I remember being one of those blind wrestling fans that found the Young Bucks to be overrated. I too pointed out how they ruined the superkick, but when I started seeing Dolph and the Usos casually use it I lost that reason to hate them. Eventually I took a closer look at their work and yeah I saw a spotfest in every match. Thing is, I don't mind a spotfest. I actually welcome it because of how fast paced and death defying it is.
The Young Bucks didn't hit my radar until around the time they parodied the invasion angle DX did with WCW. I found them obnoxious at the time and like a lot of E stans, I wrote them off as some indie chumps looking for 15 seconds of fame.
Fast forward to All In and the rumor that CM Punk might make an appearance was enough to at least know there's an independent event about to happen and it's happening in a Las Vegas arena. Very unheard of in the indies but with familiar names like Jericho and the Rhodes brothers at All In, I also happened to have watched Lucha Underground on Netflix so I knew the Lucha Bros as well, I at least had some foothold in the event. Those familiar faces got me curious so to anyone still bitching about being an ex wwe guy, keep in mind it's the ex wwe guys I went for and the new guys that made me stay.
The Young Bucks vs The Lucha Bros was a spectacle I have never seen on that sort of scale. They were giving me the fast paced action I enjoy whole the commentators did well to fill me in on their history. I was rooting for the guys I knew, the Lucha Bros, but damn did the Bucks earn my respect that night.
And as time went on the Bucks grew on me more and more, even as faces. These were the guys that started a revolution in wrestling and started the promotion that reignited my love for pro wrestling. Mind you, I had only seen the Bucks as babyfaces up to the point of their heel turn in AEW and the rest is history. They arey favorite tag team of the modern era and whether it's in the ring or in BTE, I never miss anything with the Young Bucks.
Sometimes you really gotta stop listening to what the internet is telling you and go see for yourself how you feel about certain wrestlers or wrestling promotions. The same narrative I have about organically growing to love the Young Bucks is the same thing I can say about Kenny Omega. As of this writing he's out injured and I miss him dearly. Never thought I'd be saying back on 2018 lol
Like Sonny said, love them or hate them, you can't help but to respect what they've done for the industry. I for one choose to evolve rather than keep the same formula that, I'll albeit, got wrestling popular in the first place. But like I said before, I love the Young Bucks and all the talent at All Elite Wrestling for reigniting my love for this sport again as a professional wrestling fan ❤️

They were very lucky to not have any serious injury before they have peaked, but they were talented regardless of it, they were flippy but very safe while still the moves looked very good everytime, they are just really good at wrestling.
That’s very true. The fact that they’ve stayed healthy enough to continue wrestling for all these years is testament to their wrestling ability.

If nothing else you can say this about them, they manage to make you watch them. Either in disgust or adoration, they know what they are doing and they love doing it. They remind me a lot of the history of grunge rock, like in the early 90s when grunge rock was in its infancy and hated by most of the mainstream but, younger ages and more open music fans loved it because it wasn't traditional and something unique. The Young Bucks were something that I feel most fans starting in the 2000s-early 2010s grew to love because they stood out as something, I would argue even to this day, hasn't been replicated and all those people have now grown up with them as the standard of what heights tag teams can get to.
Holy Shit! The part about Hangman wearing the exact same shirt when he asked the Bucks to be in his corner/ told them to not get involved with his tittle matches is heckin’ brilliant! Thank you so much for pointing throw out to me, I never would have noticed this before

Corny is overrated. He's as out of touch as Vince in his own way. His way is to turn back the clock to the early 80s or late 70s and that's understandable because that's when he got into it. I, for one, am glad that people aren't getting ganked in the showers, shooting themselves full of drugs and booze, or taking unprotected shots anymore. Wrestling these days is more self aware and less self destructive. They KNOW they are a show, the audience knows they are a show, and there is no turning back from that.

You should search Broken Matt surprises Bucks at ROH. The series from that massive surprise pop was excellent. Took place right before the Hardy WWE return effectively killing Matt Hardy's lightning in a bottle gimmick.

The Young Bucks are definitely one of, if not, the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time.
I am probably rare but I am a huge Kenny Omega fan while hating the Young Bucks. They will always stay overpushed junior heavyweights to me.
Kenny might be able to work if he worked like MJF and Christian cage. Kenny could be a great heel too. There is a reason why wrestlers like randy orton have longevity. They adapt to their limits and don't over work when it is not necessary. They don't devalue their product. Kenny could have had a fresh start but decide to do his NJPW style and it put him down. He worked with danielson and I had hope but then he got the injuries.

Some of the criticisms of them are spot on, I tune out in matches when wrestlers pop up immediately after a devastating move. They do that way too often and just seemingly forget to sell at all in most of the big matches they are in. They are like 5'5 and 150 lb no-selling actual monsters. It's ridiculous and corny. Other than that they're okay though.
Yeah tbh I understand some of the criticism’s but tbh that’s what makes them so relevant because people are always hating on them and that gives them free publicity. The Young Bucks are very clever in that sense!

Here's how I see it: are the Young Bucks overrated? Maybe. Are they bad by any means? Absolutely not, they're world-renowned for a reason. Sure, they tend to use the Superkick a lot, but...so do people like Ziggler, The Usos, Rollins, Owens and others. That doesn't change the fact that they're one of the best tag teams currently and that the business of pro wrestling will forever be altered/improved thanks to them and the rest of The Elite

They’ve never been my taste but I think it’s super dope how they created ways to make a genuine living in wrestling through non traditional ways such as the merchandise machine they created. That’s just pretty cool even if they’re not my preference.
YOUNG BUCKS are no doubtly the best tag team of the decade whatever they put in the ring always deliver classic wherver they were best tag teams of year 2021 and they were deserved, there feud & rivalry with LUCHA BROS in AEW no doubtly best one thing no one says about them how young bucks never get credit of putting talents over, YOUNG BUCKS tag team championship reign no doubtly was best i had ever seen & there match with ADAM PAGE & OMEGA at REVOLUTION was greatest tag team match of all time.

When i first saw the Young Bucks they were in the bullet club,I had no idea who they were,all the superkick and high flying moves were a bit much,I saw so much heat they got for supposedly ruining tag team and wrestling in general... So I went back in there matches looked up where all the wrestled and watched their matches... The Young Bucks aren't over rated,they've face some of the best tag teams there are including the hardy Boyz... I've been a fan since they were in n.j.p.w. and will always be a fan,whoever says the Young Bucks suck or over rated that's their opinion.
Hangman and Omega Vs Young Bucks was so good the Jim Cornette almost said something nice about it

After getting back into wrestling after All Out 2021, the Bucks became my favourite wrestlers after their amazing cage match with the Lucha Bros. Love their meta gimmick and fantastic skill in ring. However, I do miss their old Superkick party theme haha.

I like your videos. as a fan of both companies I think your videos would get more views and come off as more professional if you toned down the shots at wwe though. The typical “haha fed bad, Vince bad, wwe insults our intelligence” narratives don’t need to be included in these short doc/bios. The long-term storytelling with The Bucks and Page had to be some of the best writing ever, honestly, they didn't try too hard and to me it felt really organic

The Bucks just remind me of a less Talented Paul London and Brian Kendrick. No they don't defeated the bear with ease because when Roman Reigns said they don't need cosplay wrestlers there (when they where doing the DX cross chops and such) they got their feelings hurt.
Am I the only one who miss Santana and Ortiz great tag team. I remember when they became the new LAX with Eddie Kingston (also when I became a fan of Eddie)
Lot of essential details were left out like The reason behind stuff, example: The reason the reluctantly gave Omega the Two Sweet and never did after was a call back to their C&D they got from WWE and Matt wanting to talk to Hangman while he’s celebrating with the Dark Order was literally him trying to apologize. There a lot more than those two examples but those two definitely were important to what he’s talking about
