Ayrton the best of all time
I think Senna was the most natural F1 driver I have ever seen, other than maybe Jim Clark. Senna also had a great work ethic, which is overlooked.
WHY?
1.He is the fastest ever (pole position even with a Lotus)
2.He was in the golden age F1 with many historical rivals
3.A master of the rain (Monaco 84, Estoril 85, Adelaide 91, Donintong 93)
4. He is the pilot who has most inspired other pilots (some: Alonso, Montoya, Hamilton, Gasly) and many more who consider him their idol.
5. If he had not died he would have more world titles.
Maybe if he didn't die. Schumacher would have less Titles.
You can count at least one more title that was literally stolen from them.
He stopped his car to save someone’s life.
One of the best defense drivers.
Used to find overtakes everywhere on places never done before in many circuits.
Loved raw racing more than electronics
King of Monaco
He could push himself to limits only few human beings can reach. 110%.
Schumacher was the real rival !
Ayrton was Fearless as it needed
@@seven5677 He died because Schumacher was better and he went too hard and crashed, sad
I went to the Australian GP every year it was in Adelaide. Sitting in the stand at first chicane, you didn't need a stopwatch re Senna on a hot lap. Never seen it before or since, but visually from trackside, he was noticeably quicker than everyone else through that first chicane. I'm so privileged to have seen my hero in real life. If any of you were there, you would have to agree re his #1 talent.
respect..
When he went away all I said and kept till today 2020
"Goodbye Senna
Goodbye F1"
SENNA!!!!!
Same here. Senna died and I never watched a race again.
That's a blind and passionate statement. Many excellent drivers after him existed and will continue to exist. Now, in regard to F1, "the problem" is that today the F1 cars reliability is tremendous, which makes the races so boring, because at least in the past, true drivers should know how to keep their car in good conditions at the same time competitive for the upcoming races. The 3 times F1 champion Nelson Piquet was a master in that aspect. He was not only an excellent racing driver, but a very clever automotive mechanic. Senna would never get good results without at least the best 3 cars in the field. While Piquet could win with a Brahbam's car! Can you imagine what Nelson Piquet would have done if he always had driven the best cars?!
@@jackringo9878 Same here, regards from Denmark.
@@fabiogarcia1431 Senna won with a Lotus, 4th best car on the grid and got podiums with a Toleman, the 10th best car on the grid, you're senseless. Piquet lost the championship in 1986 with the best car and had bad results when he left Williams, still a great driver dough but Senna is very far away
Hands down. No contest.
Not because of his racing only, but he’s done exceptional charity work for the kids in Brazil.
He was my hero ! I was watching when he hit the wall, I couldn't believe it.
he isss...
My hero, too. I never watched a race again.......
I agree. I wish I was older and knew of him when I was younger
I watch schumi i was with shumi but i think senna is the best driver of all time my opinion
Just for 2 3 or 4 years i lost to watch senna. But im with lucky i watch shumi is a legeng mito is the second driver for me
F1 has great names that will immortalized. We've to recognize them, crossing eras with Fangio, Jim Clark until Senna. As a brazilian fan, Senna will be always alive, he was a living legend, with inspiring quotes, humble acts and social activies, until nowadays his Foundation Senna gives support to poor children get schooled in Brazil.
Ayrton Senna from Brazil.
PS: as we say here in Brazil: '' Senna is not gone, he is just one lap ahead of us ''.

He was à genius its simple .a mozart of racing! Miss him. rip boss.
Senna the best driver of all time. The rain master. The king of Monaco.
He was supernatural.
Best driver ALL time!
#10 - His first win was in Portugal but in 1985. In 1984 he was driving for Toleman.
Great race 85 Portugal. Future f1 legends were spinning out in the pouring rain. Prost spun out right behind Senna in a straightaway. Senna lapped everyone except 2nd place, who was far behind.
Ayrton had class and his strong will was incomparable. No other pilot of his generation could come close to him. The man was special. 👍♥️
One-of-a-kind. Never forgotten. Rest in peace, champ.
They'll never be another AYRTON SENNA , his desire to win , the passion , the drive , the way he pushed the car and himself to the limit , the commitment to the sport , what a LEGEND 🏎💫🇧🇷
He could have had more titles had the 1994 san marino grand prix not happened
Without a doubt. William's won in 96 and 97 and he is a much better driver than damon and especially villeneuve. Plus who knows after that. Plus he was robbed of it in 1989. He should be a 6 times champion, AT LEAST
*Would
Sanad Saed I think Senna was actually getting better though. He still won Monaco in 1993, right? In a Ford powered McLaren, then barely lost to Prost for the title that year. Michael knew how great Antron was and probably thought of him as a rival and friend.
The "Rain Man"
The Legendary Driver F1
His legendary Indy car test I believe in 1993, when it took him a couple laps and he was already faster then most Indy car drivers and introduced a driving style and technique that changed that sport for the future
Melhor piloto de todos os tempos sem dúvida
He was my hero ! I was watching when he hit the wall, I couldn't believe it. i was crying like baby that day.
Nice video, Ayrton forever
Aryton the greatest race car driver ever!!!!
He was and will alway be the greatest
We miss you, Ayrton!
Descanse em paz.
When Schumacher says you're better, then you sure are ..... 94,95,96,97 those would surely be Senna's years.
He was the greatest because everytime someone said you can’t, Senna said “I can”. Everytime they pushed him he pushed back. He wasn’t just a driver. He was a fighter.
The GOAT, the best driver of all time !!!
He still is the greatest
🇧🇷🏁👍 IMPRESSIONANTE 🇧🇷🏁👍 essas imagens do AYRTON SENNA 🏁🇧🇷👍 guiando um F-1 , INCOMPARÁVEL , FENÔMENO, LENDA , LENDA, LENDA 👍🇧🇷🏁
Esse realmente guiava em outro patamar. Brasil
I've never seen Senna saying he had a God given right to win. That's nonsense, something created by the media that people just assumed it was true. But I agree with the other 9 reasons. Great video!
He was humble and organic in life, and organic in his car.
He knew he was priviledged by love and family, so he gave back by creating jobs/housing/lifestyle for workers...
He was an all round beautiful person and beast on the track...
Ik for a fact if Senna was still alive he would of won another 2 world championships (at least) and Schumacher wouldn’t have 7 world championships
Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher are no doubt the 2 best drivers to ever turn the steering wheel of a racing car although Niki Lauda comes a close third, for him to come back and win another world championship is a true demonstration of pure brilliance... Unfortunately for these superstars, fate had to intervene in the worst way...
Fangio, Jim Clark and Ayrton. That’s like the holy trinity. Only these three.
This guy ❤️I remember waking up Sunday morning while my father was watching his race. Senna is really inspirational ❤️
JUST WHAT I NEEDED
In a world gone so wrong
Senna was all in
All the time
💯💙✌🏻
Thanks so much for putting this footage together,,, I have seen them all, so many other times, separately,,, and here they are, all together!! Sincerely wish that he had followed his instincts and not been so professional, on that fatal day! R.I.P. and in Glory, Ayrton!
He was fearless! He knew the risk and took it. RIP
Great video!! Thanks 🙏
The magician!
In 2017 it was stated that Senna's charity institute had helped 12 million poor children in Brazil
Have been a F 1 fan since 1975 , can say for sure imo never saw a better driver than him . Never a driver won as many races without having the best car like he did . On top of that if counting , 162 races is not much .
The GOAT. Lindo.
The Final Boss of F1
Ayrton Senna da Silva ó melhor piloto que a F1 já teve é terá !
"driving beyond consciousness" does it for me.
Tina turner: quote "simply the best"
To God be the glory Brasiliano RIP👍🏻🙌🏻
Yes. He is unbeatable and unbelievable👍 in the history of F1 motor sports.
michael schumacher was geniunely emotional about senna's death its actually really touching
What a time to have been an F1 fan. Grew up with it as a kid in the '70s, came of age together in the '80s into the mid '90s when the great up and comer Michael Schumacher was making it happen with Team Benetton.
Sadly, F1 has lost a lot of what made it great but I hope that things will improve with some of the upcoming rule-changes. Time will tell...
Great video brother! God bless you all!
Краля на формула 1.айртон сена.най великия на всички времена.
If he still racing in 2020 im sure F1 will not this boring
Senna is the best driver of f1 history. His numbers can't show how good he was. He was sabotaged many times and rarely had a good car
The man from another dimension .
Happy Birthday Legend!🏎🐐
The god of f1
thanks for that , and yes, you right he was the best. just two things I want to point as a f1 reporter. first, his first win was in 85 not 84 , estoril in Portugal. secondly, he said the radio communication distracted him in monaco 88 and that's why he crashed saying...it was myfault
MELHOR DO PLANETA AYRTON!!
Senna🇧🇷
Magic Senna
One in seven billion. God bless him.
Hey mate!
Amazing video👍
What's the name of the track tho?
un solo grande Eroe.. il suo nome AYRTON SENNA..
the GOAT .. ask all current drivers who is goat , an most of them will agree with this ..
Would you go to TSAVO.
It's interesting that at the time he was alive he was not hailed as the greatest ever, when he was gone, he became a myth...
2:08 why mick schumacher is using his dad suit?
I disliked Schumacher intensely when he was a racing driver for the brutal way in which he competed, but you could tell how deeply the death of Ayrton Senna affected him. I don't think it was a put on.
To this drivers he was the best:
Lauda, Mansell, Schumacher, Hakkinen, Alonso, Hamilton and many others... For me too.
Be faster than Lauda and Mansell with a poor Toleman is ridiculous.
That 100% sums it up. Well said Lucas.
Senna was one with the car and had some sort of extra sensory perception
I’m glad you no this.
Drugovich is coming go brazil🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 pega esse inglês
The god level of F1 driver.
He only raced f1 like could he be good in nascar or endurance racing?
👏👏👏👏
You need to see it to believe it. He is the goat…
People forget in 1993 that Senna won by nearly a full lap over teammate Prost. Sorry, Williams competitor Prost.
In 1993 they weren't teammates anymore.
...and out qualified his Team mate(Prost) when in McLaren, at Monaco (the shortest laptime of all circuits that year) by 1.5 seconds!
Não tinha, mais adversários aqui os circuitos já estavam pequenos .foi correr em outra dimensão .com os deuses nesse dia a f1 acabou mas voce Ayrto Senna SA Silva do Brasil do mundo é eterno !
The day f1 the end
2:25 does that mean Senna won 4 titles
Yes, yes it does.
I can tell you now, there’s a lot more than ten reasons
M O N S T R O ... ... ... ...
To know more avout senna, you should read How To Build A Car by Adrian Newey. Really good book overall, even as a Red Bull disliker.
When will the media realize this and tell Lewis he is not what he thinks he is or at least tell the one car wonder Mr Hamilton that if he wins in more than one car we will all
give him the same credit we give/gave Mr Senna ?????? Our mate George has proven bless him that a half decent driver can win in the Merc as it stands today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well if the pit crew or team principal allow it to happen that is ???????????????????
🏎️🇧🇷
Music spoils the whole video
True, i will edit and upload this video again with better quality ,)
Andaikan senna gak meninggal mungkin saja Schumacher gak akan se legend ini
He is the greatest of them all... Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher can't really compare IMHO.
Jim Clark is the greatest driver of all time. ALSO, a true gentleman.
Jackie Stewart was talking as if motorsport should be a stop and yield business. Even Nascar drivers were turned off by this clown's hypocrisy.
Why he is the greatest??
Because he is Senna. Fullstop.
Senna is one of the greats, no one could even attempt to argue that, however:
Top 10 problems with this video:
1. He made overtaking look effortless - he had more crashes in his career than any other champion (except schumacher)
2. He was the rain master - I can't argue he was definitely great in the wet, but you showed a clip of a race when he crashed out of, also of note: he had a poor Belgium 92 in the wet when Schumacher took his maiden victory. He also spun twice and retired from the Spanish Grand Prix 92 in the wet, also in Australia '89 he smashed into the back of Brundle on lap 14 in the wet. All drivers have spun in the wet, but if you're going to call someone 'the rain master' - may be don't omit these points.
3. You use a video where Sir Jackie Stewart is pointing out that Senna crashes a lot - Far more than any other world champions. The quote "if you don't go for a gap you're not a racing driver" is cool and all, but Senna often went for the overtake when there wasn't a gap and just expected others to get out of his way.
4. He inspired the greats - many of the greats had left the sport before he even sat in a car. You're using a video of Schumacher trying to be humble after someone had just died.... what about the press conferences in 92 and 93 where he absolutely berated Senna, saying he was reckless and even outright stating that he, Schumacher, was the better driver.
5. With regards to the Eric Comas crash, you fail to mention this was in practice not in the race, loads of other drivers get out to help drivers in practice it happened all the time. At no point has he ever got out and helped another driver mid-race.... other drivers have though.
6. He could get in a state beyond consciousness - (a) allegedly (b) what is to say other drivers didn't/ don't do the same. Hamilton has explained that sometimes it feel like things are going in slow motion. (c) To prove your point on this, and to assert he is the greatest, you show the video of when he zoned out in Monaco and crashed from the lead, which almost certainly cost him the title that year.
7. 41 wins & three championships - okay. doesn't make him the best if you're just talking numbers. There's 10 others with the same or more titles and he's behind Prost in the number of victories, as well as Vettel Schumacher and Hamilton. Also to note, he didn't win a title until he got in the McLaren - by far the best car on the grid at the time.
8. He still shocks modern day drivers with his skill - sure, I agree. But they're talking in part about what every driver did in that era and there's loads of other videos of the same pairing (Lewis and Martin) also talking about the skill of other drivers, they watched Moss, Fangio, Clark, Stewart - etc etc and the praise was the same. It is not like Senna is the only driver that still 'shocks' modern drivers with his skill. In fact, Martin Brundle is often critical of Senna, especially in regards to his overtakes given that he was the brunt of some of them, even going back to F3.
9. He believed he had a god given right to win! - Is one of the biggest flaws of Senna. I don't know why you would add this to the list. It was even the reason Prost retired because he didn't want to be his teammate at Williams for '94 as he feared for his life, knowing that Senna didn't. It also came across in his driving which was almost arrogant, he couldn't comprehend why others wouldn't get out of his way when he came barging past as they were interrupting the might of god. Which is a bit psychotic when you think about it. You know he once got fined $15,000 because he assaulted a marshal because he wouldn't give Senna a push start.
10. He produced iconic moments. Yes he did. So have loads of other drivers, he isn't the only one. In fact, a lot of his moments also stem from crashes.
Senna was a great driver of that there is no doubt, my issue is with your bias video, not him. The reasons listed in this video are why he was a great driver, not the greatest. You could give these reasons for most of the greats, there is no argument here that elevates Senna over most of the greats, if any. At the end of the day, there's no such things as "the greatest" it is just too subjective and boils down to your personal preference... there is no right or wrong (to a certain degree). If you're going to give reasons for Senna being the greatest use arguments that actually have some validity to them.
Suspended for 6 months on grounds of dangerous driving... And then suspended permanently by divine intervention (which he completely believed in)...
5 isnt true lol
I was designed to win, what are you talking about?
Ayrton was not the greatest, he IS the greatest
Only 10 there are far too many to count the most important 1 he is not Hamilton
Ken Miles: Amateur
Fun fact! Msc gave senna his first championship so by my math he was only a 6x champ 😂
