If only that third fish had stuck.

There are some really good channels out there that have been consistently uploading for years. On the other hand we've been making a good go of it for two months minus some of the flashier videos over the last couple years

Love the zero shirt! I used to skate pretty hard and zero or blind were my favorite decks. I of course destroyed my knee after about 8 years of skating and been hard into bass fishing ever since... I still skate but never on the level that I used to. Keep up the good work!

I hooked up with my first Citizen fish yesterday! She came off, but it was the coolest thing I've ever had happen to me in fishing. Later that night I got my first SB fish on the Baby Wake too, a bit over 4lbs. Your videos are the main reason that I've had the confidence to stick with swimbaits, so huge thanks to you for making them. I bought another pack of Citizens this morning, it's my favorite big bait and hopefully I'll get a big one on it this afternoon.
Swimbait fishing is something that you have to commit to in order to have success. If you stick with it, you'll have some good rewards. When you are fishing big soft baits, make sure you are reeling into the fish after the bite and once you start to feel a little bit of resistance, lay into them. Flouro really helps too.
I got the 20lb AbrazX and did the hook set like you do, I think my problem was that I want grinding hard enough. I know better for next time though, I'm about to go to my lake for 4-6 hours with only the big bait rod.
Can you do a vid regarding how to set the hook with diff type of soft baits and hard baits? I had a small nibble on a 8" hudd but I think I swung too early because I set the hook as soon as I felt a tap and got nothing. Should I have let the bass eat it or what?
I think it's friggin dope that you record your stuff and post it without blurring backgrounds or editing stuff out. Just straight up showing it how it is, and kicking out quality content constantly. Neat to see how you'll talk to other guys on the lake too, there are a lot of guys that are just sooooo secretive with their stuff, and need to lighten up. Keep up the good work dude!

Nice fish Mike, quick question. I noticed you generally set the hook opposite of what is conventional (Reel handle on the inside, instead of the outside). Any reason for this?
It varies from time to time. No real reason except when I'm paralleling shorelines, I like to have the shore on my left, which leads me to setting the hook to my right.

California. Maybe not as big, but I like to keep the mainframe to chase the biggest bass in your water. "Trophy" is relative to where you are fishing.
