- Man this has been a long time coming! And don't get me wrong, I DO like the cel shading, but not everyone does! So hopefully this helps those folks that want to remove it.

Well, you did good, man! Jubilee's shading is more forgiving and easy to get at for the most part, but you pulled a hand full of aces, dude! Nice work! Tamiya masking tape would have been the best product to have put over Jube's belt, I'd think. I have a bunch of that tape from when I used to restore matchbox cars, etc. As a masking tape, it works wonders. Most liquid masks wouldn't be great because acetone will eat thru them, I'd imagine, and a lot of those don't work well to begin with, unfortunately. Tape is usually a better option.
I still think if you are going to use acetone on a figure, you need to hit the figure with a clear coat spray of semi-gloss or matte finish just to make the figure look even afterwards, but I understand why you might not want to or be able to go that route. You did a great job, and this it's nice to get another video from you, Jack!
Awesome! Great videos, man!
Yo, does anyone not peep Kirby's theme song playing in the background?
Thanks, man! And I love that you noticed the song!
@@ComicallyToys You're welcome!
Sadly I bought the one you used doesn’t work anymore not your fault hope for a alternative product here in the Netherlands any help is welcome keep up the great work
Sorry for the late reply, but I've just ordered a few bottles to test with and see if I can find something that will work!
Hi, I was wondering what's your thoughts are on how hard it would be to remove the cell shading on the Daredevil from the Daredevil and Hydroman two pack. Thanks, Ray.
I'd say it should be more or less the same, but probably even easier since he is all red. I still haven't gotten one yet, but plan to remove the shading as soon as I can!
Hey brotha I bought that same Winsor and Newton and it does not work. They seem to make 2 different ones.
Hmmm that's concerning. I'm sorry to hear that man. I may try getting another bottle then and/or reaching out to them to see if they changed the formula. You could try your local hobby store to see if they have the older one that does work.
@@ComicallyToyssame here i bought the one you linked and it doesn’t come off
@@noecarrasco7703 I'm really sorry about that! Clearly they must have changed their formula. I'm going to need to find a different one then that will work. That's so frustrating.
@@ComicallyToys no worries I think the Amazon one and the one you have are different so im going to try to purchase that one
@@noecarrasco7703 Sounds good. Let me know how it goes! I may still look for an alternative anyway just to be on the safe side.
