    Once again, straight-forward and to the point without the lengthy talking that doesn't explain anything (that so many others get caught up in) Thank you. I always learn something to file away in my head.

      I do what I can. This was a straight forward repair that showed the diagnostic headaches. Fixing stuff takes experience or luck. Glad I had a spare coil to take an educated guess. Better lucky than good sometimes........

    Got a 572 that I've put about a gallon through and its working great, love the saw! Got the 550mk2 and 592 as well, the 5 series huskies are very powerful performers.. can only hope that they remain reliable

    From anchor to ripper real quick👍🏻
    Delt with that husky coil backorder crap aswell. Ordered in February with expected availability in May, then June and finally arrived earlier this month.

      There was a pretty long stretch where backorders were randomly showing up from Husqvarna. It was like a game. Wonder what's in the box?

    Husky knows damned well that the 572 coils are junk; thus the lifetime warranty on them. What the hell good is a lifetimewarranty if they do not have the parts in stock. I went through the same thing at my expense....

    Have a 572xp I can't get started after it got pinched in a log and the chain brake engaged. Once we got it free, we have not been able to get the saw started although it was running fine prior to that moment. I have confirmed it has spark and good fuel but still no start. I am confused as to the wirting on the top of th car and am not familiar with these smaller format 2 strokes other than the basics. Long shot poasting here but any suggestions appreciated.

    Hey Richardflag3084
    Good job man!
    Did you do a continuity test on the coil with a multimeter to try to see if there is a broken wire?
    How much is a coil?
    Have they had a few carb updates to Re-program or numerous carbs like the 562’s?

    • @richardflagg3084
      @richardflagg3084  Před rokem +2

      I saw no visible damage to the wires after it was removed. Just happened to have a fresh coil on hand and glad it's done. I knew something was up when it wouldn't read the saw. It may have been just a bad coil.

      @@richardflagg3084 thanks…I found the 562’s very frustrating and after buying a couple of the OEM short blocks, and those also not lasting a season, due to their inherent flaws, have a box of 4 nearly complete 572’s sitting in the corner of my shop…reluctant to sell them to anyone…

      That's why I switched to sthils thar and dealers five minutes away..those husky run hot 🔥. And are heavy. They have sturdy mounts fir bars but that's it. These oil filters from Gordy are best filters. Love them.of course with stihls have to spend extra 350 on aftermarket parts kits when purchased but it's worth the weight savings and get her done power once bolt on parts mods are in them..realy hard to beat 400,462./500i for stock daily Saws.not much they can't take down. 661 don't get out to much.i do like those 592xp s might get one to replace 661

    Hey bud, I bought a new 572 a month ago and it is doing the same thing. If you pull it 20 times it pops 20 times but no run. Been back at the dealer 2 weeks and haven't heard anything. Very 😠

      Show them my video. Might give them something to try? That being said, It could be anything and I don't want to give you false hopes. Diagnostics can be difficult and I got lucky today. Worth a try tho.
