drop the name Bella. They benefited from Johnny Ace's alleged behavior and made money off of it.
Thanks for this because I wanted to know the timeline of all of that. They really benefited from Ace. I guess AJ Lee was wrong, talent is sexually transmitted.

The minute Triple H took over, he probably told them "Free ride is over, either learn to actually work or leave." Guess what they chose.
That being said, they were essentially doing nothing when their contracts expired. They worked Evolution in 2018 and Total Bellas ended with a wedding special. They weren't suddenly going to make a comeback.
Pretty much what I thought when I found out they were quasi-related. They were boring on TV and you could almost tell the other ladies didn't like them.
Unironically, a bunch of random yappy dog noises are exactly what pop into my head when I hear that the Bella twins said something.

I was very relieved that the Bella twins released a statement regarding the McMahon situation. The whole time I was reading the 67 page filing my only concern was what the Bellas thought. I'm glad that women of such talent and integrity - such important figures in the wrestling world - have bravely spoken out on this issue.
Ha! Precisely what I was thinking as well. I often wonder “what do the Bella’s think about this” when reading about happenings in the WWE. Their opinion on such matters is really what the scholars of the world want to know. Good thing they are putting their collective foot down and showing people that they are not a couple of annoying, babbling, talentless, empty headed, vapid, twats but hall of fame caliber geniuses giving in depth and thoughtful comments.

I don't understand why fans are giving them crap over their statement (no pun intended). What are they supposed to do? He's married to their mother - they really think he went around telling them what he was doing? Their mother who is recovering from cancer and a stroke? It’s weird how men are more likely to abuse the Bella’s for not giving the right response than to call out the men who actually did it.
