He’s pretty vocal about how he never understood video games, anime or any other kind of “nerd culture”, even when he was living in Japan. He just doesn’t see the appeal of any of it, would rather focus on real life, music, etc.
That being said, the odds of him not being at least aware of Naruto is insanely small. That would be like an American not recognizing SpongeBob. Even people who are way too old to have ever watched the show know who fucking SpongeBob is.

I remember when I was sitting with someone and they said how much they like Joji (we were listening to one if his songs) and I said it was wild how he went from doing FilthyFrank to doing such a chill genre of music... they were super confused. Turned out they had no idea Joji and FilthyFrank were the same person and they were completely mindblown

And honestly, the flavour is just really authentic... Indonesian food is big in the Netherlands and I make my own boemboe and nasi/bami goreng...

As someone who has tried to improve instant noodles, add ALL the flavour packets. Even if you're just using a single pack of noodles, when you add extras like meat and vege, it dilutes the flavour. Ideally you want at least 2 flavour packs per noodle pack when you're adding stuff to instant noods. 1 to 1 is only enough for base noodles plus a tiny bit of extras.
Edit: Oh, and Indomie is the way!
And, the basic thing is, call it INSTANT NOODLE. Not Instant Ramen.
Ramen is noodle with soup. Not all instant noodles are the soupy one. The most delicious ones mostly the fried noodle one.
Indomie mie goreng and Samyang fire noodle for example.
