Some people ask why there are 9 royal families in Malaysia? the asnwer is : these 9 royal families are from 9 different kingdoms in the Malay Peninsular. They have been ruling their own kingdoms from the ancient time and even during the British Colonialisation time. In 1895 (The 1st Federation) , 4 kingdoms formed a Federation known as The Federate Malay State (FMS) and their kingdom were downsize as state with Kuala Lumpur as the Federation's Capital CIty. Then in 1948(2nd Federation) , 5 more kingdoms and 2 British Straits States joined the Federation and rebranded as Federation of Malaya. Malaysia are now in the 3rd Federation after the formation of Federation of Malaysia in 1963. SO basically, Malaysia is the Royal Federation and perhaps you can call it as The United Kingdoms, of the east. ( 's' in the Kingdom as plural). LOL..

The sultan quickly intervened and ordered the laundromat to drop the muslim only label or shut down the business. He said "There is no place for racism and religious extremism in my state". When British left India, there were around 450 recognised princely states and few unrecognised principalities. But now there are around 50 modern royal families who still live in palaces and have cultural importance like Jaipur royal family, Mysore royal family. All these modern royal families are related to each other because they marry. So technically, India has one big royal family. We can have a constitutional monarchy with the Emperor of India (Maharaja of India) being head of state. EMPIRE OF INDIA.... 😅

Which means , He is the most utmost priority and considered number 1. The Federal Government workers/offiers are serving His Majesty and have to be loyal to him , in their Oath of Service. Not to the Prime Minister and his party even they won the election and rule the country's administration. The people of Malaysia giving oath /pledge of Loyalty (Rukun Negara) to loyal to the Agong . In one of the page inside Malaysian passport stated that Malaysian People are His Majesty Subject . His Majesty also the Commander in Chief of Malaysia's Armed Forces. Not the Prime Minister. Our New King has nothing to prove. Pls do a bit more of research. Malaysians love this Monarch .
You also missed to point out that he is a professional soldier. He has been brought up with a military education and his leadership qualities were evident from the day he was selected as a platoon commander during his training at the Army Combat Training Centre (Pulada) in Ulu Tiram, Johor.Sultan Ibrahim also excelled in numerous training programmes at Fort Benning, Georgia, and Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in the United States.
They included specialised courses conducted by US Special Forces and the US Army Pathfinder Course, where he successfully executed 19 parachute jumps, eight of them under the cover of darkness.
His exceptional performance earned him a prestigious wing designation, and he was promoted to commander.
Sultan Ibrahim is also a commissioned member of the US Navy Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) team, apart from being an honorary member of Indonesia's Commando Special Forces (Kopassus) after completing several air jumps in Bandung, Indonesia.
He also attended helicopter pilot training with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) apart from participating in a three-month training with the Royal Malaysian Navy in Lumut, Perak.
In addition to his military training, Sultan Ibrahim has also completed two academic courses, namely the Southeast Asian Strategic Studies and the International Law of the Sea at Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Tufts University, Boston.

Yes, l heard from many Johoreans that they are well looked after by him & his Sultanah . He looks into the needs of the poor & Doesn't depend on JKM to continue giving the oku kad holders their real need. HRH the King, while on duty as King in Malaysia keeps a very watchful eyes on his people in Johore. Both Sultan & Sultanah send their own representatives to trace many oku card holders to see to their living condition. Many don't even have cooking pot & hot water thermos & they were provided by the Johor Istana. For these, we are forever grateful. We Johoreans never missed our weekly prayers to pray for them & Johore State. Yes, Malaysia too is in our prayers that it will be like Singapore, corruption free. Can Malaysia adopt such good attitudes & behaviours? I guess it a cancerous disease that has touched the very bone of those who practices corruption. Amputation is the only way to cleanup this Nation, Malaysia.
