love these vids, thank you for documenting the realistic journey of prototyping and planning a custom sff build, not just the end product!

I love that you explain the process of this in layman's terms so even non-tech genius' like me can follow. Thanks for that haha 🙏 great video

I'm loving these progress logs, but did you really drive 3+ hours to pick up 2 pieces of plywood and some 3D prints? that is some dedication right there. Any other situation and people would call you crazy. you have got to get yourself at least a cheap 3d printer for prototyping. if for nothing else then to save gas money lol. you could even print the outer panels while still prototyping. might take longer to print than the drive itself, but you can always print while you sleep. Can't do that with driving. Well I mean you can... but only once. Its been a while since I saw the previous build log so you might have spoken about this already, but could you not mount the PSU to the "rear" panel and add cutouts for ventilation and access to the power switch? I don't think routing the input PSU power cable will be very fun if you continue having things set up the way you do. I'm not sure it will even fit, even with a 90 degree header. it could even save you that volume gain you mentioned when talking about using a more powerful, slightly larger PSU

Why are you using Plywood to do your prototyping? ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) would be a much better choice! It also has the added benefit of working as a heat sink when you mount things to it! It comes in multiple colors and doesn't need finishing. You can use all the same tools I've seen you using to work with it. To me using wood gives the impression of unpreparedness and lack of quality even if you are just starting out I would really suggest you use no wood for any thing but wood grain features like the Fractal North has! Sorry to be critical I know that's all you really see on the internet but I thought it needed said!
